I have an Acer Nitro 5 for about 6 years now and I never had any issues with it. It is time for a change and I am looking into Acer again, given my good experience. New projects coming up, I am not gaming any more. And I am starting to edit videos. For a similar price, what could be other laptops similar to Acer - Predator Helios Neo 16 2023 generation?

sorry Uncle, loads of previously baaaad experiences with Acer mean I steer WELL CLEAR of anything with their badge on it - would've been nicer to see non-Acer products included to avoid feeling of 'infomercial' 😢

I always hear this. Especially with HP Laptops despite me and some of my workmates have HP Laptops that we have been using for 7+ years...
Some people genuinely dont know how to take care of their stuff and when their devices break down, they blame it on the brand

PSA: Don't buy a gaming Laptop with the 4070. It's a garbage GPU, rarely more than 10% faster than a 4060 equipped laptop with full wattage, has the same crummy 8GB of VRAM, and is usually anywhere between £300-£500 more expensive. NOT WORTH IT.
Get a 4060 laptop or save up for a bit longer and get a 4080 equipped laptop which will be upto 50% faster in games.
How are 3050 and 4050
@@dmmpgwell I got a 4050 and it is pretty good at most AAA games on 1200p on my predator neo 16. If you have a higher budget get the 4060 otherwise the 4050 is no slouch.
The difference between ry. 4060 and 4070 is 200 euros is worth to pay it

Usually a “sponsor” is not the subject of the review. This is what you call an advertisement…
Only 2-3 UA-cam creators have non-sponsored Windows reviews. It is unfair because Apple doesn't pay, they get bashed, yet because Intel, Nvidia, et al. get their chequebooks out, we must put up with these 10-minute ads when looking for a balanced review. It means money for creators to buy Apple stuff to flex on. Still, it creates a distorted reality where people are fed marketing material rather than objective reviews.
We are at the point where YT needs to label sponsored reviews specifically and put them in a separate area for those just looking for ads.

what happened?
I've had 1 acer gaming laptop , lasted 6 years , so before you say something like that, try to give a brief description.
Overheating as brand new, problems with internet connection because of antena problems from the box brand new (global), it`s heating up so much when you play games you can`t even touch the keys without burning your self. Softwear bugs and problems.
