    Hey Ann I’m A Gentleman as you can see lol and just received my Lumen last nite this morn I got a 2 stopped eating at 8pm last nite and fasted till 12:23 pm then I received at 4 hummmm so again definitely appreciate your detailed breakdown of this It works for MEN too lol lol again thanks 🙏🏾 much for the knowledge

    Just came across your videos and watched one where you state that you followed the Lumen food advice and how it made you feel. I’ve been keto and IF for a couple of years and my hair loss was still crazy so I thought I’d try eating more carbs and less IF using the lumen. After a month following their plan I’ve gained weight and just like you described I feel weighed down and thick……aaahhhh not what I wanted. So I’m watching your videos to teach me to use this device while I return to IF and keto with the hope that I’ll lose body fat and stop hair loss.n thanks for your videos ps in 59 years old.

      I'm just so bummed I got one and I cannot get the app to work and I keep contacting customer service it's been over 24 hours 2 days and I don't have a resolution yet I don't know if it's because of the New Year's weekend but I'm very disappointed in the the app performance I can't get the thing to work

    Hi Dy Ann🥰I got my Lumen this weekend. This morning I got a score of 5. So I decided to to fast for 24 hours and feast for 1 hour (instead of my usual 20:4) today. I’m so glad I came across this video this evening. I know that you teach in class to live our most authentic life. Old habits are hard to break. New habits take time and consistency. So, I’m just going to breathe into my Lumen every day for two weeks and get a picture of where I am. Then I’ll decide what range I want to live in. This was very helpful. Thank you!

    I’ve been doing keto with IF / blood testing every AM and have lost 33.4 Lbs. since June 1st. I just got my Lumen today and because I’ve been tracking everything elsewhere my question is how much info do I need to put into Lumen… Is the morning breath it at a minimum or should I do more? That’s why I’m here. Thank you! My 1st score this morning was a 3. 💞

    Just got my Lumen today. So excited to see how i am using my ketones to burn fat. Have been on ketovore since nov 27 2022. Imf 16/8 for 2 years now. Not losing weight like I was when I started Keto 2 years ago. I am 51 and 26 years out of a hysterectomy, and I still have my overaries. Thank the Lord NO HRT. I need to lose about 10 pounds and want to build more muscle. My biggest issues are blood sugar stability and my whole life my energy has not been great. My hunger has been large. Your video was so informative & very well done. Way to take great care of yourself, you are absolutely beautiful, and your skin is tight and bright❤

    Since I am very metabolically challenged now because of the type 2 diabetes, should I even try to use the Lumen at this point? I was thinking it would be helpful to know if what I am doing is helping, but based on what my glucose numbers are, and how they currently are reactive to what I am trying to accomplish, would the Lumen even be useful at this point?

      We will be in class with us in March, right? I recommend making on change at a time. Get through class. Get a good rhythm with you fasting. Spend some time figuring out what foods work for you and what foods don’t. Make some healthy MindSet Shifts then let’s revisit Lumen.

    I’m in my 3rd week of using my Lumen. I usually fast between 16 - 20 hours. Most mornings I wake up with a 3. I’ll fast until 3 or 5 pm and the Lumen still registers a 3, even after a workout! Does this really mean I’m not burning fat! I’ve done 1 32 hour fast since I’ve had the Lumen and I still did not get to Fat Burning. Needless to say aim frustrated. I’m headed into week 4. Could I possibly have that many stored up carbs. My metabolic flexibility score was 7 something. Help!

    I was doing so well with my new Lumen the first 10 days blowing 2s and 1sthan I got Covid-19. I can’t get any thing but 3s

      That is a sign that your body is healing. Just give yourself some time and grace. It took me about 6 weeks to get back to normal after the VID!

    I haven’t gotten anything except a 4 or 5 in the morning. 😢 In two weeks I was a 7.5 flex score. I haven’t started anything other than doing a 16/8 fast. I know I eat too many carbs but I don’t eat a lot. I may be undereating. Any tips?

    It sounds like although you use the lumen, you know your body well enough that you choose your own changes vs Lumen recommendations to change your numbers if needed? Does this sound right?

      Yep! Nutrition is not as difficult as we think it is. Common sense with a device like a Lumen is pretty powerful.

    I was so excited to get my Lumen only to discover that I could not exhale long enough to get a measured reading. I even had a live chat with Lumen representative but still could not exhale long enough. I’m so disappointed that I will have to send it back.

      I had the same problem. It takes practice and patience. It took me @2 weeks to build up my breaths. Hope this helps. But I see it’s been a while and you may have returned it already.

    I don't use Lumen. Have a keto mojo for testing my BS and Ketones. Have been researching the breath analyzers and had ruled out the Lumen with all the complaints I had seen on line. For someone tracking ketones for the sole purpose of health is Lumen the better choice over a ketone breathylizer which measures Acetone? Although I am low carb, I don' t believe they should be cut out of our diet. But I do want to make sure I am not spiking my BS routinely to even the best of carbs like veges.

      If you just go it...do nothing. I always recommend giving it a full two weeks. Wait to see what your Flex Score is.

    Inhale is 4 seconds not 10 on my lumen and i cant even keep the ball in the circle for 4 seconds. Mine calls for 4s inhale, 10s hold, 6s exhale. I am seriously wondering if i will EVER enjoy using this with the struggle in the morning when it constantly rejects my inhale.

      I was that way too in the beginning. Try just inhaling without worrying the number. Do it throughout the day. You will get the hang of it.

      Depends! Is your goal fasting? Then no! If your goal is a number on the Lumen then maybe. My goal is for my body to adjust to my fasting lifestyle! I use Lumen as proof my 20:4 is working for me. So it is up to you and your goals.
