For church dinner I made fruit pizza using homemade sugar cookie crust, Yummy home canned peaches and blueberries on top of cream cheese icing with lemon zest. It was soooo good. I was glad to have things to throw together quick for church suppers.
Oh my...your beautiful canning has me craving a jar! Also a craving a canning kitchen and peach trees, etc. 😊 The plum and cherry trees I planted didn't survive. 😔 Thank you for the inspiration. God bless you.
Wow everything looks so amazing. I have not tried to do jellies yet only jams. Those figs look very interesting also. It's absolutely crazy how you can have all that delicious food and Danny's skinny as he is.
Ms Wanda , how I wish I had all that peach to make my Habanero beach sauce. I pay so much for organic peach ! Again great video . Thanks for sharing my family really enjoy your videos .
Miss Wanda, Thank You for the memories,, Am 71 this brings me back to my grannies when she was canning, this was my favorite jelly and surup. I move to T or C NM, I will be doing this in the next few week's. I love You and Danny, You are my long distance family,
They are amazing, l will make some in a few days. I will use white flesh and yellow flesh peaches. Thank you for sharing this, from Melbourne Australia
Going to pick up more jar at ACE Monday I am going to do some pears. The first I did, I think I should have added fruit Pectin cause I did not want all that sugar. Watching you peachy video now.
Canned my last 10 pints today. 29 (would have had 30 but I had one blow open cuz I did not tighten the lid enough) pints in 3 days. It was a lot of work with having 2 toddlers too, but it was SOOO worth it! We have peaches for a year. And, I am gonna make jelly with the leftover juice :) YUM! Oh Yeah !!! AND..... I got to use my new Bar Mat too :) :)
Peaches are one of my fav. This looks wonderful. We have a tree thats growing on some abandoned property near us. The last 2 years we got a bumper crop. So thankful I made peach jelly, jam and canned peaches. This year. no peaches. :( One fun thing I like to do if I have extra is to make peach butter, Peach jelly with red hots. or flavor it with cinnamon and nutmeg. I have also cooked the peels in the crock for the juice while Im doing other peachy things. I think looking at jelly in the cupboards is like looking at jewels. They are just so beautiful and all so unique.
The peaches looks yummy! I just made some raspberry jam home made from a wild raspberry bush growing in the back yard for the first time. I am planning on doing more it is the best way to store fruit for the winter.
Wanda, does the Blue Book tell how to make sugar-free jam or jelly? My husband & I are both diabetics. God's blessing to you both! Love from Carol in Phoenix 🙏🍑🍓🙏
Those peaches look fantastic. Don't you use the cold saucer test, to check if it's ready to set? It's a lot of hard work only to find that it didn't set.
I miss just plain canned fruit. We don’t eat it much (no trees and buying the fruit is expensive) but opening a can of fruit was a regular dessert at my grandmothers so it reminds me of her.
Is there a reason you don't boil the peaches for a short bit to make the skins slip off? BTW, I learned about using the peach peels and pits from you last year and made a bunch of syrup and jelly! This year I made peach cider with it.
I had to cancel my Peach Truck order of 50 lbs of peaches this year. The day the truck came in would be 2 days before my husband would have been dis charged from hospital! I'm so happy I canceled because they would of sat there and rotted because I couldn't find another minute in the day. Next year though, watch out! I will have peaches in a light syrup canned up and I'll be making a peach syrup with the skins. I love peach syrup in my iced tea and it's great on pancakes and ice cream! My question for you would be would to make the syrup would it benefit it to add some of the pits in with the peals for added flavor?
Hi Wanda! Thanks for the inspiration. Did you drain the peach peelings from the water containing the fruit fresh product and place them in fresh water before cooking them down for the jelly?
The juice from a number ten can of peaches can you make jelly from it. The juice from a #10 can peaches already or sweet. Do you have to add more sugar.
Just Peachy!!!!
Wanda, what an informative video. I am so thankful I found your channel.
Darn squirrels,,your awesome

Peach syrup on pancakes would be fantastic. Your jelly looks like jewels it is so clear and bright.

I'll call you right back
Looks delicious. I've got apricots to do. Peaches 🍑 next.
Looks so pretty when finished.
I hope I didn't mass up too bad. I put Lemon juice but I also put a little of that fruit protector in the Peaches.
Beautiful peaches!!

Oh my goodness!! They look so good..
yum!!
Wanda that looks so good, thanks for the video.
So yummy! 😋 Blessings
I did use raw sugar in the Peaches.
Wanda, does the Blue Book tell how to make sugar-free jam or jelly? My husband & I are both diabetics. God's blessing to you both! Love from Carol in Phoenix 🙏🍑🍓🙏
It has some recipes for low sugar. Not sure about no sugar
I am doing peaches Monday. Great video! Thank you. Love that juice color
Those peaches look fantastic. Don't you use the cold saucer test, to check if it's ready to set? It's a lot of hard work only to find that it didn't set.
I love syrup so i was good either way.
A lot of extra work and cleanup
I had to cancel my Peach Truck order of 50 lbs of peaches this year. The day the truck came in would be 2 days before my husband would have been dis charged from hospital! So did I miss the part where you told how many minutes to water bath the jelly?
5 minutes for jelly
Hi Wanda! Thanks for the inspiration. Did you drain the peach peelings from the water containing the fruit fresh product and place them in fresh water before cooking them down for the jelly?
Yes I did
Wanda, how much water to the peach peelings and how long do you cook them before straining off peelings? ~~Jennifer
I covered the peelings and cooked about an hour slowly
Thank you for sharing. Would the steam juicer work for the peals?
Yes
How much fruit preserver do you use in the water?
You know me, i don't measure! I looked at the instructions and guessed
@@CrazyDazes I couldn't find anything on the instructions so I just dumped some in the water. I probably used to much but the peaches turned out good.
No waste on your place is there? That's how my parents did things when I was growing up.
Wanda, how long did you cook the peach peeling for to make the jelly?
20 to 30 minutes
Do ya have to make them that sweet? I like a little less sugar.
Jelly has to be exact to set. Syrup needs sugar to thicken. Otherwise it is just peach juice
Can you please tell me how much lemon juice to water you use to prevent the peaches from browning?
I use about 1/2 cup per gallon
Do you prefer glass top stoves or regular range stoves for canning? We need a new stove and are just wondering. Thx!
I am having stove issues now that the warranty ran out. So i don't know which now! At least my smooth surface was working
The juice from a number ten can of peaches can you make jelly from it. The juice from a #10 can peaches already or sweet. Do you have to add more sugar.
I have never made jelly from number 10 cans of peaches, so I wouldn't know.
Is it the same syrup that you add to peaches and figs?
I used the juice of the peaches to make syrup. I use the fig syrup that I cooked them in and added more sugar and made syrup
Did you process the syrup or juice after jarring?
Yes, all was water bath canned.
