- It's time to tell my healing story. I found the Carnivore Diet after over a decade of suffering (mostly in secret), and now I'm better than I ever have been. I still have a ways to go, but unlike any time in my past, I know the way forward.
Thanks for listening, I'd love to hear your stories below.

Carnivore is the Way
Thanks Dr. Berry for all you do! And, HI! haha
Hell yeah. I'm just recently getting back on carnivore from a massive falling off the wagon
"Carnivore" is what should be normal to all humans. Same as "Ketogenic"
The fact we need these terms and have to make videos about them is quite insane.
@@Stuart.Branson. lol
She is STUNNING - Waw! This girl looks like a VS angel and super model!!!! I really hope she knows it!
And CONGRATS on your achievement in finding the right human diet for our human body machine! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I'm 68, and over four years into the carnivore lifestyle from a lifetime of overweight and obesity. Down 80 lbs, bloodwork all normal, no health probs, no brain fog, better skin, and other benefits. But I've also experienced occasional missteps, and learned that addicts don't get a cheat day, not even for your birthday. That goes for all addictions: alcohol, sugar, gambling, meth, etc. Cheat days undo everything you've worked for, and your metabolism has to reset all over. Credit where its due, my education toward health is because of videos by Dr. Ken Berry and Dr. Eric Westman.
I love my size 8 jeans and my confidence.
If I can do this, YOU can do this.
@@exploringwithdave5926 I'm in Lake County.
Excellent work.
😅just the reply I was looking for. My birthday is around the corner and I was troubled by that choice. Do I cheat and spiral out control or do I exercise control
Great post. Addicts don't get cheat days.....so true

So happy to see so many carnivores coming online from all walks of lives. ❤
I am not surprised at all. I do not care if you believe in GOD or not but I am going tell you some facts. The Great Biblical Flood destroyed the Pre-Flood World's original soil and atmospheric and water conditions and because of that he ordered some chosen animals to be used as food for they will eat the nutrients deficient plants in order to concentrate these nutrients into nutrients dense animal meat protein. What we considered today as nutrients rich plants are considered severely nutrients deficient to our Pre-Flood Crops before the Great Biblical Flood.
We are going mainstream it seems.
ALL humans are carnivores, they simply have not realised
@@Stuart.Branson. Well put.
I've spent 40+ years in the bottle (alcohol) and since going dry I've noticed the extent of my addictive behavior. Meaning it's either all or nothing. Can't have just one drink, not just one doughnut or candy bar. So it has to be total abstinence for me, whether it's a drink or sugar or carbs.
I think that's right. You have to give all of it up and after a while, you don't miss it.
The hardest thing for me was pizza.
Wow 40+ year is a lot of punishment, I stopped drinking in my early 20’s, 57 now but for the first 20 years sober was figuring out how extensive my addictive personality was and how to deal with it. Congratulations on saving yourself.
Agree
I'm starting to realize this myself. (alcohol not food) :( I've got to give it up, because I can never have just 1 or 2 or 3 drinks. It always turns into 'The Floor' for me.
Same for me……I stopped drinking eight years ago but swapped that addiction for sugar. Fell off the carnivore wagon last year but am now back on track and ditched artificial sweeteners…….no cake, even on my birthday….it’s just the way it has to be!
I'm starting the carnivore diet because
1.) I can't sleep. (sleep apnea)
2.) Always tired.
3.) Still slightly overweight.
4.) brain fog, brain fog, brain fog.
5.) No energy for life. Tired of feeling this way.
Thanks for sharing your story. I don't think I'd ever have the nerve to put-it-all-on-the-line like others on UA-cam. But I sure as hell appreciate when you folks do!! Thank you. :) Also, love the octopus.
Thanks! Good luck to you!
That's pretty much me ! Have you done it yet ? Has it helped
Day 33 atm. Lost 11 lbs. Sleep is about 20% better, but I feel I'm still waking up at night. The 1st time I tried Carnivore, I only ate ground beef and salt for 3 days and I felt my sleep-apnea going away. So I'm guessing that there is still something I am eating that is causing that throat inflammation. I only made it 2 days the first time. The Lion diet was too extreme for me. If I make it 90-100 days on Keto-vore, I'll try the lion diet again. My mood is ridiculously stable. Morning noon and night I just feel calm and content with most things. That's deff the diet. My 5y.o. niece still drives me crazy, but I don't like kids, so that's to be expected. I can feel all of my visceral fat going away, (Stomach and waist are very small now) but all of the fat that you can see on the outside (abs, love-handles) is still there. So be aware, in what order, your body removes fat. @@tristantries9211

@@TheShmeklerThanks you for your testimony, it's hard to figure who's lying about that trending diet and who's not. Can you update after 2 months since your last comment ?
