  • Cutting and hauling firewood. What trees we harvest for firewood. In this video we cut and haul two loads of firewood. I also talk a little bit about what trees we select for firewood and why. We are using the 1953 Golden Jubilee and an old trailer to get the wood to the woodyard. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy. #firewood #uppermichigan #906 #goldenjubilee

Good firewood video. Felling trees is one of those jobs where no plan is ever set in stone. Always good to have a plan but sometimes the tree just falls the way it wants too. Thank goodness for felling wedges lol. Take Care !!!

I had similiar problems with small leaning trees. Sooo I asked my dad who is an old retired logger. The solution... put in the backcut and wedge first then cut the face and wedge it over. Works great.
