Have you checked that your hse is dry and the gutters are not blocked....blimey as well as batoning down the hatches..good luck with everything you two...I applaud you 🙏👻
So the grownups lied when they told us that "the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain"? That boat is beautiful and I love, love, love all of the woodwork inside.
Mr .Bonds boat looks brand new Graham ,you are a good friend and neighbour , not surprised Fiona is asleep bless her she has worked flat out for weeks now ,stay safe the pair of you xx
Hi Graham, it’s fantastic that yourself & Fiona can now sit in a dry & cosy boat & just relax during the monsoon downpours, the months of toil & hard work over the summer months & your recent window project have certainly been a huge success. You may be a bit restricted & bored, but you’re warm & dry!😊👏👏👏🙌 Good of you to check in on Mr Bond’s vessel, has he returned to dear old Blighty? It’s a beautiful boat, the wooden interiors are lovely 😍, whoever owns it, they’re very lucky folk. Hopefully Fiona’s sanding discs show up soon, the rain dries up & normal life & boat work can resume! RIP 🕯️🕊️ to the poor souls who’ve lost their lives in the horrendous floods & my sincere condolences to their families & loved ones who’ll be utterly devastated.😔💔 I agree Graham they need to get civil engineers & surveyors sorting out better flood defence systems, also planting more trees, it’s been proven that trees can absorb a huge amount of water in flooding conditions, also their roots make the surrounding ground/soil more permeable, so less water runs off the hills; but it would cost an absolute fortune to fully address the problem, will they invest in long term & viable preventative measures, that’s the sixty six million dollar question! They could apply to the EU for financial assistance to help, I know here in Scotland there were EU grants received many years ago to help build huge stretches of flood defence walls with flood gates across bridges that can be deployed when the rivers are likely to breech, it made a huge difference to the area where we had our business premises. Take care, God bless & hope you sleep well. xx 💕💞🩷💪
How extremely satisfying after that huge project you took on. Trevor is still waiting for his leak to be dealt with ,if your looking for a new project.😂
I live in a flat roof house and for 5y I was plagued with leaks and drips all year long until I fiberglassed, I've lived your nightmare and share in the relief you must now feel when it rains instead of dread. keep safe everyone 🙏 ❤ to you all.
Thinking of the people in Spain affected by the flooding…..such a terrible thing for you to go through….so very sad for you …love from Perth Western Australia
You and Fiona should be proud of your successful efforts in restoring your windows and successfully sealing each of them. Well done to both of you. Your vessel is quite large with many sleeping quarters-very impressive! It is very neat and looks quite comfortable. Clearly, it would take two to care for and run a vessel that large. Congratulations to you both. GG Texas.
There's a lot to be said for building your house on a hill... Needs bigger and better sewage pipes laid - it's like in the UK, too many houses being built and the infastructure for drainage isn't updated, still using Victorian pipework etc., ridiculous! There's saying on news the death toll in Spain is 158 people, but obviously still lots of people not accounted for. It's horrendous.
So glad all of your boat work paid off!! Glad you stayed dry, but sorry that so many haven't!! Thx for the update on everything!! Take care, Happy Halloween and have a good evening!
Having cabin fever is better than suffering what is happening in Valencia. Poor loves that is so aweful and sad. Hard to imagine that much rain falling in one day. Great job with Windows no leaks a huge relief. Love the sound of rain falling too, but give it respect as with the ocean. Stay safe❤
Graham, this quiet, nighttime chat with us was just perfect. Don't be concerned if it's enough or action-packed. Quiet, sober chat is sometimes good and welcome. Give Kitty-Puss-Puss a rub with her brush for me? There's a good man. G'night. ~West Virginia.
I like your moat and wall idea, i need it here for the same reasons, the water races down these hills. A great way to keep your riff raff out as well! Heheh
Thanks Graham for the video. It is a tragedy that so many lives were lost in Spain with these rains. God Bless you, Fiona and all of your loved ones. 🙏✝💛💚💙💜
That's a bit like your boat no leaks Graham not leaks at all!!😊i watch the news tonight and i pray for those poor people and the horror of all that water bless them
Hi Graham It’s so very satisfying when you repair or fix something. Hubby (Kev) was ecstatic yesterday when he finally found the problem of our small generator and it was working the water pump better than ever before Well done guys well done Fiona 👍 Mandy ❤
I watched a video by Steve Marsh who does these ferry trips all over Europe. A year ago he was on a bus that went past your marina, I recognised it. And he said 'this is the nicer part of La Linea' and then he went to the bus station and walked over the border to get his Easyjet flight to LGW.
Well you certainly are getting a good view of the rain through the new windows. Nice of you to check on your friends boat. Very sad to hear of the loss of lives in Spain. Thoughts & prayers to all their fsmilies ❤🙏🏼
I love this video. After that deluge I am SO pleased your boat is not leaking. Your efforts and workmanship is top notch. You both deserve to feel very proud of yourselves.
Yes. It looked really severe in Spain. All the deaths are terrible, and do they even have a full count yet? What a tragedy. When Hurricane Helene came through here, the creek behind my RV rose at least 10 feet in very few minutes. Had it not stopped when it did, it would have been here. It turned from a sleepy creek to a raging river, taking down trees and everything in its path. Had the rain not stopped when it did, the damn would have failed and who knows how much that would have taken out. As it was, the water took out a friend’s RV and everything she owned. Fortunately, she heeded the evacuation order. In the mountains around us, many people lost their homes and businesses to mudslides. Roads were totally washed out, and they were stranded. For days people couldn’t even get to them to deliver supplies. What was wonderful was seeing how much the communities came together to get supplies, such as water, to people. We were not the worst area hit. Starting about 15 miles to the west and continuing farther west, they were really devastated. Believe it or not, Musk was who stepped up to help with communication and supplies. The government was turning away help and supplies away, but he managed to work around them. We heard helicopters flying day and night for at least a couple of weeks providing supplies and trying to get to trapped people. I’d experienced hurricanes and flooding before, but I had never experienced anything like this before. It definitely showed me what water can do.
Graham, after the hurricane when they were looking at how to rebuild, their insurance companies told them it was not covered, because they consider a mud slide a flood. Since the people weren’t around any bodies of water and figured the water wouldn’t flood in the mountains, they hadn’t purchased flood insurance.
Yes it looks horrendous in and around Valencia I saw on Victor Larkhils channel he runs an animal rescue and their place was swamped the staff took video of and during the storm they are now cut off as bridge is gone Stay safe glad the boat is now not leaking at least xxx
Graham I've seen a flash flood going down the main street in Valletta and our car was bombarded by hailstones the size of a man's fist and had the dents to prove it.
Hello Graham, I Could Not Leave A Comment On Your Halloween Chat, l Loved When Fiona Talked About Her Knickers, In Dublin Ireland If You Were Going Out On Friday Night The Kids Would Say Have You Got Your Kinckers In Your Handbag Love!!!. 😂😂😂.
Well done. Its just as well you replaced the windows when you did. The rain hitting Spain just now is horrendous. So sad a large number of people lost their life. ❤ to everyone. Take care
I am i greece on a hill and we had two floods in 10 days in September last year...catastrophic to the towns and villages at the coast....what they did here was dig great big new watercourses following the paths the water took
Yes I caught the Halloween live, lots of fun good chat. I was carving my last pumpkin 🎃 before Trick or Treating. Here in Michigan the winter can be really cold, makes you want to stay in lol. 🇺🇸
Sewage and drains weak points in a walled city .... also, the shear force of the water will undermine the walls ... also, once you've built your wall ... what happens if you need more land to build houses and factories etc? ..
Luv the rain 🌧 🥰 but not the floods & catastrophes 🥹 Very very sad 😥 God rest their souls 🙏 Good man / friend Graham , are you boat sitting for Bondy ? 🤔 Is he gone home -uk or still in Spain ? Take care now 🤗
I don’t know if anyone has ever told you this before but the background rock we see in your background looks very similar to the background rock in Morro Bay, California. I live about a three hours from there. ❤ I wonder if the weather is similar too?

