Sometimes wide or linear isn't wide enough for me :D But distortion is crazy yeah. I will use wide more often from now on I think. And I almost bought the Oslo pocket 3 instead but the way I like to vlog the pocket 3 is too cumbersome. I like to point my camera at things quickly and it would be sooo annoying to use the joystick all the time. And the quality of the action 5 is much better than I thought!
He is referring to the autofocus of Pentax DSLRs and not the Ricoh GR. It's personal but i like the Pentax DSLRs and even that they are in develope new film cameras.... If you like to manual focus, for me its the better choice. I love the good old Nikons in the analog times(FM2) but the menu is a lot better in Pentax cameras.
Yes I do! Mostly to film my UA-cam videos and for other video productions. My videos for the Ricoh GR channel for example are always filmed with the X-S20. I don't use it for photography.
Sam, about a Thypooh Lens without contacts. You can use any m mount lens on your Zf with a focus confirmation. You just need a m-z 6bit TTartisan adapter. Then you get your focus confirmation even without contacts.
Yes I know but then I won't have accurate focus distances. I want both and the only way we can have it is with electronic contacts on a native mount or an accurate M mount adapter with contacts. I also have the techhart autofocus adapter and with that adapter I also get focus confirmation but distance scales become useless with that one too...

Sorry, I probably won't, because for me this video is already a good showcase of what it can do. It has great audio and really good looking video (if you use D-Log) :) You will surely see more of it on this channel because it's just so convenient to use.
Leica Q cameras are just jewellery at this point. Who asked for 43mm? Does any other manufacturer paint fake distance-scales on their lenses? For 7 Grand I'd quite like working distance-scales. "Zone focussing is dead"? From a Leica salesman???? Someone better inform the Leica M salesman quickly. Let's be perfectly honest here, the Fuji X100 series and Ricoh GR series shook up the entire manufacturer community. Leica are desperately trying not to look like they are jumping on that band-wagon ..... but they sure are. Would it hurt to have a 35mm lens? No...... but that would look like they copied Fuji. They'd love a hybrid viewfinder but that would be copying Fuji. Sorry Leica, but please stop trading on past glories from mid 20th century. (What next? A painted Brass Q3 for 15 grand???)
