Hi Tina!! I was hoping you would talk more about what happened with chantel the doula? I thought she would be staying with you for the first year of lylas life.
I swear you two are so elegant and kind when it's about personal questions. I don't think I've ever felt so much comfort in two people I've watched on the internet.
My daughter was the chillest baby. Rarely cried, EVERYONE commented on what a laid back baby she was. Now as a 3 year old she's a crazy little tornado. I love it, she's fun, but I definitely sometimes go "what the heck happened to my super chill baby??"
Same to the baby part for me, my mom always said I was a very quite baby to the point it gave her anxiety that she’d have to wake up several times a night to check on me 😅 (I’m the 2nd child out of 4). My little sister (child #3) was the complete opposite 😅.
Omg this is my now 3.5 yr old. Born June 2019, and I tell you, it was so nice having her at that time during the pandemic so no one was trying to bother you. Now tho, post pandemic life eith s toddler, it sucks. She's a crazy energetic only child with not that many outlets bcuz of "covod policies". Ugh
Today is another episode of things older sister tina will tell us that people don't tell women for god knows what reason and then we're all unprepared and scared when random things happen that weren't mentioned in any books or any conversations, but are totally normal apparently Thank you for being open, it's a genuine help, everyone should be able to make informed decisions about something as life and body altering as pregnancy and having a baby
Having a child means all the joy in the world even if you're sleep deprived. That single sudden smile from our babies takes all the bad vibes away. Good to see you having fun while in motherhood. May your baby be safe and be always healthy 💕
thanks so much for being honest! so tired of people having kids and then being smug and condescending about it and how it’s only been amazing for their marriage like girl, be real
I really really appreciated this video, They aren’t a lot of us that can get on UA-cam and talk about our babies or sex life after baby. It’s great that I have somebody that I can watch that can relate to what we went through as we go about being parents with a new baby and the stages that they go through. I wish more parents would do this, so more first time parents would watch as they get prepared for bringing a new life into this world. It isn’t easy but the memories and the journey to raising of beautiful family is totally awesome. I hope you guys have a great journey making memories with your family. ❤

So relatable! Our baby is 7 months old. It’s so hard to prioritize the relationship when there is a tiny human that needs care 24/7. Hopefully we can put us first more as baby gets older. Happily together parents means happy baby :)
Omg. This is the most entertaining Q&A i have ever seen. Honestly, I just love how real Tina and Alfred are ❤️ Tina should update her channel to Tina Yong Keeps It Real. Apart from this video too, all your tins tries it video's and the cooking ones you don't try to hide your body flaws and it's just empowering. I absolutely love your channel! 💯
It makes me laugh how awkward Alfred is when Tina goes on talking about Chris Haemorrhoids. Thank you for keeping it real and answering these questions 🥰
Thank you for being so open and honest! It's lovely to see you both be comfortable with communicating the truth to each other as well. Hope you all have a lovely break
When my husband and I became parents for the first time we made sure we went ok a date at least once a month or eat together when baby is down for a nap. Make time for each other is always one of the best things you can do for your family .
I'm not a mom, but I did lose quite a bit of hair after covid and another health issue. The biggest thing that's helped me is using a mix of pumpkin seed oil, jojoba oil, rosemary oil, and mint oil. It stopped a majority of the excess shedding after maybe 3-4 weeks, and I'm starting to see a lot more new growth at the 6 month mark. It'll take time but I'm sure your hair will come back eventually anyway, and I think the tall baby hair look is cute!
@@michioka You would do it about 2-3 hours before you wash your hair. But if you're like me and only wash it once a week, I use it as my scalp oil, and 3 hours before on my wash day. Using Rosemary oil 4-5 times a week gives the best results, but that would mean more frequent hair washing depending on how much you already do it. I use it on my eyebrows about every other day before showers though. Also make sure you look up dilution rates for the essential oil, personally I use about 30 drops for every 30 ml, but you might use more or less depending on how sensitive your skin is
You have both help SO many people who feel so lost in the weeds & have so many questions they are afraid to ask or don't get real (Tina Real!) answers for. Thank you!!!
It is comforting to know it’s not just us.. we’ve recently had our baby, she is now 8mo (premie) and we’ve been so busy with the baby that our time for each other has declined. And it’s nice to know that this is absolutely normal as long you communicate with each other.