I went vegetarian for a year and became very anemic. Even after going back to the USDA approved diet I continued to develop further problems.I improved 16 years ago by going gluten free, but it didn't help my Thyroid problems or others. Finally at 77 I have gone carnivore and several things have already healed and I am feeling slim again and looking forward to further healing.
Awesome! Happy for you!
Ken berry taks about the importance of iodine for thyroid function. Check it out!
What kind of thyroid problems did you had? I have 'Graves', so i'm thinking carnivore might help?
@@aristoqat I had Hashimotos, but think the carnivore dies would help with everything in my experience.. I am 78 now and now carnivore for 18 months. I have been taken of all but 1 of 7 meds. I have no more arthritis pain, hand tremors gone, depression gone, taken off of heart meds by heart specialist etc. Perhaps some people may not benefit from carnivore, but I don't know who they are. Try it and give it a year or two. I am now planning on going LION so even stricter carnivore, especially eliminating dairy to see if I can resolve even skin issues. Be well:)
I did the colonics, the juicing, the cleanses, fiber, senna. Carnivore has been a lifesaver! So glad you are sharing your experience that so many others have had, where they have been so frustrated and feeling stuck. Great that you have found carnivore woe at such a young age. Your future is much better already! I’m 64 and 2 year Carnivore. I’ve never felt better!

Thanks for sharing your story, Neah.
You didn't share anything about your family life growing up. So many of our emotional issues start there.
You're a beautiful young woman with your whole life ahead of you, and a family of your own to live for.
It seems that, little by little, you're finding inner healing, which will certainly express itself in a healthier lifestyle. With God's help you can overcome.
Just a little advice from someone who's been doing this thing called "life" a good deal longer than you: Deepen your walk with Christ through prayer, Scripture, and Church. And give yourself to your family, friends, and the needs of others. When we give love, we find love. And don't be too hard on yourself. God is gracious. May the Lord bless you. 😊
Anyone else have an uncontrollable urge to give Neah a big hug? Wow❤
Nope. She's promoting a meme diet with no reliable studies to back it up. Her ldl-c is probably through the roof and any competent doctor would tell her that she's putting her life at risk. It's an elimination diet, of course there are short term benefits...duh.
No mate I think if you have uncontrollable urges to hug people it's abit weird.

I'm so glad that you have found dr. Ken Berry ! Please please hang in there and give the Carnivore diet sufficient time for you to recover (at least 90 days). My advice regarding alcohol is don't just stop doing everything at once. Try and moderate your alcohol usage as far as possible and first get 100% used to being Carnivore. Dr Berry's advice is excellent : Eat a big ribeye (or rump steak) until you are COMFORTABLY STUFFED. Then you won't feel like having anything else for a long time. Everything of the best ! Just hang in there !
Neah, this video was amazing. Such commitment to honesty and self-reflection without any hype. My heart breaks for the fifteen-year-old Neah who dealt with her pain and suffering in silence. God bless you for never giving up on yourself and for sharing the story of your complex journey to healing. Deeply touched by this work.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to hear :)
You know I have not started the carnivore diet yet. I'm just researching every carnivores stories and results and they are all fascinating. Your story was the most wonderful and humbling, I've listened to ever. Very down to earth and such a personal private life you have shared with us. That takes bravery. I've seen your other progress videos and you look so much happier, healthier and pain free. So proud of you and thank you for your life experience. It's very inspirational ❤ thank you. 😊
(71 yo) sufferd IBS till I quit eating wheat. At the same time going lowcarb (7 y ago). But my true healing came from regular fasting. My latest fast was 125 hours a few weeks ago. It freed me of all sorts of cravings, brought complete peace of mind. It was one great reset. No more pains in my knees and hips. But then again I had to start eating again. Bonebrothe to start with. Delicious home made: hearth (Brodo) ribeye- burgers, etc. Lost 4 kilo body weight also. So now I do carnivore sometimes ‘ketovore’ by adding little heaps of veg.
I have been sober from alcohol 5 years and my sugar addiction took off. I have been carnivore 5 weeks and feel much better in my health for a 63 year old active woman. Proud of you for being so self aware and self curious. Hugs❤
I am on my 14th days. I am 58 and I have so much energy now, just amazing
Wow, you’re story is almost the same as mine! It took me 67 years to figure it out though. The pain, bloating, foggy brain & flatulence is completely gone. Now I’m dealing with friends & loved ones telling me I’m going to die due to my woe. Thank you so much!!!
