So I usually pour all of my jelly into a pitcher so I can pour all of my jars at the same time. It’s sooooo much easier than ladeling and a lot less messier. You’re such a doll! Thank you for sharing! Lovely video!

Thank you for the pitcher idea! I assume you use a metal pitcher? Because the just-boiled jelly seems too hot to pour into a plastic pitcher.

I've made 3 different Juicy Juice jellies since I watched your video. I'm going to try (100% juice and no added sugar, of course) V8 strawberry/Banana and then V8 Pomegranate/Blueberry. Since I live alone I make 6 to 8 jars, keep one and give the rest away. Having a blast.

I usually make jams using fresh and frozen fruit but this method is the absolute easiest and quickest method to delicious homemade jellies! Anyone can do this. Thank you so much. Also made 2 batches of the Welch's grape jelly from your grape jelly video.👍🏾

You are absolutely on point with an amazing purpose and I really appreciate your videos. I try to pass this skill on to whomever will try it.
I do all sorts of canning and years ago I started making plum jam the strawberry preserves from fresh or frozen fruit. Now I find it's easier to make the jams and jellies in winter so I freeze my plums and now I buy frozen strawberries from Walmart to cut my prep time. I can never go back to store bought because it does not taste the same as homemade. Keep up the great work!🎉❤

I just made pineapple juice (I used frozen and made it) and used this recipe to make pineapple jelly!!! I’m waiting on my cans to seal right now. I apologize if I have any typos.
    Here is the recipe:
Canning for Newbies: Easy Peach Apple Jelly made from Bottled Juice
    By The Kneady Homesteader
    Makes 8 half pints
    Ingredients and equipment:
5 cups of juice - Use any flavor of juice as long as it is 100% juice - no sugar added
    7 cups of sugar divided
8 Tbsp. Pectin (Ball) & a little extra for good luck (about a tsp.)
1 Tbsp. butter (optional but it will help stop heavy foaming)
Set aside a ramekin filled with vinegar along with a couple of napkins or paper towels
A heavy bottom pot deep enough so that the hot jelly will not boil over or splatter because it will be hot
    Long spatula
    Whisk
    Timer
    Directions:
(preset the timer to 1 minute and set it aside)
Place a couple of spoons in the freezer.
Really clean your work area and place a clean towel over your work-space.
Fill your canner following the manufacturer’s directions. Have your utensils and anything that will touch the jelly in the canner filled with water and boil for 10 minutes. Remove the utensils and place them on a clean towel in your work area leaving your jars in the canner simmering until you need them. Have 1 or 2 extra half pint jars in the canner even though the recipe should only make 8 half pints (just in case you need them should you find a damaged rim or somehow contaminate a jar).
If you have hard water pour some white vinegar in the canner to stop calcium forming on the jars and lids. You can use the left-over vinegar from cleaning the rims of the jars. (Ball recommends ¼ cup)
Have the lids and bands in warm water (have 1 or 2 extras just in case you need them).
    Organize your work area.
Have a designated area set up to place the processed jars for 12-24 hours away from any drafts. Again, on a clean towel.
Have hot soapy water ready in your sink to soak the used items in for cleaning.
When you are ready to start making the jelly:
Pour the juice into your pot.
In a bowl add ¼ cup of sugar and the pectin. Mix well and add the mixture to the juice. (Use the rubber spatula so you get every bit of the pectin into the pot). Mix until dissolved in your juice over medium high heat stirring constantly.
Bring to a hard boil (until you can’t stir the bubbles away) and add remaining 6 ¾ cups of sugar slowly to the boiling mixture.
    Add butter (optional but recommended)
Stir using a whisk until sugar is dissolved then switch back to the rubber spatula.
Bring back to a rolling boil that you can’t stir down.
Set off the 1-minute timer and keep stirring.
Turn off the heat but keep stirring until it stops boiling. (Continue stirring for a minute or so).
You can do the spoon test if you wish and that is to use a cold spoon, dip it in the jelly and see if it is jelling.
Start filling up the jars. Have 2 jars from the canner on the work area so you have a place to put the funnel while cleaning the rim of the filled jar.
Fill the jar leaving a ¼ inch head space.
Clean the rim really well with the vinegar.
Place a lid on top of the jar, place the ring on the jar and turn it to finger tight.
Place the filled jar back in the canner and bring out another one.
Repeat until there is no jelly left.
Bring your canner up to a rolling boil and set your timer for 10 minutes (which is for an altitude of 0-1000 feet - adjust the time for your altitude)
When done turn off the heat and let the canner settle down for five minutes, remove the lid away from you and remove the jars straight up and place them in the designated area to keep them undisturbed for 12-24 hours and away from any drafts.
When this time is up, remove the rings and check the lids to make sure they have sealed. Wash the jars to remove any sticky jelly, label them with the date and put them away.
    Tips:
Have a Ball Jar Holder, towel or a pot holder in one hand while using the jar lifter in your other hand to remove the jars from the canner and also to hold the jar while turning the rings as the jar will be very hot.
It is now recommended that you not tilt your jars when removing them from the canner.

Wow! I WISH I would’ve this 40 years ago. In 1980 I helped my grandma make peach jam from farm fresh peaches. It sounds lovely. It’s not! I had peach fuzz everywhere and I mean everywhere. It was gross, disgusting and uncomfortably itchy. After not eating peach jam for almost 40 years I finally broke down in 2019 and bought a jar. 😂🤣😆🙄 This I may actually try. TYVM. I’m praying for you and your family. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

Heather, I made very low sugar jam with the low sugar pectin & only 1/2 cup of sugar with 10 cups of juice. I have used different juices. One flavor was pomagranite (sp) plum juice & it tasted very good. I gave jelly to coworkers for Christmas gifts & this was one of the favorites. You are correct that this is SO easy. Vuda

Thank you for sharing not just your ideas, but the kids reactions. Thank for the new ideas. I grew up with my grandparents garden and in their summer kitchen. I knew canning was not hard, but had never been hands on with the actual canning part until I was married with kids. My husband and I grow our own hot peppers and make pepper jelly, and salsa. When I have a good year with cucumbers we make pickles. Thank you for opening my eyes to greater possibilities for all my empty jars. Thank you! Yes, I have the book you recommended downloaded, a canning pressure cooker on a wish list, and most all other supplies on hand. Thank you, oh and you can thank Kip with his BA rice cooking videos for name dropping.

I appreciated hearing you say that you can to destress and help with anxiety. I feel the same way. I have said this to others and they just kind of look at me funny. Sometimes when I have a lost of stress going on, I just look for something to can and it's a distraction and relaxing. I'm glad I am not the only one... :)

+Mrs. VeNard HAHAHAHAHAHHAA! I know, no pro vlogger here. It is literally like having you sit in my kitchen with me. HAHAHAHA I do love it when it sings to me. Yeah, I feel the same way. There is something about doing something positive, like canning, that makes me feel so much better! Baking is the same way too for me. Hand kneading dough, is therapeutic.
