This is exactly why I believe Cal will at least use the dark side. From a gameplay perspective they know we don’t wanna play as just a light side Jedi for three games straight.
After two weeks I finally fished the game. You are the first recap to view as I trust your reviews, As usual, you are spot on with your analysis and at least what I too think. I agree that this is the Empire Strikes Back analog. The possibilities you brought up are tantalizing, especially the Kanin Jarus and Aniken plots. The Fallen Order storyline has certainly dealt with issues, characters, and storylines that are way beyond what we see in the Empire Timeline shows and are most welcomed. I am really open to whatever occurs but since all these characters are not present in the original trilogy, it could be a Rouge One ending with Cal and Mirim. The ending to this game was very draining to my soul and left me with many thoughts that I need to think through. Cal and Mirim now have major responsibilities with the child, rebuilding the order (as much as they can with what was left over), and becoming an underground train to get Jedi to this location (which I don't think is a great idea - The empire will come eventually). I'm fraught with the idea of more Jedi getting killed by herding them all here. Time to decompress after this game. As always I enjoy your videos. Tony
Part of me wants to think that Cal will be able to Master the Darkside rather then being consumed by it. Like what Cere said in Fallen Order "I believe you are strong enough to embrace your emotions." Though I don't they will do that in the 3rd game.
There's no "mastering" the darkside Cere was stronger for rejecting it altogether, same goes for Anakin. It will be done in the 3rd it's the been confirmed that the game is planned to be a trilogy.
Merrin best girl Was wondering if it makes any difference if i use the dark side stuff or dont, guess it doesn't, probably next game tho, would be nice to have 2 routes kinda like in in jedi academy back in the days
If cal falling to the dark side means that he will have force lighting in the next game then I will gladly trip him to the dark side 😈