So happy for you! What a prison it is to live like that. Glad you're doing better -- good health all around is the best evidence!
Keep up the great work. Funny how no one says a word about our food choices while we are struggling with digestive issues because of eating food that is socially acceptable but terrible for us individually, yet as soon as we attempt healing and therefore change food choices everyone has something to say and it's usually not helpful or encouraging to us.. Hope U can stick with it. 😊
I’m 73 and on Day 70. I can’t seem to yet lose weight or even get into Ketosis (0.2 still!!) but my 10 yrs of IBS has cleared up back in the first 3 weeks!! Shocking! My weak broken splitting nails of last 30 years are now strong and pink and growing as long as I want. I only eat bacon, butter, rib eye eggs and liverwurst for when I’m needing a different flavor. I ate so many cheese burgers that I gagged at the sight of it.. that’s when I added in the liverwurst. It’s kept me on the program. I also have one coffee w heavy cream and 1 T butter in am. Patiently hoping for the weight to drop:(
The beauty of your generous contribution to others is helping them to see to just “jump in” and to not give in to the wasted years of experimentation that many of us have.
I also know that the Grace of God has strengthened me throughout these last 70 days.
I’m in the experiment until I see weight loss… which has eluded me since I had my thyroid removed in 1977.
@@lolainma3218some people actually gain weight when they start carnivore. Your body will get what it needs for nutrition and then should start losing weight. Kelly Hogan gained like 20 pounds before she started losing weight and getting fit.
Your story is the story of many people. The real problem is that we do not talk to each other about it. You are not alone. Thank you for sharing your story. Meat heals.
Thank you for sharing your story. Mine is similar. Digestion issue. IBS. Anxiety. Skin problems. Brain fog. Weight gain. Bloating. Did the blood type diet of A, and preached it to everyone. I did ok for like 10 years. But then the symptoms came back. Went through some stress and symptoms got so bad that I had disability accommodation at work for fibromyalgia. Went ketovore and 80% better. I’m getting a divorce so trying my best to go carnivore while managing all the other changes in my life. The biggest surprise was how much I was relying on food for pleasure. My life is void of joy without food. Now I see what I need to fix about my life. The brain fog is gone and I can see my dependence on food for happiness. So much is going to change in my future!!!
Man your story is so heart wrenching. As I listened I couldn't help but think of my youngest son. He's only 7 and has all the symptoms you have described, pain, bloating, can't eat, all tests coming back normal. It's frustrating and sad to see your child go through that. I have been on Carnivore for 14 days and feel amazing! I have seriously been thinking about starting my 7 year old on it as well, I know it will help him.
@MAV70389 did y’all try it for your little guy?
Thank you for your story!!! I had a similar one... Neurodermitis since childhood. I healed it myself with a very strict low carb diet years ago ( I am 55 years now). I went carnivore now (only two months) because of the weight gain since menopause. Long story, but I experienced the same with the doctors like you. Take the pill and shut up. Now I healed myself from a very, very severe skin issue (and a lot of other things) and feel great. Now I wanna loose some pounds with carnivore. I feel amazing and I plan to stick with it! Greetings from Switzerland 😀
Namaste Neah 🙏 I was carnivore for 4 months last year and it was the best I ever felt in my life after much the same process as you (though my gut issues started after having my first child). I fell off the wagon for a horrible reason not worth mentioning, and this year between stress and anxiety and shitty food and smoking (including weed) which led to drinking heavily and eating more crap, I had developed chronic pain, lymphatic lumps, TMJ and my periods stopped for 6 months. I'm now at 2 weeks of imperfect carnivore and last night I ate an avocado with my lamb and felt awful today. I listened to your video on my way home from work. I just cannot thank you enough for sharing this video. I feel heard and seen and validated thanks to you. And more than that, I feel like I now have the strength to go all-in again and truly heal my body so I can feel as good as I did last year. I've just turned 38 and thanking my lucky stars that I came across carnivore young like you, and have all you amazing teachers and sharers to support us in going so far against the grain and society in order to truly live. Huge hugs and all the blessings to you my lovely. ❤❤❤❤❤
Wow. Thank you for sharing this. I'm so glad my story could resonate with you, and reading your comment here is equally as encouraging to me. I still struggle with off-plan foods from time to time, but it keeps getting easier to jump right back on, and I've been able to stop bingeing at least. Please keep us posted on your progress! Sending you love! :)

I'm from south Africa, black community to be exact. Weight and medical issues are not things people really talk about. i struggled to understand why food didnt treat me like other people or so it seemed. I can relate to you so much cause i tried all diets you did. Keto led me to carnivore because i was still bloating on Keto though following FODMAP
Even on carnivore it’s important to fast periodically
You're first sentences "12 years of trying things" so true, (and the guilt associated) to think it was the diet we ate to please our mom's and the habit we picked to please our friends, sad.
