On mine the B- C- threaded lug inserts are not aluminum as they are very magnetic. Aluminum would never hold up considering there's only 6mm in length of threads. JBD-SP04S034 V1.3
Thanks very much for that information. I'm guessing that it's likely nickel not iron/steel that is making it magnetic. So perhaps brass? I might have to sand one back a little to check.
@@mullerenergy The Buss bar is Cu. They are Lead clad till the end of the PCB and the rest clean Cu with SS "Nutsert" under the Bar to accept 6mm X 6mm SS bolt.
Heating Port was already available in the old version, you only had the version without heating option. For me the only real difference are the two main connectors. Everything else is the same.

How or by which condition the heating port works? I have the "older" version WITH heating port. Connected heating films. NO HEATING IS GENERATED at any temperature values settngs. However, the films connected directly to the battery works ok. So I wonder when the heating port receives the "-" ? The app have no any tiny bit of a hint at heating function. Contacted the aliexpress official store - replied me with the description of how to connect the heating films))) However, I do know and already connected all as it should and tested all - heating does not work. Then the seller became silent, my questions marked as "read" while no reply made.
Hi mate, I have the new bms style and have hooked it up to 300 amp 4s battery but the app is only saying 200 amp. Can't seem to find any info how to change it or can't find that setting on the app. Would you know how to do this
You can mount it any orientation, but you obviously have to stop it from moving around. There are many ways of accomplishing this, depending on your situation. Some people use kapton tape, others custom build a housing out of plywood. So sorry, I can't give you one answer.
Hi, just to let you know the mosfets actually dissipate their heat on the PCB side, the aluminium plate on top is only to hold everything down.
Heat sink is to protect the battery from the heat of the mosfets.

I believe there were different versions of this BMS. As you can see, the one we had did not have the threaded connector.

At 3:22 in the video you state: "and then the whites are for first NEGATIVE 2nd negative and so on." NEGATIVE should be read POSITIVE.
