Great build, thanks for sharing! I just ordered the basic model, I don't think I'll get as advanced with the interior as you, but a fun lesser known today model to have!
The two Land of the Giants kits (this Spindrift and the the Snake) are kind of Holy Grail kits for me as I have not had the chance to get them but surely will some day. Like you I want to add a bit of lighting to show both the interior and have those side panels light up. I know the kit is not perfect but most, like yourself, have managed to deal with the shortcomings. Nice buildup of this kit. Thanks for sharing.
Do you think if one replaced the front windscreen with something thinner it would be easier to see the interior? It seems as though the thickness hinders the view inside.
Yeah, a clear styrene sheet would improve the view a lot. It may be mistaken memories but I think the original Aurora kit part was clearer than the reissue
Great job. I love the fact that the ship has such a detailed interior. At the 2.5 minute mark, did I spy a TARDIS console on your workbench? Is it to scale with the Character Options action figures? Also, will you be showing us a video of the TARDIS console being made? I'd really like to see how it turns out.
IM TRYING TO MAKE A FULL SIZE, RASOR BLADE AX, SAFETY PIN GRAPPLE HOOK, AND SEASON 2 CUTTING TORCH FULLSIZE, CAN'T FIND THE CLEAR PLASTIC CONE FOT THE FRONT OF THE TORCH.
Great job! Thank you for the in-depth video. I Love all the Irwin Allen space craft and you've done this one justice. Peace.
Thanks 😊
Hi Ian. You've done a fantastic job !. The ship looks amazing. & I would to love to see more Irwin Allen models kits on your channel.
Thanks :)

It's a great, unusual ship and looks good on display
Outstanding Video and presentation.
Thanks

They do cry out for a good lighting kit and though older kits they are fun to do
The seats in the 'real' cockpit are different. If you scratch build them it would free up the the other ones to be used in the passenger section...
Es Bonita la nave ,pero muy pequeña, demasiado pequeña

Yeah I was making it in scale with the CO figures but really need to get round to finishing it

Sounds great, can't wait to see them when done 😀
My Tuxedo cat would be up on the table shoving that plastic stuff off the table.
It's a skill they have
Lovely stuff! And, you're "Nice Tally" is quite high this time
Rising nicely
