Dude! Sick video. Been pushing into mytics now with bear, and I LOVE it. That vortex + typhoon trcik was neat AF! will use that GJ on the video and thank you for you insight!
This is a fantastically well made guide, thank you for this. I recently swapped from prot warrior to druid because I wanted a range dps option in my class. So far I'm having a really hard time to stay afloat and my healer has to work over time. With the same Ilvl as my warrior, I have it rough on 5's as guardian, while I was doing 7's consistently as prot warrior. So there must be something I'm doing wrong. But I can't figure out what. Because I follow this guide to the minute. It could be a stat thing though I suppose. Because I was first gearing up balance I'm more into haste/mastery atm, not gotten a lot of verse pieces yet, so hopefully once I get more verse it will get less hectic :)
So you don´t really use Maul with Elune´s Chosen? Is it worth more to always use Ironfur for mitigation/CDR/Thorns of Iron? Seems like you could macro Ironfur to Mangle or something.
You are a wealth of knowledge and the community is better off with you. With that being said, you speak so fast that its hard to register what youre saying a lot of times. I have to play on a lower speed or rewind what your just said quite often. Just my 2 cents, thank you for all the work.
incarn is GREAT, but when i don't have incarn, AOE agro is a issue, it just does not seem to be enough aoe damage/taunting to be able to keep control on all the pulls. Literally when i am going through a dungeon i feel relaxed when i have incarn before the next pull. And on the pulls i don't have incarn i am totally stressed out and have mobs running all over the place one shotting people etc
I'd say spam Mangle, Thrash and IF (with occasional FR when needed). The moonfire procc should automatically get consumed if it proccs another time (as long as there are at least 2 targets available) so you don't have to manually press it afaik.
As a healer I hate healing a druid tank compared to others, not sure if self healing isnt strong or what it is. Just seems others are better at DPS and self healing. I get a DK and i barely gotta heal the tank
Guardian is like one of the most self sustaining tanks out there right now, I'll often be out healing the healer in overall, so you're probably just healing bad tanks. They are notably squishy on pulls without rage and vs heavy magic damage, but by notably squishy I mean they might finally need the healer to help them rather than being immortal and self sustaining vs physical trash.
The infomation is good, but can you please ease up on the camera spining and movement during the video, its very distracting to have the background unter the talents flying all over the shop in random directions.
As a bear you are naturally bored as all hell. The random jumping spinning and sheer roundabout perversion is all indicative of high lvl bear play, for you are (as said prior), bored out of your fucking mind.
You can moonfire your current target and itll copy to one that hasnt got a moonfire on them. So keep spamming moonfire on that one single target and all targets close to it will get it one by one too. And yes its important since they generate rage so you can cast ironfur etc more often
@@RidoDrago So I should cast moonfire on the enemy which has no moonfire dot so that I can spam moonfire faster like two by two? or one by one is fast enough?
@@wintertale. yes, casting it on one that hasnt will vast the second passive/ free one also on one that hasnt gotten one yet. That is the fastest way yes and is adviced. But like you asked and dont want to bother much, you can just spam it on the one and same target to get the rest of the pack. Please try this with dummies close to eachother, not sure about TWW dummies yet since i didnt need to use em yet, but in DF you can use Valdrakken near the PvP vendor. But be adviced, the fastest way described above requires you to look at all the health bars and pick the one that hasnt gotten a moonfire yet, which is more tedious than just cycle through targets/ target next target hotkey. Long story short, i too dont bother cycling through targets and just spam moonfire on the same target.
Skyfury definitely has good synergy with dotc however a lot of the testing on beta was done with skyfury and dotc still didn't seem to be consistent enough to survive in high keys.
How do I taunt and keep aggro with it? We only have that single taunt ability and when I do follower dungeons the dps npcs keep stealing aggro 😂maybe my dmg is just too low
Content wise a fantastic video, but would you please stop jumping around like you stepped on a lego? This diverts my concentration from the great information you provide. Thanks.
If only every in-depth class guide was around 10 minutes long.. looking at you sunfury arcane mage ( over an hour guides ) like wtf are you doing blizzard
Less bad than before since we don't need to pool rage to time wildfire procs anymore but still not ideal because you can starve yourself out of having rage for bres or frenzied regen. Also sometimes you want to pool rage to spread ironfurs out in times of rage starvation.
Are you sure elunes chosen is tankier? Druid of the claw has defensive benefits as well and they arent directly comparable. Also, druid of the claw doesnt have to play raze, as it gets ravage. Your build here also does terrible dps, and makes some choices that seem to be only in the interest of making the spec easier to play. Thats fine to reccomend for newer players, but you should probably investigate further as people look up to you for your opinion.
So like I've tested all the tanks on beta and now have them all at 80 on live. This build is nutty damage overall..... Single target isn't good but he does give an option if you want more single target in the video. All said wait for M+ to come out and meet me here again and say druid of the claw is "better" and Elune does "terrible" dps. Also if you have half a brain go watch his beta videos and you get to see the damage of the class in M+ and how much healing the arcane build provides. GREAT VIDEO YODA
He literally gives multiple options for different talent builds that give more dps, while mentioning his default build sacrifices DPS for extra survivability either for newer players OR higher keys/dangerous encounters, which is sort of important given the tank survivability nerfs in the pre-patch.
@@Deserters Who are you arguing with? I didn't say anything about druid of the claw being better, in fact I didn't even say "better" despite you quoting it for some reason. The only points of mine you addressed (terrible dps) you agreed its terrible and said that you would have to choose other talent options to improve the ST. All I am asking is for him to put a little more effort into getting things right and exploring more options. He is a good player and can easily put in the time to make a more researched video.
@@DooksWoW I agree with everything but the high key part. His build also sacrifices lots of survivability solely for comfort and ease of play. If tank survivability is so important, there are quite a few talents to consider here that were either not mentioned or dismissed entirely (scintilating moonlight, ursocs fury, tooth n claw, after the wildfire, dream of cenarius, pulverize).
Scintillating moonlight is actually mentioned as a tradeoff with rots, but I prefer rots. Pulverize/UFR are not worth mentioning with EC as thrash doesn't really do enough to make UFR a consideration and pulverize is just too expensive point wise.
You re jumping around while explaining a sht load of stuff… I am total beginner and I am sorry to say that I am now even more confused. I know I shouldn’t watch m+ stuff as a beginner but I thought I could grab one or two keystones. Visualizing what you’re saying with basic edits of spells pictures or examples should have been way better imo.
wish more rank 1 capable players made videos like this for every class and spec

