I use paid Bool Tools 2 and the cool thing about it is that eventhough a group is not solid it can still perform a solid tools operation with clean results. This is very handy cause sometimes fixing up a group to become solid might just take a lot of time or it just plain refuses to become solid.
Is that true? I need to go back and look at Bool Tools again - it has some nice features that are better than Solid Tools, but obviously you have to buy it
Just starting to use Solid Tools for more complex geometry for things like the 1/2" chamfered edge inset in the side a corbel. Was too complex for a couple of extensions that I thought would surely help (just way too much to clean up). Solid Tools actually worked better. Thanks for this...loving it.
I tried, but sometimes it appears that 1st or 2nd is not a solid, and sometimes they're both not a solid especially when the object has a little bit of complexity.
Hi everyone! Let me know what you're using Solid Tools for in the comments below! :)

Sketchup is addictive. It should come with a health warning! 🤣 Thank you for all these informative videos.
LOL - obviously I agree :)
Hi, thanks, how did you get that eraser tool which seems to delete lines only?