Omg I have the same hemorrhoid! Still there 3 years later 😂. Loved this video. Thank you for being so honest. There’s so much pressure as a parent and hearing things like bedtime varies and you cosleep is refreshing
Omg yes to all of that! My daughter is 3.5 now ans bed time varies and we still so sleep. Ugh. We have been trying to get her to sleep in her own bed since she was about 2. She's a very active sleeper and I'm tired of getting kicked!
It's seems like they had everything planned . Everything seems so perfect. They are so mature and they are just so understanding to each other.I love them .theya re so inspiring❤️
I found out that I am pregnant on Wednesday. I am kind of excited about this journey but also I don’t feel anything lol. Haven’t told anyone except my bf. Your videos about birth and pregnancy really helps me a lot. Thank you so much❤
My baby just turned 6 months and it’s nice to hear I’m not alone in a lot of the things I’m experiencing 🙌🏼 thanks for being so honest and not sugar coating anything! Just a PSA on the hair loss by the way, unfortunately you cannot do anything to stop it.. it’s a (although HORRIBLE) natural consequence to the hormonal changes. Your hormones during pregnancy basically press pause on your hair loss, so when it resumes it all sheds at the same time where it would normally be more gradual. In most women the heavy shedding stops after 4-5 months and your hair should be back to normal after about a year. I think I’ve lost about half of my hair at this point 🥲 but I’m definitely doing everything I can to make it grow back quicker like you mentioned! Bring on those baby hairs 😜
@@rinim00n51 I don’t have a lot of hair either, but luckily you barely use any during pregnancy so you build up quite a reserve ;) my hair hasn’t looked that good in years 😂 and just hold on to the thought that it will grow back eventually 😊
Thank you for sharing your story, and not trying to sugar coat anything! It’s so relatable! I experienced almost everything you talked about.. it was entertaining to watch 😊
I really like the fact they are open about it and that they actually answer. This is so important to know before, we are all different but somethings like not having time and energy must be the same. Its good to know how it works for real people.
Tina you are beautiful and your baby hairs are so cute(: I recently had a baby as well (Oct. 15th) and I can't believe how fast time is flying! But nonetheless the changes in our bodies' are nothing to be ashamed of so I really appreciate yours and Alfred's honesty when answering these questions. I wish you and your family well :)
I my god,I love you guys, I’d wish you had your baby before me and see this interview 6 years ago 😂 You are right on so many levels, with sleep deprivation, sex, sleep training and all of that. And we also had our moments when we were asking ourselves if we did right to have a baby. It all works out as long as you communicate, help and love each other like in the beginning. Kisses and merry Christmas 🎄🎁
You are like a Rodger-Rachel Zoe tandem! Rodger was more behind the scenes but definitely helped Rachel grow her brand and happy to see her shine. Hopefully you'll have more time for each other when Lyla grows up. More power guys! 💕
It is so refreshing to hear you co-sleep. I feel like there is a lot of pressure to sleep-train your baby, and co-sleeping is kind of demonized, even though it can be done safely. I tried sleep training with my first child, it was hell. Didn't even try with my second, just went to co-sleeping straight away. My first-born started sleeping in her own bed when I stopped breastfeeding at 2 yo, I hope for the same with my youngest too.
I love that you guys are so open! Yeah nipples are changed after breastfeeding, they do not go back to pre-pregnancy looks and structure. I’m dying over your Chris Hemorrhoids comments. 😂. You’re lucky that your mom is there to help with Lyla. “Mama!” Omg so cute!!! Btw your studio Christmas tree is so cute and aesthetic!
Gosh I love that we had babies so close together 😂 cause every time you post anything after-baby videos, I relate to you SO MUCH! So I find myself nodding and laughing along with you and Alfred 😂 Sending you guys a big hug Tina! 🤍
Very refreshing video. We're similar in age to you both. We're expecting our first baby in June, so this video is really helpful and sets very realistic expectations. Can you please do a video on what baby equipment is worth getting and what you thought wasn't necessarily?
I don't why but you all make me feel like I am a part of your family 🤌🥺 Thankyou dear I hope that you spent your holiday very cheerfully ❤️ Ik that Lyla is going to be a kind girl just like you too ❣️
THe way I took care of my baby hairs are I used gel to put the baby hairs down… Love you guys ❤ I have 2 kids over 10 now. Please don’t wait too long to have your 2nd child. The closer the better… My kids are a year apart. It wasn’t planned😂 surprised us but I was so happy. My husband wanted to wait few years.
