I just wanted to tell you how much I LOVE your channels. I lived in Paris from 2006-2019 (part-time) and I love seeing all the places that I miss so much. Also, you do such a great job of making videos and your videos should be on Netflix or some mainstream platform...they are that good. Keep up the great work and congrats on the citizenship (i'm jealous). Cheers
He is so right about Sundays. We were in La Marais and it was so quiet. It was great. We also got some night time Eiffel Tower photos at Rue De L’Université, definitely a great spot. Was a little crowded but was worth it.
Place Dalida was also a map in Call of Duty MW3 and was the first thing I wanted to see my first trip to Paris before anything else. Beautiful neighborhood.
Did you ever photograph Paris when the streets are cleaned by water running downhill? Did that the first time I came to Paris in 05-'72. Never did that again but those were the best.
I already saw the best spots! Why is the best place not where we went? We went to the back of "The holy heart", had fun, ate lovely meals. We also never went up the Mr Eiffles tower, because you can't see it when you're there. Had a nice local IPA and a very good lunch! Went to Sorbonne and whatched how close cars were parked. That was amazing! Who moves their car first? We had a beer and found out... The one shouting gets out first. Same as everywhere, still a great spectator sport! Walking by the Seine? Well, if you like the smell of urine, we just went with it! It's a thing you have to do. Parisien pee smells very close to Stockholm piss... We liked Paris (we stayed in a small hotel near Place de La Republique, lots of stairs, but nice, lovely staff. They spoke French, German, and English. And they all were lovely people working there). Hôtel 20 Prieuré! Recommended, if you can walk the stairs. Nice bakers around, and they helped us lots, not that we needed it, but they were lovely to have as hosts. And close to Bataclan if you want to put down a flower/bouquet, or just pay your respects. Also close to the a lovely place by the canal. Loved it! With reservations, as one does... ;-)
Ah, yes. Experimentation, the mother of interesting photography and loads of fun, especially in Paris. But geez, man, keep some of the secret spots in your pocket, please! Can’t make it too easy for the turistas. 😎
I'll be running the marathon pour tous at the olympics. If you're still in town, let's get together for a beer and some Mexican food. As a professional photographer it'd be cool to work on some stuff together too.
Hi Jay! How much of the Place du Trocadero is fenced for the Olympics? Can we still take a photo while posing on site? Appreciate if you could do a video for it 😊
Thanks for watching and supporting our channel! Find all these photo spots and so many more in my guide at parisinmypocket.com 🤩🤗

Like when they're cleaning the gutters? Bet that's cool in Montmartre!
@@paris.in.my.pocketPrecisely, it took a very late party and some early rising later, had to find the time when the when and where.

Hey! Jay is covering some construction progress over on his youtube (ua-cam.com/users/jayswanson) He hasn't yet done Trocadéro, but hopefully soon!