Thanks for sharing your story. Im 68 and 5 months into carnivore after 5 years of keto. I was a daily wine drinker. Now i have an occasional glass in a restaurant or at someone's house. I wanted to do carnivor for 2 years but was afraid to give up the Cabernet. Now i don't even miss it. Good luck to you.
Thanks! That's where I want to be eventually! Glad to know it's possible :)
Wine is the thing I miss the most on the carnivore diet. I want to feel good so I’ll stay away from it. Maybe after I’m healed I can have a glass of wine occasionally.
Neah, Thank you for sharing your life. You are so brave and giving to do so.!! Your video is helping me and I’m sure many others. I have had IBS issues since I was in my late 20’s. I was vegetarian and actually though felt great. I walked 15 miles a day. Taught an excercise class twice a week, did yoga, life was awesome. Until a divorce that lead to working too many hours to support myself & 2 children, then a hysterectomy and my life changed. My IBS took over my life as well. I started eating the SAD diet as I was working too many hours to care what I ate, I felt miserable & I had gained 50lbs. After trying many diets through the years, I finally found Keto it helped tremendously and then went ketovore which finally let me to carnivore. I’m 64 years old now stress once again affected my eating, and I had fallen off the wagon, started eating salads, even a donut or 2. My IBS came back with a vengeance….now climbing my way back to Carnivore, as it is the way, the truth to vibrant health.! Good luck on ur journey.! Thank you for sharing your story.! Your vulnerability is helping many of us.!! 💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you so much! Wow, I feel for you. I hope you continue to find healing! I really think Carnivore is the way for so many like us. :)
From a mom to another mom: be gentle, but firm with yourself. Make a choice, and when you mess up just let it go and move forward toward the goal again. Think of your baby who was trying to learn to walk. Whoops! Fell down... don't cry, just try again. You WILL walk without stumbling in due time. And even then, you'll still stumble sometimes. :-)
I hope you are well when you read this. Hug that baby and don't feel obligated to the Internet. xoxox

Thank you. Thank you for sharing. Im positive more people suffer from these issues but don’t speak about it. You spoke my language, so many things you went through mirror imaged myself. fell into the Carnivore WOE and it has brought healing and relief to my tummy, bowels and overall health. One problem in our society is we view beauty as being healthy. Not sure how you looked when you were not well, but your beauty would indicate to most Americans that you are healthy. And I am most thankful you found your healing.
Being a man, most of us are seen as healthy if we are thin and/or muscular. I can recognize sickness is visually attractive men and women. Based on how their movement, obvious skin issues or general puffiness. It makes me feel bad that the general public doesn’t realize what life can be like.

Thank you for sharing your story! My daughter and I both suffer from painful bloating (we have celiac), even when we don't eat gluten. It is a horrible way to live...always fearful of what you put into your body might cause such uncomfortable pain (or itchy skin, brain fog, sugar cravings, etc). I have not tried the carnivore diet, but after hearing you talk about your experience, it makes sense. The only time that I truly don't get sick is when I only eat meat. I think it is time for a change. Thank you!
What a lovely, deeply honest sharing. You are so easy to listen to and so beautiful. You will be a great teacher and leader in this exciting time of dispelling myths and opening to a truer understanding of the proper human diet. Long but very worthwhile. Love your total self honesty Neah xoxo. I'm carnivore (mostly) for 6 months but still drinking alcohol. I was pre-diabetic with extended belly and swollen ankles. Love your story! Reminds me of me. One important thing I've learned in the last couple of years, It doesn't matter if sugars and grains are fermented into alcohol or rolled into a little Debbie snack cake, my favorite.... They're both super addictive aren't they. Try to think of alcohol as a poison and a carb that you shouldn't eat just like sugar. I think I'll subscribe.

@ambernicole1768 I drink once in a while but its been a while. If I drink it is only like 3 or 4 times a year. Just depends.

