I have been seriously looking at this bipod for awhile now. now, i’m that much closer to buying one! nice you can put atlas feet on it if i remember right? couple different mounting options aswell, nice. thx for the review brother, cheers.
By the time you add adapters to a Harris Bipod it is either almost or greater than $200. The FAB defense spike is around 160 if I remember correctly. Magpul is at that $100 mark. $200 for this bipod is a pretty acceptable compared to others.
@@jinks6410 I own one. Basically it is like an atlas and Magpul got together and had a baby. The adjustment knob on the bottom is very tight however I really like the can feature and the leg adjustments. Very sturdy. Just make sure to put some thread locker on the leg screws as they can come loose.
I completely understand where your coming from but when the competition guys are running ckye Pods that can cost $1000 this is fairly budget but I do agree in a sense that it wasn’t that long ago when you could still get a nice atlas for 250ish but prices on everything has skyrocketed in the last two years.
It's $180-$200 in the states. Cheap bipods other than Amazon Chinesium are $100 (Magpul) at a minimum and up to $800 for some really expensive ones here. Accu-Tac bipods are $400 which are really good but twice he price. Honestly, FAB Defense Spike bipods are $100 here and are worlds better than Magpuls. $200 here isn't bad for what the features are for this bipod.
Hey Buddy! How do you get a so smooth bolt action movement? I bought cz457 a week ago and after doing a shoot and I lift up the bolt when it tense upp the feather its hard and i feel a resistance. When you do it, it looks like you do it with your fingertips? Is it something i can do to make it better? Have a nice day, thanks !
I just cant see the Ground Pod ever beating the Atlas CAL. The ground pod was super shaky, jiggly, and felt cheap.....BUT, it was easy to operate and adjust.
@Midwest Long Range you will have to make it up to a MPS match or the king of .28 this summer at rush lake range. My wife and I host the monthly nrl22 also at that range
@@midwest_long_range yes sir indeed! How I would love a ckye pod, but after this video I feel comfortable in purchasing a grnd pod. I can’t justify buying the ckye.
Every 22 is different but my cz457 varmint pro loves the sk pistol match for some reason. Shoots eley well too. Great little gun
Nice shout out to Nedved Precision. Jason is a standup dude, and a great advocate for the sport in my area.
Jason’s a good dude for sure! Damn good shooter as well.
After looking at the other bipods you mentioned regarding your Hunter build, $200 is a bargain.
Good video and Great Shooting! 🎉
Thanks for taking the time!

Thanks for watching I hope this helps
Great MDT video. They are super popula, must have chassis.
"You have earned my respect"
$200 is budget? It is a nice bipod and it does cost less than a atlas, but i def wouldn’t call that budget lol.
I second that. Love the channel and glad I stumbled on it. It's budget to a $5,000 rig but not by definition since there are reputable bipods for less

@@jdrollason that fab defense bipod does look like a good option

Might put one on my T1X. Thx for the video.
Damnit, you and the Ginger Ninja got me into rimfire and I've been wanting a KRG Bravo for the 457 and that bipod looks like a great option.
Hey man just trying to help lol it is a pretty good bipod. Thanks for watching, glad I can help with your debt 🤣
@@midwest_long_range anytime brother, I try and catch every video. The last thing I needed help with was debt!
Santa brought me one! I'm excited to take it to the range and try it out
Nice!
How is the grnd pod a Budget bipod? It cost $260-280 in Australia

@@2amichaelj essentially we just double the price here in Oz when we compare to US prices.

Glad I found your channel
Thanks man glad u found it
Thanks again for letting me borrow it for that match haha. I finally have mine
No problem man anytime!
I know it is weird. I wish they had a solid black option.
These are a bargain for sure! I just wish they didn’t cheap out so much on the chintzy plastic Arca clamp knob.
Agreed they definitely could have used something different for that
Good video. Looks like a nice bipod for the money.
Good stuff. I like my b.t. but I want to try one of these.
Thanks! It’s definitely worth picking up, works well.
Does it work well w center fire rifles like 6.5 cm
This was a first gen and the clamp left a little bit to be desired. But yes it works fine with centerfire I use it with my Nrl hunter 6.5 creedmoor
Your sweatshirt caught my eye right away. I live 15mn away from the aluminum Lund boat plant.
I work with those guys alot, good guys up there. I work at the sister plant in MO

How awesome it would feel to call a $200 bipod a “budget” bipod. 😂 Granted it’s half the price I paid for my Atlas.
Compared to a ckye pod it is budget lol
@@midwest_long_range yes sir indeed! How I would love a ckye pod, but after this video I feel comfortable in purchasing a grnd pod. I can’t justify buying the ckye.
Here where I live that bipod is priced at $320 . And that is way over priced.
I wouldn’t call this a budget bipod.
