I need silence every day. Too much noise increases my anxiety and makes me just feel anxious. I need some silence to feel calm. Thank you, Ashlynne, for all that you do with your videos. You are the most soothing person here on UA-cam for me. Thank you for creating a calmness.
Silence…is GOLDEN!!! I desperately need that too. I rarely watch TV. MY Husband is 61 & doesn’t have great hearing. He loves the TV on & very…loud. 😳😩 It drives me crazy!!!!
I love doing weekly declutter sessions to help keep up with the clutter entering our home and to make cleaning and day to day life easier for my family!
This is a great list! My current favorite thing for mental health is to tidy my home. Something about taking a break and then seeing a clean space after is very cleansing :)
Here’s a recap of the video: 1. Have More fruits & vegetables on a daily 2. Go for a 15 mins. walk outside 3. Learn to love silence 4. 10 minutes reset daily 5. Make time for friendships 6. Give yourself better options 7. Step away 8. Invest in your spiritual life 9. Set a bed time 10. Do something creative 11. Don’t let the sun set (don’t linger on anger) 12. Take a night off (rest, recharge) 13. Confide in someone you trust Hope it helps, have a good day. And thank you Ashlynne for sharing this with us. Loved it. ❤🙏✨
I’d definitely check it out. 👍🏽 Please know that I consume almost every video you share here on YT and its become now a habit to hit the like button before even watching it fully because I do know I’d eventually. Stay blessed, keep evolving and spreading great information. Much love from India. Namaste. 🙏🇮🇳
My favorite way to boost my mental health is to have a long walk in the forest once a week (plus I walk to work and home from work ever day through the forest so that helps too!). In January I have been doing yoga every day, that has been wonderful. And I like to declutter every so often, which makes my mind so calm and satisfied ☺️
Wow. Wow. Wow. Your video was so beautiful and beautifully MADE. thank you for all you do Ahlynne!!! My mental health hack is also to memorize and speak Gods word over myself and those I love and pray for. Gods word spoken out loud is POWERFUL ❤
What excellent advice!! A long time ago, I was struggling with depression that kept coming back. I can tell you, you are so spot on in your advice! Of course, everyone needs to find their own way, but it is also true that some habits work for most of us. I personally need quiet time alone every day, because I meet a lot of people at work. Going outside is also a favorite. Thanks again for an awesome video!
Hi Ashlynne, I can't even begin to tell you how much I needed this today. I am so grateful it popped up in my feed. Alrhough a lot of these were reminders, I really needed these reminders right now as I have let life creep in and take control. I am over whelmed and overcommitted, and after dreaming that I was drowning last night, I know I need to make some changes. Thank you.
I am going to work on these mentioned that I don't regularly if @ all like fruit/ vegetables, being silent, I don't do things a lot that involve others! I love yur videos!
Thank you for this. I’m a nurse working in mental health. I’m going to add this to my resources . Excellent suggestions, clearly stated. Blessings on your journey everyone 🙏🪷
The one thing I want to start doing is short morning workouts. Lately I’ve been feeling kind of sluggish and tired - and I know it’s because I don’t get enough movement. It’s a circle of feeling tired and therefore choosing to take a nap instead of going for a walk. However, movement is a magical thing that can actually boost your energy - I’m aware of that but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. What I came up with is that I can do very short workouts every morning - just 5-10 minutes long. 1) I go for the short ones because it’s easier for my brain to devote just 10 minutes to something new regularly rather than committing to going to the gym for an hour long workout. 10 minutes is easy and achievable on a daily basis. It might not be effective short term but the key is that I’ll be doing it regularly slowly but surely building a habit of daily movement. 2) I chose to do it in the morning because I tend to feel more tired by the end of the day and I know that the option of skipping that day’s workout would be irresistible 😅 I made a playlist on UA-cam of 10 min workouts from my favourite channels ❤
This is such a good list😊 I find having consistent morning routines to get me going & evening routines to wind me down are so important. And getting my body moving in some capacity as soon as possible too!❤
I have a few. Pray, Bible study, beware of surroundings, drink water , eat good natural foods, exercise and good sleep. And of course spend quality time with husband. I am retired so these few things are very important to me. Plus, my hobby is cross stitching.
Enjoying silence is something I’m wanting to work on as well!! And having a clean, tidy space is a man absolute game-changer for me!! Thanks for this video Ashlynne🤍
Hi, Ashlynne. Each morning, my husband and I tell each other at least one thing we are grateful for. I also cycle on my exercise bike for 20km each day, as far as possible. In terms of noise, I hate hearing the neighbours, so enjoy listening to a soundtrack of birds in the forest, or the ambience ASMR videos on UA-cam. I love those. News intake is kept to a minimum, as that does NOTHING to enhance my mental wellbeing. And of course, a puzzling session is also a regular feature! 😉Have a great day! 😁
Thanks for this video full of tips! I enjoy praying in the morning, a walk after work and the one I would like to develop is doing something creative. 🤗
Thank you for this video, it was lovely. One small way I boost my mental health has been to have a very cute pill holder for my medication. Taking your medication when it's prescribed is a vital piece of life when you need it, but it's easy to forget when your mood is low. I find having a cute place to store my meds helps me want to look at the place they are stored and that helps remind me to take them.