@ambernicole1768 You can get there! I know its not easy but the more you feel better in general you start to want to feel that way more often. At least is was that way for me.
This was super insightful for me, as someone who's coming to carnivore from the completely opposite end, as a generally healthy person, with no allergies, no autoimmunity, only slightly overweight when I started, I'm mainly looking to this diet as a prevention of health complications, and a way to boost my athletic performance. The fact that this diet can bring so many people together, with wildly different backgrounds and goals, seems to only back up it's validity.
Agreed!

(We even look a little bit alike🙂} Gut issues, stomach pains that the medical world could not diagnose, blood type diet (I was diagnosed as Type A - vegetarian), vegan life, problems with fiber, bloating, working in the restaurant business, carb and alcohol bingeing which is still a struggle at times. Four years ago, I found a no grains, no sugar plan of eating which started me on my way. For 3.5 years I was ketovoire, which healed my peripheral neuropathy, joint pain, gut issues, anxiety and brain fog about 90% but I know Carnivore is the answer. I eat a piece of broccoli and I have gut pain. Just this week, I put myself on a plan of only Carnivore and no alcohol for the next 30 days and then I'll see where I'm at. I am old enough to be your grandmother and have suffered for a very long time but I am so very grateful for finding Carnivore. You are so lucky to have found Carnivore at a young age. Thank You for sharing your story. Wishing You much Peace & Happiness. 💕
Wow, thank you for sharing all of this! I feel for you! Wishing you the best on your healing path!
Neah has elaborated upon some great points which many of us struggle with. The two-way road of psychosomatic plains will work either way. Individuals who face such issues have a multifaceted challenge which is comprised of trauma's both psychological and physiological. Those who have such issues need to take responsibility for these happenings which is no easy feat. I know a majority of individuals including myself have had to go into these truths of ourselves in order to heal. I would say listen to your body, seek out those who are more holistic in nature for healing modalities, and try to get out of your own way one day at a time. I wish everyone out there the best of luck on your healing journey.
Give yourself permission to heal you deserve it!!!
I can really relate to your story. I have been vegan vegetarian for 13 years. Have been carnivore for over 150 days and feel like I am getting my life back.
Good for you! What a change! 💛
Hi Neah, Thanks for the nice share. Regarding alcohol and coffee: alcohol is carbs and if you are struggling with dropping both from your intake, just focus on loosing the alcohol and keep the comfort of coffee (either black, fatty, or bulletproof). With time, the desire for coffee will drop ever so slowly and, maybe, one morning, you'll just skip it. Don't force yourself. You've gone through enough suffering and privation already. One last thing, you are normal. There is no ideal diet or way of eating for everyone. What suits you, may not suit others...
You look great! So healthy. Thank you for sharing your story.
Neah, thank you, and I wish you the best of luck leaving alcohol, it took a long time for me to leave weed (not that it's a bad plant at all) and change to only meat, and I feel good now, so, again, good luck, keep us updated!
Thank you! Giving up the vices is hard but I agree this diet helps so much!
Thank you for sharing. I'm 28 and I've been very sick with systemic autoimmune problems for 21 years, (and PCOS later). Many doctors have tried but they just don't know. I go through cycles when I am despairing and desperate for answers, do some research, get some tests done, then I'll usually give up for a few years while I'm miserable in bed. I've been too ill to attend medical appointments for a while, but I've had some cognitive improvements recently, so have been watching many videos on carnivore. Your real and honest experience has encouraged me to keep trying, and not give up, despite all the challenges.
Thank you for sharing that! I wish you all the best! ❤️
I go through the same cycles. I’m just coming out of a 9 month avoidance of doctors, only going to my pain doctor because I have to. I began getting sick at 28 years old. Now I’m 66 and terribly ill with several autoimmune disease. I’ve been on so many diets over the years. I even tried carnivore for about 2 weeks once, but I felt so awful I had to quit. I’m thinking about trying it again because if I don’t find something I’m going to be bedridden.
She looks amazing 😻! Such beautiful hair and skin. She looks younger than her age also.
Neah, you are an amazing, inspirational and courageous woman! It is my hope that the information you have shared in this video will make a difference and create a lasting impact on others. May God Bless You throughout your difficult health journey. I am a 78-year-old carnivore who initially began keto 4 years ago to avoid reaching 200 pounds. Not only have I lost 60 pounds, but I have also reversed type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, stage 3 kidney disease, chronic reflux, shortness of breath, arthritis, arrythmia, IBS, and chronic inflammation. I am trying to be a role-model for my family, but my husband of 59 years has not yet given up his carbs. Nor have my 3 adult children and 5 adult grandchildren, who love their bread, pasta, sweets and alcohol! I have learned to find support following carnivore channels on the internet, including yours, and I know I will never allow myself to become obese again! Thank you for sharing your story❣
Incredible! You're a shining light!
