Two things to bring up in this video is that when you moonwalk to take ledge in this game, it's much easier if you press shield after a bit while moving back because you'll slide further and always be facing against the ledge and automatically grab it once you fall off. Also, if you use the ledge jump shortcut to waveland onto stage, you don't get any i-frames during the wavedash as opposed to timing it after pressing back or down. The same goes for cancelling ledge jump with any move, you lose any i-frames you had if you cancel it.
About the ledgedash macro at 1:30, note that you lose all ledge invincibility, while with a normal ledgedash input you keep it. Unlike melee tho, attacking disable the invincibility (on the ground at least).
dude i have seen that fast ledge grab in another vid and I have been entirely unable to do it. I'm brand new to plat fighters but damn idk why I can't fast ledge grab
Practice makes perfect! And it may not look the same for every character because they all have different running speeds and the timings can change because of that. Maypul has very fast ground speed so it looks almost instant when using that character

You have one more option on the ledge, if you use grab it will cause you to drop as well but wall jump will be instantly actionable.

With Maypul specifically, you can reverse side b to refresh your ledge hang
Thanks for this! Ive seen it before but I actually didnt know the input at the time
Great guide, answered exactly what I needed
when you wavedash on to the stage from ledge it's called a ledgedash.

the sauce!
The only arcade modes I haven't seen are Wrastor, Maypul, Clairen or Orcane's. If anyone has videos of them, I would love to see it.
