Ma’am, how do you not have a hand mixer or meat thermometer? “We will just find out when we cut into it” and “we will use our own power” is unexceptionable 😅 The gelatin needs to be mixed in cold water so it can bloom, then added to to hot liquid. I do 1 Tbsp into 1/4c of room temperature water. Hope that helps. You should try Good Culture cottage cheese and sour cream it’s life changing 🙌🏼🥰 Great video though, thank you 🫶🏼

Just settle for custard! My favorite childhood dessert, and my college’s food service made it from scratch once a week. So it was protein based. But of course there was a lot of sugar. I don’t get why carnivores object to stevia. A bit of that should do the trick, a bit of salt, vanilla-custard would be the ideal dessert for carnivores.
For those that struggle with addiction to sugar/processed foods, any sweet taste can trigger a binge. I think it's possible to heal that over time, but that's up to the individual. Sounds great though!
