thankyou for being there for people who aren't fortunate enough to have a father or parent figure! You deserve everything and I hope you have a good day (and life)!
Thank you sir. For everything. I lost my biological father at age eight(He was shot and killed in the line of duty). I’m 16 now, it doesn’t get easier but I’m thankful for having someone like you around.
Hey man, I just wanted to thank you for existing and making people who have lost their father happy. I'm almost 19 years old, and I still can't believe it's been 12 years since my dad left me and my family. He's not dead, he's not missing; I see him once every summer, but most of the time I'm there, he works and I can't see him, talk to him, of do anything with him. He doesn't have any days off and your channel has helped me through hard times. Thank you for doing what you do.
I didn't have a dad who taught me how to cook or bake. Whenever I tried to cook or bake he'd always make me feel embarrassed if I messed up. My mom or dad would usually just take over. It took me until I was in my mid 20's to really start cooking and baking. It's not as so intimidating when someone isn't telling you you're doing something wrong. Thank you for your videos 💜
I'm 58years old and I just found out about your channel you are So awesome I wish I had your channel when I was growing up keep up the good work and you Will be in my prayers god bless you
Hello father, my name is Samuel, I'm from Brazil and like most of your children who watch you, my real father was never present in my life, so I want to thank you, thank you very much for everything
Thank you Dad! I baked some cookies for my mum with this and she was so happy when she came home today. I did not let her know I ate most of the cookie dough before hand.
I appreciate you, thank you for giving me the opportunity to know what having a dad feels like Im 20 years old and I've struggled with alot on my own despite having a stepdad but he's only made me feel low and worthless I always felt alienated like I was an evil monster I never felt like I ever had a father even when I was suicidal because of him but because of your kindness me and so many others have new hope thank you
Every now and then i look up something on your channel... despite me being 40yo.. thanks for this immense archive on howto's. Your work is absolutely priceless.
Hey, Dad! Glad your back. Just two days ago I told my daughter, we have not heard from Dad How Do I ? for awhile. I said, I hope he is all right. Thanks for the recipe. Cheers!
Been thinking about my Dad a lot lately and you’ve helped ease the pain and help me find joy in the hard times!! Thanks Dad!! We appreciate you so much
I have a dad but he was only physically present. I can say i was raised by a single mom. And my dad never taught me anything. I am emotional to see this channel. Not all girls are daddy's little princess. Not all of us have someone protective and masculine. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful. This is bringing tears to my eyes.
I grew up in a household with an abusive step dad. I always wanted to know how it real to have an actual dad with you. Man watching ur videos really bring joy to me.
If you are allergic to nuts, or you don't have any lying around, try adding some rosemary into the mix, it tastes great with white chocolate! Happy baking everyone!
You touched on one of the best things I think I learned through trial and error. Letting things "rest" after you pull them out of the oven often makes a better showing on the plate and sometimes gets that perfectly cooked effect you see on the package. Cheese tends to be too runny our of the oven, meats absorb or carry a little more fat and seasoning, and baked cooks tend not to fall apart. When the instructions on frozen stuff say "wait 10 minutes, then serve" it does make a difference to you.
I just want to say, in a world that is so messed up you are such a breath of fresh air. I thank God for men like you and pray for you!! Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for being there for people like my best friend who don’t have a dad or me who’s dad left I watch your videos because your like the dad I never had, thanks dad!
OMG, I am crying! I just found out about this channel on Facebook Reels! Someone mentioned it! So I come here to see if it was true! Looking at all your post headings, I began to cry! I grew up with an adopted father who didn't understand my emotional battles from seeing my parents killed in front of my face as a small child. He had no patience with me & I can only remember one life lesson he taught me because he was actually calm that time & realized he made a parenting mistake with my sister. Other than that, because of all the yelling, I didn't really learn anything positive. I thought it was awesome that you are teaching us how to bake cookies! I am actually homeschooling my two youngest & we bake cookies & sell them to financially support our homeschooling!! Thanks for all you're doing, "Dad"! Please keep it up!!
I've heard about your channel for awhile. (Haven't watched much yet) but I wanted to say that's it amazing what you're doing and you're showing the very love that each and every one of us is meant to show. I thank you and commend you for what you're doing. God bless you sir, and may you prosper in life so you may continue to show those that haven't had a father or father figure to show them vital skills for life whether they're sons or daughters of your community.
You know what would be really great content!? “Dad, how do I be good to women?” Dating, anniversaries, listening, respecting boundaries, dealing with rejection, strictly platonic friendships with women, etc. I grew up without a father and I’m noticing that men haven’t learned a lot of essential elements about navigating their relationships with women, so it would be great for you to broach these topics, please and thank you! Also, “Dad, how do I?” for women who grew up without fathers would be nice too. Yes, we need to know how to change our oil, use a drill, etc., but we also need to know how to obtain self-respect and love and confidence if we never got that same approval from our dads. 🥰☺️
Hey Dad! 👍😊 Great joke. 🤣😂👏 Those are beautiful bowls. I use a small ice cream scoop so that they are all a uniform size. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊
My father is out at Poland for military stuff, and my mom has been venting to me more about her life and I wanted it to stop. She only stops when dad is here. So I thought she would appreciate it more if I made her cookies! Thank you for this video in these harsh times!
Very nice tutorial! Here's a couple tips : if your cookies aren't turning out right, the most common mistake is measuring incorrectly. For example, don't use your measuring cup as a scoop when measuring flour. You will pack it down and end up with too much. Fill the measuring cup with a spoon to be more precise. Your cookies will stay chewy and moist for a LONG while if you put them in an airtight container with a slice or two of sandwich bread!
I just want to say thank you. Thank you for helping those who haven't been able to learn these skills from someone in their immediate life. You're an inspiration to me.
I just now learned about your channel. I'm crazy impressed with what you've done to touch so many people's lives! Congratulations on your success!! You absolutely deserve it!!!
I don't really know my biological father because he left our family when I was little. And it still hurts to this day. Your channel is a real discovery for me. Thank you very much, Dad!
Thank you so much for this, My dad left us when I was around 5 or 6 and my moms kinda of the neglect type. I always wanted to bake cookies but since my dads not around and my mom doesn't want anything really to do with me its been hard to figure it out. But thank you so much! Can I call you dad? I really like your energy and your the father I wish I had :)
Funny that I just baked cookies two nights ago! One helpful tip i can pass along is put the (room temp) butter in first, then the sugar and beat that in your machine or by hand as the sugar acts like sandpaper and helps break down the butter faster. You don't want melty butter so just barely soft enough to cut with a butter knife is fine.
Hey Dad, I wanted to say thank you for paving the way for people like me to step into this sphere. Although it had been a little bit into my process that I realized creators like you existed, I like to think you primed the world to be ok with this sort of interaction and virtual mentorship. You really are such a blessing. Thank you so much for sharing your kindness, skills and fatherly warmth with the world 🤍 we love and appreciate you always 🥺🥰
Hi, Dad! I wanted to leave a comment saying just how much I appreciate and learn from your videos. They help me and many others so much and I wanted to thank you! I also wanted ask two questions. One: did you hear about the racing snail who got rid of his shell? He thought it would make him go faster, but it just made him sluggish. And two: what inspired you to start this channel, if you don't mind me asking? Your bravery and perseverance is an amazing thing to watch and it inspires me every time I watch one of your videos. Thank you for all that you do!! I hope you have an amazing month and beyond. Remember to take care of yourself as well!
I didnt know it was this fun having a dad my died when i waw a baby so i never got to experience having a dad but because of you i experienced it thank you sooo much "dad"
Thank you so much for all that you do, Dad. You are truly a gem. I wish I'd had a parent like you instead of people to whom biology had given a job for which they were not even remotely qualified.
This is the first video I saw on your Channel and I know I’m definitely subscribing! I lost my dad almost 6 years ago and I didn’t have a good stepdad till my mom divorced him. I am so happy to have come across this channel. Something as simple as baking cookies was made so heartwarming. I miss baking with my dad. This really brought the sweet feeling back.
I just saw a post of your channel, and came here inmediatelly to subscribe, I´m in tears. God bless you, and protects you. A warm fuzzy hug for you (with all due respect).
This channel is sad as much as it's useful. Don't get me wrong, I love this channel and It does a great deal of good things. But it reminds me of how badly my own dad failed in his fatherhood and why I got and still get so much in trouble, always dragging behind. The strange thing about my father is that he wasn't an addict or abusive and he has a successful job and have plenty of free time. He was always home but he lacked any sense of parenthood and felt nothing about me. No emotion and not even a slight sense of duty to teach his son something or spend some quality time with his family. All of this make me super sad make me to wonder why he was like that. But at the end of the day I have this channel and I should feel happy about it. Thanks!
You're such an amazing person, being there for people who may not have a dad. My mother died when I was 5 due to cancer, and I lived with my dad up until last year when I was 17. It's a long story but to put it short, I came out as gay and he decided to disown me. He kicked me out of the house and I moved in with my boyfriend not too long after. That happening has really put me down, and not a day goes by without me thinking about what he said to me. You are the closest thing I've had to a dad ever since then, if you could even consider what I had a dad. Again, thank you, you're amazing.
This is so much better than the "break and bake" cookies I usually make. Thanks Dad!
You will love these compared to those 👍🏻
thankyou for being there for people who aren't fortunate enough to have a father or parent figure! You deserve everything and I hope you have a good day (and life)!