I have come to love Tina so much... Everything abr her feels so relatable and genuine. I really love yr every sort of video... I love the way you are.. tht makes yr videos so good ❤️
I really love this video so much. I have a 3 year old and I would have needed this video when I was pregnant so I would know what to expect and not be constantly clueless and overwhelmed because I compared myself to the happy pink bubble families on the internet that have everything under control. I had my life under control before having a baby and the first couple of months were so exhausting for this reason - your baby has you under control 😅. With a child, you really learn so much about yourself and it is challenge every day - but also a opportunity to grow.
A hair wax stick will help with your hair. You can find them in any beauty supply store or online. You can also try hair growth oil to help restore your hair. I recommend Kaleidoscope Miracle Drops the extra strength.
Speaking of TMI, you mentioned pantyliners for discharge. I wore the disposable ones for years and found them irritating. I recommend the reusable period or wee undies or maybe reusable liners instead. I find them kinder to your skin.
My husband & I had the easiest baby girl ever. She rarely cried, slept easily (we co slept so I’m sure it would have been more difficult if we didn’t) and essentially set her own schedule. I’m fully expecting our next to be a little demon. But with that said, I wouldn’t wish to ever go back to the newborn stage. It was a blur. Age 9 months to 2 years have been the most fun and happiest times of our lives. We don’t have any help with family nor caregivers so I work every single weekend while she stays home with her dad. There is a strain on the relationship and intimacy but every relationship has up’s and down’s, baby or not. You aren’t always going to be head over heels with your partner, especially after 10 years. But staying committed and a family unit is always most important. Thank you for your honesty 💜
I jsut feel like Tina is my big sister now for some reason cos I've been watching your vids since like 2015-16 and now im literally watching u talk about life after a baby... its jsut so surreal and I've def adopted layla as my nibling
“If I didn’t have to feel for him, I wouldn’t know he is there” 🤣 I’ve always loved and appreciated your honesty. Thanks Alfred for joining today :) and damn. Zenn isn’t Alfred’s sister?! hahaha
I had my first child at 19, he is turning 21 in January. I'm still car believe it, the time has gone so fast. I love being a young Mum and there is a downside, I was completely unprepared financially and I was very immature, I wish I knew then what I know now, but that saying goes with most things in life.
I know you didn't ask for it but... In my opinion the best time to have a second kid is best aligned with school... In my country schooling is 8+4, so best is 4 year difference but if the schooling is 6+3+3 maybe 3 year difference between kids...
I am surprised that how your Q&A video desbribed my life. From breastfeeding to co-sleep and imiting stuffs, i felt like i am not alone😊 thank you for sharing. From Finland with love♥️
Oh oh! For hair loss issues, I used argon oil and Hers shampoo and omggg my hair growth journey has been amazing! My hair ove 2 days was just like your hair now in this vid 😊
Ahh that’s so funny you’re talking about help with the kids! Because I was an Au-pair in Australia in Sydney living with the family helping with some housework as well and I met so many other au pairs and nanny’s! I feel like every other family I know/ friends of the kids etc everyone had help from a nanny or a live in au pair because day care is so expensive here and most family’s have a spare room as well. But it probably depends on your living situation. Just stepped over your channel and I love your openness and kindness and realness!😍
When your little girl gets older I'm sure she'll look just as beautiful as mamá Tina, also if you ask me I'd say your pretty good parents so far and to tell the truth I'd say Tina found herself a top notch husband and the baby has herself a couple of top notch parents. Keep up the great work and I'll be playing for both of you 🙂
Omg Tina my husband and i went through the same exact situation with my baby boy 😅 i cant believe we're not the only ones who went through all of that haha.
Just seeing your little hairs stick up gives me flashbacks lol😂 about 3 months after birth my hair started falling out and left me with that exact same look!!