Great guide very strait forward
Thanks for this, looking forward to the pally one.
I prefer primal fury over Heart of the Wild / Innervate. The 20% Mangle crit damage is just a passive nice to have.
Hey, thanks man, great guide! I really like bear, just every time I look at the talent trees I get mad at just how bad their design is :D
They took every aspect of a prot warrior and just made it shittier and bandaid slapped self healing over it.
Enjoyed all of these guides so far, thanks for all the work and test YoDa! Are you planning on doing one for warrior as well? That'd be awesome!
Hey Yoda, I found it funny, we were using the exact same build. 😅 Great video as usual!
Ty for the guide!

Thank you Mr yoda
Finally DH has been unseated as the best tank.
Needs an update with Elune's chosen being the suboptimal spec for all but m+ (and only on par there)
great video!

Hi, thanks for the video! Can you suggest addons for tanks?
can somebody tell me please how the weakaura calls that tell me how much mana my healer has?
is there any reason not to macro ironfur to rotational buttons?
Hi, if you drop raze - what is your rotation inside incarn? Good guide btw!

you didn't talk about maul??? what am i supposed to do with maul?
Hey, what aadon shows ur item stats and enchants in char window
Yoda then what is best tank in m+? Dk??
Can you do warrior next?

Try healing a DK in higher keys. Healers don't want to actually heal tanks no more. They are too used to shadowlands,
@@Dragron01 Bro this was 2 months ago relax
@ChayBenji ma'am you should chill
Any opinion on dropping rage off the sleeper for better talents? It seems so weak compared to many other talents now.
Bears biggest weakness is on pull, so Rage allows you to be basically immortal on pull every minute.
if im playing with a shaman doesn't DotC become more consistent?
