as a person from south louisiana i can confirm his accent is really good😂
I'm not Cajun, but I lived in central Louisiana for several years. He could pass for a bayou boy pretty well. I mean, I can't find anything wrong with his accent or run together words.
Channing's accent is an authentic Cajun accent and members of that community said it was very accurate. Channing has family who speak that way.

Btw gambit accent doesn't suck. Its actually 100% accurate to where he grew up in the comics. Tatum grew up close to there and those from there have said it's perfect.

Peter being made into a legend in every universe was such a touching move by Ryan. Rob Delaney lost his 2 and half year old son from brain cancer and the movie is dedicated to him. RIP Henry Delaney 🙏

It's actually dead-on accurate. His dad is from Metairie, Louisiana and his family is a mix of Cajun and Quebecois, and he grew up in the Mississippi bayou.
Every reactor who doesn't live in the South had that take. It's bothersome that when an accent doesn't sound like yours or the way you think that people talk It's disparage as fake. It should teach people to do some research of things they're unfamiliar with

@@ghostlee6434 It's not just that it "doesn't sound like theirs", it's because it's so difficult to understand. People don't assume every accent besides theirs is fake, but they do assume that accents are generally intelligible, so when they're not, they think it's a poor imitation/exaggerated stereotype. Sometimes that's true, sometimes it's not. But it's not as reductive as "it's not mine, so it's bad".

Blake Lively as Lady Deadpool wasn’t something thought of for just this movie, Rob Liefeld said he based Ladypool on Blake Lively because he and his wife were obsessed with Gossip Girl and he said in a dreamworld, the only person he would think of to cast for her is Blake. So it was fate, 10 years in the making. Even though it was just her voice and a stuntwoman.

It took 24 years and it was absolutely worth the wait! Growing up I never really liked Wolverines blue and yellow costume, it looked pretty ridiculous to me, especially in the old X-Men animated series. But after a very long time, seeing different variations of it, and seeing it truly perfected in this movie, I can’t imagine seeing Wolverine wearing any other costume in battle, besides the brown and tan.
I did recently learn that the reason why wolverine wears such a bright yellow suit is because he wants to draw the attention of any enemies that he fights so that way they are focused on him and not any of his friends, allies, or any civilians, because he’ll take all of that pain if it means he will spare others from harm.
Props to Dave - I think he's legitimately the first YT reactor to recognize the guy in the striped shirt playing a multiverse version of Kevin Nash's "The Russian" from the Thomas Jane version of The Punisher.
Not to brag... but I haven't even seen the Thomas Jane Punisher and I still knew who he was supposed to be

Channing's accent is exactly how tried and true Cajuns talk. He was Gambit all the way. He was definitely the 90's cartoon version. Not the new 97 one, which i personally do not like. Channing also has Cajun roots and was born down south. Trust and believe, he did amazing as the character, and i wish we could have a movie with him.
Again, it's a fabulous reaction, and i can't wait for the next one. 😊
Wesley Snipes showing up was the biggest surprise, and it got the largest reaction in most audiences. Movie was a gosh darn blast! And that 20th Century Fox tribute gets me legit teary-eyed. I got to grow up seeing all these incredibles characters on the big screen, so seeing these payoffs and saying farewell to it all really hits right in the heart.
This film is just perfection. Seeing the different comic book versions of Logan was awesome and finnaly seeing Channing Tatum as Gambit after 20 years of trying to get a solo Gambit film is amazing
Also that Blade cameo made this film go from a 10/10 to a 10000/10 for me.

I went to see it a few days after the premiere and they already managed to spoil Human Tourch for me
i managed to avoid them until watching this with them! i knew NONE of the plot so this was great
They had RDJ lined up for a cameo too but then Marvel announced him as Dr Doom at the convention and so they scrapped it..
As someone who grew up on all the x-men and other FOX super hero films, this movie was a masterpiece. The behind the scenes during the credits of all the FOX movies brought legit tears to my eyes.
Bless Ryan for making that Blade cameo possible.

Wesley was mildly irritated at Ryan's antics in Blade 3. That was all. It was blown far out of proportion when Patton tried to gain more cred by claiming that Wesley and Ryan hated each other. Wesley is a bit of a diva when it comes to movies, but he definitely gives a smiling chuckle when he costars try to upstage him. He doesn't hate them for it, but he does treat it as a challenge.
Diego Maradona is not one of the players on Ryan Reynolds football team, he could only dream of signing a player that good. He was from Argentina and was one of the greatest football players to ever live, and had a serious cocaine problem. He passed away in 2020.

