I for one like the longer episodes. 40-45 min sounds like a good time for me. Also I like that you cut most of the grindy crafting. It makes the episodes feel more meaty. Mad love to you dire. You make my lunch breaks worth taking.

Now that Dire has automated Analysis, it makes sense to drop past the crate of misc. things the Analyser found before doing much Calculator-related crafting in case it either already found the item you need, or it found expensive ingredients you then won't need to craft. e.g. it often finds screens, so you won't usually need to craft those, but it can find a whole Atomic Calculator, or a Nutrition Module too (it also finds other valuable stuff, Ender Pearls, Diamonds, all sorts). It doesn't happen often, but you might as well check sometimes once you've got Analysis automated. Speaking of Nutrition Modules - yeah, the Health and Hunger Modules don't auto-fill, but the Nutrition Module does. Since Dire has both the mid-game Calculator trees he should see if Nutrition is affordable. For Calculator Power, notice that the Analyser is finding Power as well as random items. See how it has an energy bar too, yet it doesn't hook up to consume RF or EU ? That energy bar is for power it found while analysing circuits. There's a slot for an item that can take power, and it'll refill that item using the energy it stored.
The Nutrition module will fill up both your hunger and hearts passively. Very worth it. Also, check circuit analyzing extras before crafting Calc mod recipies. (Power cubes, gems, etc. are showing up...)
You can make atomic calculator binder in fabricator. You don't need to do the normal recipe. Read the upper tabs. Also the higher tier extractor .can get large tanzinite from trees.
Dire, Put the trophies in your starter home as that's an achievement in itself. Just fancy it up and gives you a reason to go in now you are auto mining
the nutrition module is the passive gain when combined with the health one. When you have both you will not take damage just loose the health points and the food part will passively stay full. Also the Pahahimar Lava can be cooled just by some running water. same speed instant
Nutrition Module combines the hunger and health modules together and is automatic if in your hotbar. You shouldn't even bother with Hunger and Health modules individually.
One of the reasons I watch LPs is because if you give 10 people a task, you'll probably end up with 10 different methods to accomplish that task. The downside is that you sometimes have to watch someone setting up a system to automate something, when it would take a fraction of the time to just get a few buckets. :)
You don't need to run conduits long distance or use the wireless for the farm. IE thermal generators can power the farm for low cost. Without capacitors it will take 4 and if I remember correctly the top tier one took 7 generators. I was using Yellorium and Ice.
@direwolf20 you should put down some storage drawers with void upgrades or take off the assimilator when the chest is full because it will start throwing the diamonds out into the world if it doesn't have an inventory to put them into.
yeah i know but when it fills up it will spill out into the world. i had a terrible lag spike in my world that turned out to be several thousand diamonds on the ground near my diamond tree that it had spit all over the place while i was in a different dimension.

You should connect the liquid heat exchanger to a stirling generator. It's super cheap and generates a small amount of EU. Not enough to make it worthwhile if you weren't after the Pahahimar lava, but probably more useful heating the boiler.
To be fair, the way and place you're placing the trophies are already kinda nice. Also, you crafted the electric crucible to trigger age 9, just use it for lava.
Direwolf with the thermal binder and an electric pickaxe you can give it fortune 5 which in return will give you a higher yield than the sagmill with dark steel for things like diamond quartz etc.
Hey Direwolf20 i know you will probably never make a trophy room but if for some reason you get the itch to don't or at least try it in a different game first because when i broke them to move them they lost the trophy part and name all i got was a gold block back then 2 out of 3 appeared randomly on my base but for some reason one didn't they changed them in the new update. They are black and cooler looking now and all the update was for at least to my knowledge is just for the trophy's and the trophy system so maybe he fixed it now but i don't know haven't tried im a lil scared to lol been meaning to tell you and i kept forgetting by the end of the episode because i end up getting a idea from you to do on my game then im lost in the world of Modded Minecraft lol Have a good day tho and keep up the awesome videos and also longer episodes is better.
Every time dire says "not terrible" I think, "definitely excruciatingly horrible". The recipes in this pack are really brutal. I really think AE or the likes should be available lower in the tech tree to make it attractive to me to play it.

Please replace your extraction chamber with a precision chamber. It works better for getting a variety of circuits than the extraction chamber because it gets a circuit every time. You can also make power cubes really cheaply from UU Matter.
You must be dire to get to Mekanism....With the highest Tier and Speed Upgrades Mekanism Machines can not only quintuple Ores but also process STACKs in Seconds. The Machienes have 7 simultanious Processing Slots each. Also you can play a bit with Gases and make a lot of RF. Even a small Gas-Loops with 1 Generator generates around 7kRF/t. Sadly Mekanism is gated behind T12 and needs Materials from Outer Space...
YES but i tested it in Creative mode and its possible to output Joule into RF with Ender IO Conduits or even Mekanism Cable. BUT Its not possible to Convert RF to EU in this Mod. Ive searched, but no find. Meaning no Mass Fab Energy :(
=quick Explaination at the End= Ok ive tested many things now in this Modpack. Mods that use EU only are TechReborn and IC2. Neotech CAN recieve EU OR RF. Mekanism cable don't work on IC2, TR or Neotech.... Last Cable doesn't work with IC2, TR or Mekanism. Neotech Solar CAN output RF OR EU (both cable stick)you CAN ignore Cable or Machiene Tier in this case, but it seems like it only outputs half of its power to EU....still ignoring Tier. Was able to put over 200EU/t with 8 Neotech Elite Solars (32EU/t each) via Tin Cable into a Batbox....Even Glasscable into a Batbox worked.... EnderIO-Conduits stick to Mekanism and Neotech. Although EnderIO conduits CAN convert J to RF they can't convert RF to J, or J to J, you CAN however stick 1 piece of Mekanism-Cable between Conduit and Mekanism Machiene to let it convert it. Solar Flux Reborn doesn't work with Mekanism at all. BUT you can use an Ender IO Conduit as a bridge between them like this: Solar->Conduit->MekanismCable->MekanismMachiene. Calculator Mod works fine with EU or J (IC2 or Mekanism), but the ONLY Machiene (Advanced Powercube) thats able to hold and output EU or J was removed. AE2 works fine with IC2 or Mekanism Energy. Immersive Engineering DOES work with Mekanism, while the IE Cable DO like Joule, they CAN'T output Joule (they can convert J into RF), however you can use Relay->Mekanismcable->MekanismMachiene, same as Conduits. =Quick Recap= IC2 and TechReborn are EU exclusive and doesn't like anyone else. Mekanism usually plays nice with every Mod, but since its only Joule in this Mod you can input Energy into Mekanism only with a piece of MekanismCable as a Converter. But ANY Cable (not the last Cable and no IC2 of cause^^) can convert Joule into RF. If a RF Machiene doesn't like MekanismCable, use an Conduit as a Bridge. Many (most?) useful items, especially from the late game, are blacklisted. Also, UU matter scanning consumes an item, even if the UU matter cost is sky-high, so you may scan it, decide it's too expensive and now need to make the item again the hard way.

Another way to obtain ash is by generating some RF using a peat-fired engine from Forestry.

You don't need a trophy room. Use Chisels and Bits to "glass in" your trophies and call it a trophy case.
