I’ve never sewn anything… ever! But I’m determined to learn. You explained everything perfectly!! I’ll be saving this for future reference. Thank you!!
Awe yay!! Good luck! Sewing is easier than you think. My projects are not perfect, but I love creating new things for our home. Thanks so much for watching! 💕
Honestly, you did an amazing job! It looks literally perfect in the video! 😍 I felt like at the end of this, you cannot find a better cushion for your chairs, it is really amazing!! 🙌 Thank you for the video ❤️
Hi. How did you come to the conclusion to sew the ties in at a 20 inch measurement from the top of your fabric because I thought your back measurement was 22 x 18. I am making some for my son and his fiancé for their birthdays and the chair that they have is really weird. The back of it measures from the top of the back measures down to 17 inches where the crack is 19 inches across and then the seat measures about 18 1/2 inches back to front and I believe it was 15 inches side to side so I’m not sure where to place the ties at.
Hi. Loved your video and you explained everything so precisely. I am wondering about the topper. I live in Colorado so our weather in the summer is up and down with rain. I don’t know if the topper you purchased is mildew and mold free so I am concerned about that with our weather. The Nufoam at Joanns is so expensive but I have used it outside before and it drys quickly from moisture. I am making cushions for my sisters chairs for her birthday coming up. The measurements of your chairs are the same as yours but I will probably purchase the Nufoam in 2” thickness. Would you mind figuring up the complete measurements for the 2” foam that I will be using. I figured it up but want to know if you came up with the same measurements as I did before I start this project. Thank you so much. Have a blessed day.
I don’t know about mildew and mold free, but I did use outdoor fabric which will wick away moisture. I also take them in when I know it will be wet. Hope that helps! 😊
Great job and video, just bought all the materials to make mine. Foam or mattress topper much more expensive here in Australia, but will still be cheaper and better than those in shops, I hope. Thank you for this great demonstration. X
Too Cool! With the cost of foam and material, it was looking cheaper to buy the cushions. I have the chair frames from a late friends estate. I picked up camo 11 ounce water resistant duck material, closeout at 2.98/yard. With the mattress topper foam I can do them on a budget. It beats putting zippers in. The only thing I can add is to reverse back over your straps for extra strength. Thanks Mike
I know this video is 3 years old, but it's exactly what I was looking for!!! Thank you for sharing how!!!👏👏😁
Beautiful work
Patio looks wonderful, so inviting and comfortable.

Great video, thank you for the great explanation.
One question. What kind of thread did you use. I'm learning and not a sewing person
