Jim Shooter's place in Comics History is EPIC , and should Not be Over Looked .
His career is LEGENDARY!
When they talk about the "ages" of comics (Gold,Silver, Bronze, Dark, Zombie) I think there is an Age between the Bronze Age and the Dark Age, which I call the Shooter Age.
Jim, thank you. Without you, I don't see Marvel Comics reaching the 90s, much less Marvel Studios and Team Kevin Feige. If you grew up in the 90s and loved the animated X-MEN--if you enjoy the X-MEN brand--thank Jim Shooter. True, Shooter had been fired well-before that FOX X-MEN cartoon got produced, but without Shooter's tenure, MARVEL would have hardly survived the 70s much less the 80s. And you can forget about Kevin Feige and the greatest movie franchise in the history of cinema.
Jim is one of the greatest! Such a great era of Marvel under his leadership!

I'd give my left arm if Jim Shooter would take the EiC chair at Marvel again. The big two are so rudderless and just pumping out such weak garbage I've cancelled everything DC off my pull list and I've only got a handful of titles left from marvel still on there, and three of those are Aliens, Predator, and Planet of the Apes. The best comics of my life were all done when Shooter was in charge.
Jim Shooter was definitely a great editor/writer during his tenure. Would love to see him come back.
Best era of Marvel was under Jim Shooter. End of.
