Legend. Literally spent an hour trying to work out how to make that first model before i found your video. Thank you.
Aaron on of the best tutorials I have seen in sketchup. You should do a whole book on 'tips and techniques in sketchup' . Will be first in line !
This is the best free software Ive seen. Respect.
Very helpful tutorial about how to make a curved tent! Thanks, Aaron!
It really worked for me after I look and try some tutorials, yours is the one that worked. Owe you a lot.
Thanks for this. The bubble tool will be useful for Byzantine domes, Ancient Egyptian stools, and old fashioned British telephone boxes. I also didn't realise that you could tell it how many sides to give a circle, so that is useful information.
This is Awesome. Thank you so much for sharing more. Your videos are the most useful for learning sketch up.
Master is back finally!! :D
So very helpful...no fluff. Thankyou.

You're amazing bro, thanks so much, works perfectly
hey aaron great tip! a did not know you could do it with a square too :D awesome. BTW you can select the square, use follow me and just click the curve-face, don't need to drag around!

Hi Aaron, where can i look for the "SKIN" and the "JUNCTION" tool, i have tried looking for them in the toolbar but they wasn't there
Hey Aaron, Awesome tutorials. My questions are going to be very basic, but I hope that is no problem. Why do you reverse faces? (0:54)
Thanks :)
+Omar Alamoudi (عمر العمودي) he does it to not get that greytoned surface you'll may get.
i know its 2 years late but white surfaces are the front of a lace and the blue surface is the backside. sometimes they can get glitched and it will be the other way around so you fix that with reverse surfaces
Also, colors' pigment may appear different when faces are reversed.
nice
thank you bro thank you

great tutorial - I can now draw these images BUT how do I 'lay' them up on fabric (2D) to obtain a cutting schedule in order to make a canvass tent??
+Anthony G Well there is a plugin called the unfold tool. Which of course will flatten your geometry to any plane that you choose. Hope this helps. :)

Hello,,i can't find spline extension,,,, do you can give me link, please ?
Is this regular Sketchup or sketchup pro?
This is Pro, but the free version is very robust. Unless you plan on drafting, the free version should suffice.
Aaron Bishop Can we make these in the regular one?
+Numba XV Yes. For the ones that require plugins, you will need those plugins, but all that can be done in the free version.
One last thing, do you by any chance, have videos on how to make structures?
+Numba XV By structures, what do you mean?
how to you draw a curved
line
how can we get the plugins
