I’ve worked for pretty much 80% of the bus companies in the UK, no matter how nice or friendly they seem at the start they are all the same and all resort in the same ending which is leaving then going on to the next one like its going to be better. What spoils the job and will always spoil it is the passengers , they don’t change no matter what the company. And like you said during the video the blatant disregard of passengers standing near the front door area of the bus happens no matter what company your in. Unfortunately its just not a good job anymore, but at least your happier for now!

Nice to see you are back and happier with your new company. When I worked in London, people standing on the platform and refusing to move was a pet hate of mine. Sadly, a minority of drivers let this happen and that makes it worse for the rest of us when we ask them to move. Keep up the good work.

Great to see you back at it and happy! I just wonder, how much different is company policy, because during your Stagecoach-time you always talked about the routes and stuff, whereas you can't mention the route now (although it didn't take an army to figure the route out anyway😅)?

In glad your liking the new job . I would like to ask an question I am not naming the company they are not in London . I recently got on a bus in front of me was a young man at first I thought he had an snake printed garment on but then realised it was in fact a Python it was moving on the guys shoulder. I didn't say anything but was left wondering what are the rules on transporting animals? I know about dogs been allowed and caged animals but the snake was not in a caged. It made that bus journey interesting to say the least😄.
Would you ever look to get a promotion to supervisor/management/driving instructor/controller? Also would ever consider coach driving?
Its like everyone is moving to Go-Ahead London because of the pay and the welcoming people. All these other bus companies should be worried right now because Go-Ahead London is getting so much employees.

Just take your time and listen to your instructor they are there to help you become the best bus driver you can be

Because they don’t want the company being brought into disrepute or employee’s sharing confidential information

For me it was doesn't mean it will be the same for other people
Why is it a secret what route you are on. At PD wasn't a problem
Because it’s part of the social media policy with the company I work with I have to respect that at the end of the day they pay my wages

I’ve just quit bus driving I don’t think is well paid or well appreciate it by public or companies you work for
It’s modern slavery you work so many hours for crap money the public r so rude as well no one respects
I wouldn’t recommend this job for anyone