The one part of DP&W I initially didn't like was the concept of an anchor being, I thought it was just silly in a bad way. Then I finally got Disney+ a couple of weeks ago (I'm making the most of their sale to play catch up) and watched Loki for the first time and now it makes a brilliant kind of sense; Loki as God of Stories is holding the multiverse together through his powers over time, but, his time magic uses people as an anchor ("It's not what, or why, it's who."). So it makes sense that it's through people that he is holding the multiverse together, and if a universe looses the one or more people that Loki was holding on to with no one to replace them, it makes sense that their universe would start to wither. Clever!

There were still Marvel things in the Void (Cap's shield, Thor's winged helmet, a S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, etc.), but mostly this was a fond goodbye and celebration of the Fox Marvel universe. And the very best kind of fan service (like Spider-Man: No Way Home). And a hilarious movie with incredible action.
One thing that people here simply don’t grasp is the immense patience it takes to watch it with us rather than in the theatre. I certainly couldn’t do it. These guys are amazing.

Most people in the world outside of Louisiana and some of its surrounding areas don't hear Cajun accents often, if ever; so we assume it'd be intelligible to us 😂

I was not as interested as everyone else in the superhero genre until Deadpool. He put every single super hero back on the map “in a bit of a low point” it’s literally a genius concept and execution.
I definitely lost my voice when I saw Wesley Snipes return as Blade! What a movie!
Diego Maradona is a legendary Argentinian footballer, most (in)famous for his 'Hand of God' where he handballed the ball into the goal in a semi-final against England, leading to Argentina's eventual victory, which his large amount of hair obscured from the referee so it wasn't disallowed. Ryan does own a football team, Wrexham FC, some players and staff appear in the movie, mainly Welshpool from the Deadpool Corps.

When I watched this movie I absolutely got Chicken Skin!! Especially When BLADE said "There's been only one Blade! There's only ever gonna be one Blade!" I was like F∆€K yeah that's right! X-23, & Johnny Storm Was Amazing! And of course WOLVERINE & DEADPOOL was EPIC! Hugh Jackman was ripped for this movie he never ages!

Wolverine in his proper outfit, Deadpool being the mouth as always, Mr. Blade Snipes, Elektra and the Gambit we always wanted but didn't know until Ryan brought him to the big screen. Just beautiful. And yes, I did nerdgasm too when Blade said his famous line 😂 I'm glad to have watched Loki beforehand and gotten myself a healthy amount of american culture over the years, makes you enjoy Wade's jokes that much more. Ryan knows his comics and is just "a guy" like all of us, and so he delivered what we wanted and dreamed when reading the comics.

Oh it's simple to give fans what they want. The problem is it's not what they REALLY want.
And even if you do exactly what they want. They would still complain no matter what.
Exactly! People complain that they're getting the same old same,then complain when they get something new and not the same old same, say they don't like too many cameos, complain about not enough cameos and just nitpick things apart. They like this movie,cool but if fans would get everything they wanted there would be no guardians of the galaxy no black panther among other things

Watched this in the theater in 3D. One of the few movies were the 3D wasn't distracting, it didn't make everything look dark af, and it just added to the experience. Boy was this freakin' enjoyable. It's this and Dune part 2 that really made me feel happy I spent the money either for 3D or Imax.
Word is that Ryan had the hardest time doing the scenes with Channing. Whenever Channing spoke, Ryan burst into laughter and they constantly had to reshoot the scenes.
And the reaction to the intro of Blade was exactly the same in the theater. Everyone loves Snipes as Blade.

Honestly, this movie was such a good send off the Fox Universe. It was a love letter to the fans. Sure, they didn't have the best movies, but to those of us who loved them and grew up watching them over and over and over, this was so great. I was just as giddy with the cameos as you guys were when I saw it in theaters - I even saw it twice because it was that good! I always said Iron Man was my favorite hero from the MCU (with Guardians of the Galaxy being my favorite team) - but now - and I can't believe I get to to say this! - it's The Wolverine. Favorite superhero ever.
