I really appreciate Nic's humble workshop. Just goes to show you that you don't need a whole bench lined with 2x72s to make top notch tools. Thanks again.
Especially on smaller blades these machines produce very good results, I do have a 2x72 albeit home built, but have always been a fan of the ProEdge as it's a great entry level machine that can also work in a production environment.
Nics workshop is definitely fine tuned for him to be able to produce the high quality tools as consistently as he has been doing for many years ~Peace~
His jig is ingenious! I have one of those small cheap belt grinders , 1 x 30 inch I believe and even I could jig it up. Thanks for sharing your jig, Nick!
Appreciate the kind words John and once the remaning two videos of this series are published this week, it'll hopefully teach you the entire process from start to finish ~Peace~
A very practical tutorial…thoroughly enjoyable presentation…always interesting to understand the theory behind the method…cheers from the Snowy Mountains Australia
Hi Zed..we sure do…. Our ski season runs from June to October…11 resorts and not uncommon to get snow in many parts of southern New South Wales,Victoria and Tasmania

I’m interested to see how Nick keeps the round tang from spinning in the handle with use. 🎸🔪
Handle video comes out later today which addresses that, suffice to say a round tang doesn't spin at all when in the handle ~Peace~