It was so easy to listen to this 53-minute video because you speak so well and explain everything so clearly. What struck me most was when the nurse advised you to sit in the sun without sunscreen - and feeling the need to whisper it to you. This world is so upside down. This "sick care" paradigm where everything non-conventional/pharmaceutical is labeled and dismissed as "alternative" or "quackery" or worse and, therefore, not supported by insurance at all, needs to shift - but it seems so lodged in stone right now (when, in fact, this 'modern healthcare' system itself is only 100-odd years old). Thankful for access to other points of view and info and expertise on UA-cam and online (and books, of course).
First time seeing your channel. I’ve been heavily researching carnivore living. I now believe it’s a “lifestyle “ not a “diet”. I’ve already reviewed all the authorities you referenced in the links prior to finding your channel and a few others and the naysayers. At the end of the day it’s clear to me the medical and amateur naysayers don’t really have science on their side. The evidence and data are overwhelming in favour of this lifestyle.
Hopefully you’ll stick with it and win your battle with alcohol. You seem to know yourself well and I would say you just have to quit altogether. You just can’t have a couple that seems apparent from the way you speak about your relationship with alcohol. I wish you all the best with that part of your life going forward. For the sake of your future health, your partner and your child. I’ve subscribed just to see how you’re doing . Best of luck. I’m 72 ,a retired police officer, have never had any real health issues until the last seven years whereupon I developed idiopathic peripheral neuropathy in both legs from the knees down. Likely an autoimmune issue.Neurologists and naturopaths had no answers so I’ve become my own researcher. I’m 🇨🇦so fortunately the medical journey was largely covered barring the naturopaths.
That’s why I’ve turned now to carnivore as a last resort. Hoping for nerve regeneration of some kind.
Doing it 100% the last two weeks. Getting all the results you referenced. No bloating, acid reflux, cravings and lost 5 lbs. I’m 5ft11” 200lbs so not particularly overweight. But getting to 180lb surely won’t hurt. Anyway enough about me.
Again all the best .
Have you seen Elliott Overton and his videos on B1?
I have suffered now for over 45 years. It took my life away, and I was always told by doctors that it was all in my head. I have tried carnivore many times. I have tried every diet, herb, drug, or food known to mankind. For years, and years, and years. I just pray that someday I can live a normal life.
Have you tried d3 + k2 vitamin? This what helped me a ton, besides cutting of any flour in food
@@kravchan yes, Dr. Bergs D3 and K2. Almost a whole bottle.
@@kravchan I am mega dosing b1 and b12 now.
@@Victrola777 was there any difference? I'm consuming 100-150k ui daily, otherwise it turns back to stiff muscles
@kravchan only 5000 iu D3 a day now. I was doing 10,00 before. Maybe I should increase it, but I heard that not all brands of D3 are good for us.
What an amazing testimony Neah … thank you for being so open and transparent … God bless you!
I feel your frustration. The pain without finding the smoking gun. And the doc has that tone making you feel like a liar. So many people experience this and think you are a hypochondriac until it happens to them! I have been mostly carnivore for several months now. Feeling better but have a long way to go in healing.
Hi and I agree that telling stories can relate and by simply sharing your story you get to help others, nice. I got home from work and while cooking I started your video and have listened till the end because I can relate to your crazy food cravings as I suffer with the same problem. Many thanks for sharing your story as I feel helped and am now stronger for tomorrow😊
I am in a similiar struggle, sounds like we have the same skin condition and I refused the steroids, been like ten years and it won’t go away. Sensitivity to foods is huge and I have been intermittent fasting and dabbled with the carnivore diet but I can’t seem to stick with it, the alcohol is hard to quit and that doesn’t help the situation. Thanks for sharing Neah!
I'm 34 years recovering from alcoholism but my addictive personality makes it hard for me to stick to even keto, and believe me, i need at least keto but probably full carnivore. I'm 65 now and have done all the diets, but my research has pointed me to carnivore. I suffer with stomach/ gallbladder stuff which makes me hesitant, but i identified so much with you and find it difficult to let go. Thanks for your real honest chat.