Loved this video! You guys are so cute!! Random tip take it or leave it, but something that helps with postpartum regrowth if you want it to stay down is eyebrow gel with the brush and it looks like the rest of your hair :))) Your baby hairs are so cute though 💕💕
Hello Tina, loved your video and the honesty you telling here in the video. Can you do tutorial for the hair growth. I see a-lot of your baby hair. I’m losing hairs I try lot of brands didn’t work for me 😢
Hi Tina, love your videos!! ❤ FTM here and EDD is end July. Have been watching your pregnancy related videos. Do you mind sharing what’re the hair products and herbs you use to combat hair thinning or hair loss?☺️ I currently have very thin hair and super worried i’ll be bald losing hair post partum 😢
Thank you so much for sharing and the laughs lol I love that you both are so open with these topics! I feel like I can relate. Watching this video as I breastfeed my 3 month old son lol btw your hair is so cute! 😂
TMI. I'm 4 months pp, breastfeeding and the dryness part is so confusing because i have A LOT of discharge, using legit period pads, metallic musty lochia smell is not gone, google says lochia should be gone long ago, but I really smell it... Doc said I'm fine.. Also static pain 24/7 in the outer bits just standing, walking, doc couldn't find other reason than guessing it could be hormones causing this due to breastfeeding. But I still want to breastfeed. Dryness pain is way better with lube, tho I almost cried the first time postpartum. I'm the most concerned for the insane discharge and static pain, it makes me feel unclean all the time.. I really don't like being "padded up" everywhere in my body to hold the leaks lol
Has your doctor checked you for BV? I had the same issue for a LONG time, and it wasn't until I got a new doctor and asked about it did I get diagnosed with BV. Short stint of antibiotics later and things are back to normal! Get a second opinion if you can!
@@haggardtrish I did blood, pee and vaginal discharge checked in the lab. I was clear :/ and my doc gave me antibiotics just in case, i took them, had insane digestive side effects which sadly affected my milk supply, but everything else remained the same :( sometimes i start overthinking if I have some kind of undiscovered sickness and I'll just die lol

You gained à followers cuz of how real you guys are. I relate with so much of what you said
A hair wax stick will help with your hair. You can find them in any beauty supply store or online. You can also try hair growth oil to help restore your hair. I recommend Kaleidoscope Miracle Drops the extra strength.
Thanks for the recommendation!
My situation was very similar to yours. My baby is now 3. It DOES get better and easier. Definitely. Hang in there ❤️
Speaking of TMI, you mentioned pantyliners for discharge. I wore the disposable ones for years and found them irritating. I recommend the reusable period or wee undies or maybe reusable liners instead. I find them kinder to your skin.
but i still cant get over how cute Tina's hair look on top. reminds me of lil fuzz from baby animals in their glorious fluffy stage.
I love how you talk about these medical things! Like we need to know!
“If I didn’t have to feel for him, I wouldn’t know he is there” 🤣 I’ve always loved and appreciated your honesty. Thanks Alfred for joining today :)
and damn. Zenn isn’t Alfred’s sister?! hahaha
"Chris Hemorrhoid" 🤣
Leave it to Tina to make us laugh and have a great time watching her videos.
It's really sweet to see you guys. you guys are really awesome and it's quite sad that the bubble[brother-sister] busted... lots of love to lyla💕💕💕💕
I had my first child at 19, he is turning 21 in January. I'm still car believe it, the time has gone so fast.
I love being a young Mum and there is a downside, I was completely unprepared financially and I was very immature, I wish I knew then what I know now, but that saying goes with most things in life.
Thanks for sharing your journey
My hair ove 2 days was just like your hair now in this vid 😊
omg your baby hair after maternity is so CUTEEEEE!!!
Everything is so true 100%. We had the same situation/feelings with our first child. OMG it was so difficult.
Happy holidays to both of you!!
We all agree that Tina and Alfred is the best couple ✨✨✨💛💛
i LOVE these videos! i’m a few years out from baby and real adulting time but these are really informative videos on what someone could expect
Just stepped over your channel and I love your openness and kindness and realness!😍
i know you might be self conscious but the baby hair is honestly really cute, it’s very youthful if that makes sense
Aww NOO i wanted zenn to be Alfred's sister 😩😭.
Tina your baby hairs are so cute 😍
Just seeing your little hairs stick up gives me flashbacks lol😂 about 3 months after birth my hair started falling out and left me with that exact same look!!
Loved this video! You guys are so cute!! Random tip take it or leave it, but something that helps with postpartum regrowth if you want it to stay down is eyebrow gel with the brush and it looks like the rest of your hair :))) Your baby hairs are so cute though 💕💕
Omg that last question. It was on my mind the whole video 😂
The cat is indeed out of the bag!
Lol I love these kind of videos. Love the rawness and transparency!

Thank you so much for sharing and the laughs lol I love that you both are so open with these topics! I feel like I can relate. Watching this video as I breastfeed my 3 month old son lol btw your hair is so cute! 😂
Wow !! I was 100% convinced alfred and zen were siblings
