I really feel as though Kira deserves to be higher on the list simply because in comparison to most companions, she shows the most character growth overall. I still remember having a few gripes about her at first before I had to rescue Master Kiwiks from Tatooine.
Kaliyo is the dark side agent just without imperial ties, and seeing as the whole story quest is based around cipher 9 being fucked over by imperials i think she fits well with the class.
Just quickly talking about quinn. His betrayal makes more sense on a light side warrior. By that point you would have made deals that killed hundreds of imperial troops, and aided the republic. And he says as much, so its a bit more beliavable that he would be turned by someone claiming to be the voice of the emperor.
That + again, Quinn was gaslit. People often don't understand how effective gaslighting actually is to the point it can even throw off the most rational person.
For me Koth was just too much of an Asshole. He stole the Gravestone, always smarted off to me and annoyed me until I killed him. Also I was romancing Lana and he kept shooting off at the mouth and said I did not deserve her. I killed Quinn because he betrayed me. Yes he was a fool. He is a dead fool. Vette is great and the smartest AI as she will not stand in the red spots. I am really starting to like Lokin as a healer. Not because he is better. But because he is a real doctor and fits the role. But what I have found is the best tanking companion is the cartel market D-R3D. He seems to have the same kill time as a tank as he is as a healer or DPS.
I was suprised to see no dislikes on a topic that can easily make people angry. You handled it very well and your rankings are very generous. Please get a better mic though. Consular is really got a short end of the stick when it comes to companions. I wonder if this is the reason why so many people dislike consular story, which is by itself is pretty goood, mysteries of the force and all that jazz. Also, warhammer 40k is cringe.
I am aware I do not have the best hardware, though my mic isn't too bad actually. The reason why the Audio is so inconsistent is because I recorded this in like span of 5 months. I do UA-cam on the side and unfortunately I don't do it enough. People dislike the Consular because they are stuck between a false dichotomy of the consular's character who can either be Kreia as Dark or a generic Jedi as Light. Though I found that being more like Jolee Bindo is more fun as Light Consular. It's okay if you think 40k is cringe, I want to branch out to Star Wars also so, stick for that.

I so disagree right away... this video starts off poorly. Skadge is a perfectly good Murder Hobo companion if you want to go out full blown psycho killer mode on your bounty hunter. Kaliyo is a fantastic counterpart to the imperial agent. Both of these characters are far far better than Quinn and Corso. God I hate them. I don't care if Quinn was gaslit, he's a fool and deserves to be at the bottom. Vette, Gault Rennow and Dark Jaesa are the Goats on this list top 3 easily. Scorpio is the Sylvanas of SWTOR. She is so well written, you love to hate her. I hate Scorpio with a passion, but that is why she is so well made, but because I kill Scorpio every chance I get, she's a meat bag for me, same with Tanno Vik, and I agree with that. Oh right... the sleaziest companion in the game is also very bad, but it's mostly because I think his romance is badly written and that is Andronikus Revel, can't stand him and I prefer to play the female Inquisitor because the voice actress is better than the male. Second worst romance in the game, after bug boy who is the worst. Seriously, go replay the female Sith Inquisitor and try to turn down Andronikus. he almost forces himself upon you, it is super creepy. I didn't really notice this at first until someone pointed it out and I replayed the story and tried rejecting him and sure enough, he tries so hard it's so forced. On second thought... He is the worst romance option in the game, bug boy is better. The Consular story is by far the worst class story in the game in my opinion, I also feel the consular companions are some of the worst in the game because they suffer from the story... or lack thereof. let me explain why Vette and Gault are GOAT tier ok? They are funny, they make me laugh and this means I have more fun. this is also why parts of the Bounty Hunter story are funny. the same with Dark Jaesa, because I have a very dark sense of humour, I have so much fun with Dark Jaesa. Light Jaesa is boring.

Smuggler's companions are just bad, Bowdaar is unbearable every time he speaks with that annoying whine, I want to hit him with a news paper, Corso is useless and would not last a week in the underworld, Guss is mildly amusing at best, Risha is just annoying (say Nok Drayen one more time, I dare you!!!) It is fun telling them how useless they are and watching their reactions. It is easier to pick the ones that I like Mako, Ashara (although she is not very bright, I find it strange that she so easily turns on the jedi and blindly follows me and believes I am good even though I am dark side five), Qyzen, Akaavi, Kira, Vette, Scourge, Raina was cool till she killed her dad because of her brainwashing (big red flag) Val Khem but only possessed by Zash, Khem alone is just a want to be tough guy that is dominated by a Sith apprentice. The rest are almost insufferable, and I never use them.

Personally, my favorite is Khem Val, he is a charismatic character, and interestingly expands the lore of Tulak Hord.
Despite his entire character being a Brute with an IQ of 10, Khem Val definitely has one of the best character arcs in the entire game.