My journey is a duplicate of yours. But you found the remedy at a young age. I did not find the remedy until I was 67. Now I am carnivore, I’ve done all the different diets all of my life. Now I have no stomach pain no gas no bloating. I believe I am on the road to recovery from my.Sibo. It has been quite a journey listening to you. You have gone down the same exact road as me. So happy that you are on the road to healing.
Neah, you should be so proud of yourself. You have come so far in your journey, and at a young age. I’m 49 and just getting it. At the moment because of my constant chronic pain, I find it easy to slip back into eating sugar. I have to be strong, but it’s not easy. Big hugs 🤗 good luck on your journey and I look forward to watching your videos xxxxx ❤
Thank you. Hugs right back! You can do it!
@@neahsway Thank you flower 🌸 xxx
Holy smokes Neah. We have such a similar story. The boozing, the mental issues, gut issues. Thank you for putting this out there so I don’t feel like I’m such a lunatic for only eating meat. Everyone else looks at me like I’m insane. This content helps . Thank you
Glad to help :)
That sudden revelation that you are the smartest person in the room.... and you are at your doctors office! 😮
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible story! That sounds horrible! 😢 I started tearing up a couple of times hearing all that you had to endure and just wanted to give you a big hug. Good for you that you never gave up being your own advocate! 💪🏼
I’m 55 years old and fortunate to not have ever had the gut issues and don’t drink alcohol (although I used to back when I tended bar in my early twenties - but got tired of drinking so I stopped) but I’m so much like you in that I’ve always tried to figure things out and experimented a lot with my health. I was slender and athletic all throughout my childhood and into my twenties but after quitting drinking and smoking from my party days, I started gaining weight in my late twenties and now am morbidly obese as a result of the dang carb cravings. I totally agree with you that Keto and carnivore force you to face your cravings. My relationship with food totally changed for the better on Keto and now on Carnivore.
I too did the “Eat Right for Your Blood Type” diet and followed Sugar Busters (a precursor to low-carb diets from the early nineties). I also tried Paleo. But the carb cravings were always an issue. So finally Ketogenic Diet came on the scene and I tried that back in 2019 and I did good on Keto except that it really increased my anxiety drastically so I stopped even though I’d lost 40 lbs on it which was so important. When I went back to SAD I gained all the weight back plus 10 pounds.
So now I’m finally getting the courage to do carnivore. I’d heard of Carnivore back when I was doing Keto but I was too nervous to try it but I just started it last week and have been alternating between Ketp and Carnivore just to ease back into my glucose-ketone flexibility and also to eat up all the food in my refrigerator that I can’t afford to throw away. But it’s all just about gone now so I’m almost fully carnivore now. Im eating a big bowl of ground beef with smoked Eckrich sausage sliced up in it right now and I’m getting so full! 😂 I’m not noticing any anxiety yet, which had given me some trepidation so I’m feeling more encouraged. I’m excited to see how it goes.
So far I LOVE how EASY Carnivore is. It’s such a relief to not have to deal with food all the damn time! Planning meals, grocery lists and buying all the different foods, recipes, cooking, all the dishes to wash. I’ve never been the kind of person who wants to spend a bunch of time in the kitchen. I’ve got other things I’d much rather do. It was always just too much for me. I LOVE that Carnivore gives me my time back! AND, because it’s so easy, I’m cooking most of my meals at home now (instead of eating out all the time like I have always done in the past) which is so much healthier! Its wonderful! I’m so excited to see how it goes long-term on Carnivore.
I know alcohol is incredibly addictive and am rooting for you. I know you can quit it. Take good care of yourself! Hugs! 🤗 💕 Subscribed!
I appreciate your honesty and enjoyed hearing your healing journey. I can relate to a lot of it. Thank you for sharing.
Have you slipped on carnivore? When I go out with friends it’s so difficult for me to stay on carnivore - and I always regret it because sure enough the crippling anxiety returns.
I’m also diagnosed bipolar disorder - I’m at my best when I’m eating clean keto/carnivore this last hiccup is my last - I must stay the course for me and my daughters and wife. Thanks for sharing your story.
I’m only 10 minutes in and I can relate to so much. You look great for 36. Thanks for sharing your story.
Been in recovery for 28 years from alcoholism. Jesus is definitely the only thing that truly satisfies. Everything else comes up empty. Congratulations on your journey and discovering what the real issues are. Praying you continue to get better and better. Keep on keeping on!
You should be proud of yourself!!!! Don't stop!
