I've watched your 2 videos on tanking now, and as a returning WoW player (only played very casually in TBC, WoD, & Legion) and not really having tanked M+ much, it is so refreshing to see this type of content where you showcase the struggles and the learning path step by step. Hey, just in case you didnt know. What helped me alot while learning bear tank is, that you instantly gain 30 rage if you shapeshift inbetween pulls. Maybe you allready knew this, but better be safe then sorry. Great videos btw, keep it up. :)
14:55 You have both incarn and survival instincts available and zero stacks of ironfur, and you died to a tank buster. Mage made a sus play but instead of immediately excusing yourself of all blame you should evaluate what you could have done.
main tank here and to hit defensive cds is how you live! like i see alot of prot warriors hit shield wall after they hit 20% life its a mitigation not a heal! and you should use incarnate on cd and do large pulls with it!
7 stacks of ironfur is a bit extreme, except during Incarn when you should have tons of extra rage. It will also put you at the armor cap, so 7 is more like a maximum than an average. Also - for the Ara Kara last boss, if you get stranded without a pool, you can charge out at the last second if you time it right (and have a charge target). It's unfortunately not as reliable as warrior leap or DK death's advance, because of the limited range and minimum range, but it's worth a try in an emergency! Basically you need to still be moving when the final pull-in happens.
You can also drop bear form into human form and use wild charge. This will pull you to an ally player in a way that is similar to when a priest pulls you to safety. So target an ally, drop bear form into human and then wild charge to a close ally at the right moment. That will avoid the issue of an enemy target dying or going out of range
You should really be incarning On CD basically unless you know you're gona pull big next pull or something. It comes off CD superquick From rage spent.

8:15 well said. Cooldowns are for sending. I definitely don't press Revival enough

Haha I actually ended up turning on the health and resource bar during the last couple keys so I could have my health bar in the middle of my screen

2-3 stacks are good 3-5 when you have lots of trash or taking large amounts of physical from a boss anything over you are hitting DRs
