This is a weird question, but does anyone know if Mr. Sondheim went to either of the New York World’s Fairs (1939 and 1964)? He’s from a wealthy Manhattan family, so I’m guessing he went to both.
Staggeringly beautiful. Did Preminger have a crush on her or something? I can understand why, but still, throughout this whole clip, he’s talking her up, saying he wishes he were on her team, walking over to her at the end… It’s actually kind of cute, in an odd way.
Sondheim comes on at 19:37
Steven Sondheim played the game very well!! He even won!!
Somdheim appearing on any game show is priceless.
Sondheim appearing on ANYTHING is priceless.
"The Girls Upstairs" made it to stage years later as FOLLIES, though I'm sure those into Sondheim know that.
Aired December 25th, 1966.
The commercial was class!!
"class?" lol how so? 'cause it was in black and white/
Amazing!! I never knew it had a run on Sundays!! How long was that run?
I'm amazed that "Magnifying Glass" was accepted as a clue!
Upload more 1000 heartbeats!
