@@carinapotts2806 You can add or take out any items you don’t need this is one I came up with.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Backuchi oil
- 1 tablespoon Camellia oil
- 1 tablespoon Calendula oil
- 1 tablespoon Sea Buckthorn oil
- 1 tablespoon Shea butter
- 1 tablespoon Rosehip oil
- 1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
- 1 tablespoon Mango butter
- 1 tablespoon Castor oil
- 1 tablespoon Beeswax
- 5 drops Oregano essential oil
- 10 drops Geranium essential oil
Instructions:
1. In a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, melt the Shea butter and beeswax until they're completely liquid.
2. Once melted, remove from heat and add Backuchi oil, Camellia oil, Calendula oil, Sea Buckthorn oil, Rosehip oil, Vitamin E oil, Castor oil, and Mango butter to the melted mixture. Stir well to combine.
3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly but not solidify. Add the Oregano and Geranium essential oils and mix thoroughly.
4. Finally, pour the mixture into a clean, airtight container or jar. Allow it to cool and solidify completely. This may take a few hours.
5. Your DIY anti-aging face cream is ready to use. Apply a small amount to your face and neck as part of your skincare routine.
Always perform a patch test to check for any skin sensitivities to the essential oils and other ingredients before applying the cream to your face. Store the cream in a cool, dark place for optimal preservation.
A tip for getting the sandalwood oil out is to run it under hot water for a bit so the oil becomes more liquid

Laura, I have a GREAT deodorant recipe I’d love to share with you and really does work:
Three ingredients, all in 1/3 ratio: coconut oil, baking soda and arrowroot starch. Mix all together and use a pea size amount under arms each day.
I’ve been using it for years and love it. 😊
Does it stain your clothes at all? I used to use coconut oil and Shea butter on my hands and they left marks on my clothing 😬
@@lizajane2971 I haven’t noticed it staining my clothes at all. Only a few times I saw it on a dark shirt but overall it had not been a problem.
Hi Laura. I made this. I like it. I used geranium rose essential oil and I think it is a very strong earthy smell. Next time I might use a different essential oil. The formula is a little gritty. How can I avoid that next time.?
Make sure all the ingredients are melted before whipping.
What about using tallow for face cream rather than beeswax

Jojoba oil is coconut substitute.
I added the rose hip oil after the heating so as to not kill the vitamin C. Hope that works. We will see as it sets up!

Which other oils can I add? Can I use only Geranium oil?
Yes! Lavender, frankincense and tea tree are all great for skin!
I am allergic to coconut, is there another oil that I could use to make this cream? I am also allergic to Aloe, citric acid and Tumeric. Crazy, I know. So many good skin care products have these ingredients in them. Thank you. I have followed your easy soap making and have had great success.
You can use a different carrier oil.

Do the amount of ingredients change if we live in a colder climate? I have made a few of your products ie the christmas basket and some of them seemed a bit too firm.....
Use less cocoa butter I find it is a harder butter especially if using beeswax. Maybe Shea or Mango?

Does castor oil promote hair growth on your face, like it’s suppose to for your scalp?
No. It won’t grow hair where there wasn’t. It helps grow hair on scalp because it’s an anti inflammatory, anti microbial and nourishing because of essential fatty acids, vitamins and such. That’s only maybe it can help the scalp hair too.

Perfect! Do I have to refrigerate to get it to set up then blend into a butter? Is it less temp sensitive with the beezwax in it?
It will definitely shorten the process, but it will eventually become solid at room temp.