Thank you, Ashlynne! Yes to silence, from stepping away from my busy, high traffic work reception desk to go outside or sit in the empty lobby to putting earplugs in at night to drown out noise to relax in bed. 😊❤️ Also, my husband and I work at a Christian university, so daily weekday chapel is available to us! ❤️
Thank you for this video, Ashlynne. I just went through a mental health crisis the other day. My psychiatrist just increased my meds. Going to keep going. I love silence and use it many times a day, especially at night.
Jesus said “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6. All of us need Jesus, only true peace is found in Him.
Love your videos. Thanks for your helpful suggestions. Each afternoon I take a break and put on some quiet music and breathe in some calming essential oils. I sit and do some deep cleansing-breathes and then do my tapping points for 10 minutes. At night to relax I have a cup of yogi soothing caramel bedtime tea. I make it with a little honey. Tastes great.
Ashlynne, thank you sooo much for such great videos 😍discovered your channel this year and already love it ❤️ as for my my favourite ways to unwind, I think it's doing some kind of physical activity, always feel refreshed after that 💪🤩
I’m a mama to two school aged children and also a teacher who clocks in at 7:30. It’s been incredibly hard for me to have any kind of morning routine that isn’t just get myself and the kids ready and out the door. After a dinner and chat with my husband we realized that we really wanted to wake up earlier to spend more time with each other, get to work on time and not feel rushed, and also to do something for ourselves in the morning. So, we have been getting up at 5:15 instead of 6:30. It’s been so life giving to me and I feel like my mental health and physical health (since I am able to workout in the morning!) is already improving so much.
Love this video!! Gratitude is so important -being grateful for what i have will automatically make me feel better 🌻and doing things that bring JOY. Also seeing things not from a judgmental point of view, but through love and compassion both for myself and others 🌻💞
You never disappoint me with your videos Ashlynne, that's why your youtube channel is my favorite 🥳 Being closer to spirituality is one of the most beneficial things I do for my mental health. I do therapy as well but praying, meditate and put in practice the spiritual laws boosted my mental health incredibly. I believe in science and God as well, I need them both ☺️
Hi Ashlynne happy Wednesday afternoon and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your reset vlogs because you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I do embroidery only begun it last year and with aid of heat erase pens I’m now creating my own designs many with bible verses but not all of them. My new one is a field of lavender with my friends sisters name on it and some dainty butterflies flying around the name. My sister got an elephant one for her birthday today. I also love writing stories and reading. But last year I suffered from a lot of migraines ( I believe peri menopausal) but also had mri scan found a small cyst but not too bad to worry about for now. I’m also on waiting list for a different kind of therapy but needed x
Thanks for an other great video Ashlynne ❤. I do love silence and I also love to read to relax. Being creative used to be my go to method, but at this moment it is just very stressful because of the amount of material I have. Half of it is going to a friend as soon as the construction work on her house in March (and also on my own house (April)) is done. So just a couple of months to go and I can start my creative hobbies again 😅
One of the things I like to do when I’m feeling down or even stressed out is to go for a nice walk. 😊 well depending on weather lol Canada is getting hit with a nice winter storm today.
You just got me out on my bedtime LOL my boyfriend has been trying to get me to go bed earlier every night , I just get caught up in playing a game on my phone or scrolling through imgur. I get restless while trying to go bed early ...
Really love your content and channel, but the talking about the bible and praying all the time makes me feel sick :/ I wish it was a bit more neutral in religious aspects.
What’s one small thing you like to do to boost your mental health? 🤍
Doing exercise.
Listening to solfeggio frequencies while journaling at the end of the day. 🙌
Listing as many things I'm grateful for as possible
Snuggle my puppies!!! ❤❤❤
Journaling ☺️

I am the same way. I easily get overwhelmed by noise and chaos.

So helpful, so inspiring, so peaceful ...so GREAT!!!👍
Thank you.😊
I absolutely…LOVE your inspiration!!!!
Thank you!!!❤❤❤❤❤
It makes me very happy that u do Bible quiet time. I do too, it is the most important part to starting my day😌
This may be a really small tip, but on cloudy or rainy days, I like to wear white. It really can brighten my mood
I love to craft, making cards, sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, so restorative.
I Color in a Bible verse coloring book every day! It helps me relax and I get to meditate on the word of God while I do it! ❤