I stayed with you to the very end!! Congratulations on working through your journey. I’m 81 years young and I am less than a week into eating Carnivore. I have gut issues and much back inflammation that I am hoping to find some relief in those departments. I am extremely addicted to sweets, so this is going to be my challenge!! Many blessings to you and I was so happy to hear you recognizing that Faith in our Heavenly Father is so important in all of this.
Research Dr. Kellogg of Kelloggs Corn Flakes and you will be shocked at how he was instrumental in encouraging the population to eat a plant-based diet. The public has been brainwashed in how they want us to eat and it is killing us. So, we do have to take control of our bodies and the way that God intends us to live. Much love! You are a strong person and extremely good at giving a monologue!!
Very honorable of you getting through this and sharing it. Thank you!.. and good luck with Carnivore!..
I’m doing an enema while watching this so yeah…I relate to your story so much. Im currently on day 9 of carnivore. Hoping and praying I can finally feel better.
If you can go full carnivore (besides alcohol) and stick to it well, you can get rid of alcohol. I have been sober 9 years, and the key for me was getting out of the restaurant business. I think seeking out another line of work will help. Believe me, you do 3-6 months alcohol free, you will feel so much better mentally, emotionally and physically. The 6 month number is big. You can do it.
Thanks! Yeah, not being in that environment all the time helps a lot :)
This felt like my female animus from the other side of the world speaking for me.
I'm 35M who got his life back finally after 15 years of this mess.
I also did an odyssee of visiting doctors and tried every "healthy" diet there is and self medicated myself with tons of alcohol and cannabis until September 2020. It was Danny Trejo's AA talk and walking the woods that saved me from this demon and it took me until 2024 to finally figure it all out.
Thank you for sharing and all the best from Germany!
Wow. I'm so happy for you! Wishing you all the best!
Our bodies are always communicating with us, but we don't know how to read the signals because we have forgotten how to eat and live properly. Glad you are finding your way and the easiest way is to not fall off the wagon, but if you do fall off the wagon just get back on. good luck!
Thank you for sharing your life and heart with all its ups and downs. I'm 66 and just starting on this strange way of eating. 😁 Totally was against it since the first time I ever heard about it. But all my veggies and fruits are making my joints very painful and even debilitating at times. I'm excited to see how it goes!!
I'm 37...you look great for your age !
It’s wild here journey is so similar to so many of us that u/c and IBS.
Mine started in my 30’s on going for 20 years. Forgive yourself for being human, when you’re chronic chronically ill sometimes we reach a breaking point and we all deal with that breaking point differently. ❤
Getting back on track and keeping going!!
Thank you for sharing your story! So familiar to the struggle. I have faced the same for the last 15 years. I’m seeing major improvements on the carnivore lifestyle👏🏻
Awesome!
Honest to god I feel like I'm dying slowly and it's getting worse and worse. I only seem to last a few days on Carnivore even though I do feel better slightly. Always exhausted and emotionally drained aching everywhere. Thank you for the vlog I must try and be strict and achieve what you have done ❤
Me,too. I think I am slowly dying from autoimmune diseases. I tried carnivore for 2 weeks once and had to quit because I felt so awful. I know it takes a while to get over the “flu” it gives you, but I’m so miserable already that it was so difficult. I’m going to try and see if I can slowly taper off of good carbs and increase the meats.
Great job! I was perfect carnivore eating 14 months then had to quit chewing tobacco, then struggled binge eating bullshit. Thanks for sharing
I did carnivore for 30 days a year or so ago and felt great but eventually went back to my old way of eating and regained weight and brain fog. It’s been 3 weeks now on carnivore and again feeling great and have much better mental clarity. Less fear and negative feelings about myself and insecurity talking to people and wishing I could just shut off from the world.
Carnivore is the bomb. 😊
My poop's great. Thanks for asking. :)
My issue is excessive weight and suspicion of diabetes, and I have psoriasis but a mild one.
The weight is the biggest issue right now.
Great video!!! What most people will not think about is the fact that you were so young when all this happened.
Powerful story and wonderfully told. So pleased for you. ❤
Thank you for sharing your story. It's very relevant to us, I have a teen who is experiencing what you went through. She is nearly 1 month carnivore. It helps to hear stories like yours x
Just found your channel! So much of what you went thru sounds like my story as well. Unfortunately, I went so far and thought my only option was to remove my colon. No surprise, that didn't help. It took me 10 more years but I'm finally eating carnivore only! The improvement is remarkable!! I'm med free and feel like a new person!!
Wow, I'm so sorry that happened. Glad you're feeling so much better!