so sorry for you lose
Oh no that's so sad:( Hope you're doing good.
Call of duty

11:12 "they're perfect because you made them" thank you for such love and kindness!
Dad! Im in tears, your channel is everything. THANKS DAD, OUR INTERNET CHILDREN LOVE YOU SO MUCH! ❤️
I cry the whole way through these videos. And when he makes jokes I ugly cry/laugh and by the end of each video I no longer need therapy. It’s so nice
Aww, glad you’re here 🙏🏻

I love making cookies but the “special recipe” by dad is way better😉 Thanks dad!
He is like a father that I never had
Chocolate chip cookies are my favorite!
Also the dad joke was my favorite part! 😅
OMG!!!!! Almost 4M kids. Congratulations in advance, Dad! ❤
Thanks dad 🥺 I hope your family is doing well. ❤️ thank you for all the hard work you put into these.

God bless you too , dad . those cookies look amazing 😋
Thank you for all your love and patience 💕

My favorite cookie trick: slightly under-bake them so they stay soft *chef's kiss*
Edited to add: Add "cook & serve" pudding in your dough. Trust me.
Just add the pudding? Nothing else?
@@KAPIsDeath When you're mixing up your dry ingredients, add in a package of the dry cook & serve pudding mix, then make as normal.

Funny that I just baked cookies two nights ago!