I was thinking that too! Thank heavens as well.

Graham, you’re such a thoughtful guy to go out in that weather to check on your friend’s boat. Cheers to you my friend.
Wow. You guys really battened down the hatches so to speak. It's really impressive.
Fiona has done an excellent job fair play to her. She’s a very hard worker. You should be very proud of her Graham. 😂😂
Don't underestimate the power of water. Be safe! ❤❤
That view, at night, in the rain is lovely!
Fiona is top notch at her waterproofing. Beautiful boat

The flooding in West N. Carolina was like that.
Gorgeous mahogany interior!
The rain in Spain, I thought it was mainly on the plain, obviously not. Someone had to say it. What a great friend you are checking on Mr Bond's boat.
The planes are just over the border, on Gib! 🙂
@hamshackleton Wrong plains.
@@evelyn2178 Haha - I know, you missed the joke.
@@hamshackleton Nah, just screwing with you, it was good, love a bit of banter.

That does surprise me....It could only be rain from the city though....not from the hills.

Pouring in Spain and not a drop for 30 days here in the Philadelphia area. Very unusual. I forget what it sounds like. Stay safe.

I always thought that the rain in Spain fell mainley on the plain? Stay dry and healthy my friend.
The rain in Spain is mainly a pain (and in Queensland) 😂
Please take care ❤️❤️🇦🇺🇬🇧🥂
I’m actually worried for you guys. ❤️
Very fine! Audrey Hepburn would be very pleased. The rain in Spain !!!! ❤️
I bet you wish your boat was as water proof as Mr. bonds. He sure has a nice vessel.
Yes it is a very nice boat. They are waiting for the weather then it is going to the Canary islands.
Hi Graham that is great news.I am in hospital since this morning,so think of me please😊
Hope it all goes well.
🌟🌟🌟
Over 200 dead now Graham. 😢
Very sad indeed.
Graham did y’all ever find out what happened with that bus?
The truck came and took it away, I am guessing it was diesel and had a fuel leak onto the engine.
And I thought rain on the US Gulf Coast was bad. At least it's flat here
Rest up it will clear and u kiddies can work on the windows again. ❤️🌷
Hi Graham 👋
❤❤

More of a storm drain than a moat...Cities are always expanding and thought needs to go into where! Most of Spain is vast and uninhabited.
Luv the rain 🌧 🥰
but not the floods & catastrophes 🥹
Very very sad 😥
God rest their souls 🙏
Good man / friend Graham , are you boat sitting for Bondy ? 🤔
Is he gone home -uk or still in Spain ?
Take care now
🤗
Mr Bond’s boat is lovely! How long is she?
I think it is about 40 foot.
Hi Graham. Do you have a weather station on your yacht?
Not yet but I have been looking at them. I do have good internet.
I don’t know if anyone has ever told you this before but the background rock we see in your background looks very similar to the background rock in Morro Bay, California. I live about a three hours from there. ❤ I wonder if the weather is similar too?
I just looked on Google maps. Gibraltar is 1500ft high and 3 miles long. Population of 30K people.
How much does a boat like that one of Mr bonds cost?
I would guess 40K ish
@BaronFlyingClub I'll have to win the lottery. Having a boat and plane have always been my dream.
I don’t have a like button on your screen.
