    The sleep function reminds you to go to rest/sleep after you drive a certain distance that you preset

    I'll try it on my 2015 Honda Accord Sport. I purchase it on eBay, 2 days ago. Hopefully it will work. Thanks so much. Love your review.

    it's work very good on my 2015 Honda Accord Sport. Sometimes I am at a stop, it's say 0.0 mph. Thanks

    @dial2fast the reading that you get at a stop isn't the miles per hour it's the miles driven that particular driving session. On my unit it seems to switch back and forth when I'm stopped and then switch to mph when I get going again. I also do notice it is rather sluggish retrieving data from the onboard computer as the rev counter skips and there are large gaps in the mph counter during hard acceleration.

    Nice, clean review.
    Do you know if they make a similar plastic screen with suction cups for the 3" unit instead of sticking the thinner one permanently to the windshield?

    Thanks for your review, I'm very interested in purchasing this HUD but it all out of stock now. another thing is I don't see there is a reflective plastic piece with suction cups in the Package contents that you show us in the review. And I saw people write below "there are large gaps in the mph counter during hard acceleration" is that true?

    I was interested in purchasing this but i dont want it to say 3.3 mph when i am at a stop. Thats a big bug.

    • @dial2fast
      @dial2fast  8 років тому

      +MrRangerZr1 I agree. Before noticing this issue, I was going to announce this is my favorite HUD because of the brightness and clarity and simplicity. It's small annoyance, but I will let the viewers decide.

      dial2fast Have you tried tweaking the settings to fix it?

    • @dial2fast
      @dial2fast  8 років тому

      +MrRangerZr1 The only tweak is the accuracy of the speed reading. If I change that from the default of 100% then the speed reading will be off. Also every time you drive, the stopped reading can sometimes be 0.6 or 3.3 or 2.8, it's not always the same number, so any calibration will not fix it.

      @drebniqvreden 8 років тому +3

      i think the "software issue" you had it not reading out 0 mph is because it switches to miles driven from your current mph i think you didn't notice the mph switching to m when you stopped

    • @zoolander0700
      @zoolander0700 6 років тому +1

      Yup, you're definitely right. I watched it after reading this and noticed it changed from MPH to M

    Surely the whole purpose of such a device should be to provide ACCURATE diagnostic data that is in sync with 'actual' car performance.
    I am guessing though that for some it's just a colourful light giving the impression their car is 'sporty' or better than it actually is. If that's the case, then that's 'tacky' and sad.

    Where can I find the plastic reflector by itself? I bought a similar car head-up display but it only includes the sticker kind of reflector, I'd like it to be adjustable/removeable.

    Did you say OBD1 port? If yes is there a cable available and what are the reading it will show?

    Do you think this unit is better than the A8? And if the speed issue is fixable by a software update how can you download the update?

    • @dial2fast
      @dial2fast  8 років тому

      These units can't be flashed at home. The manufacturer will have to fix it in there next release.

    its OBDII not OBD. misleading

    • @raulferro3998
      @raulferro3998 8 років тому +1

      It has an OBD port, but the cable has the standard OBDII 16 pin connector, but if you get the OBD to OBDII converter this will be able to communicate with your older car's ECU.
