Can't wait to build mine.. still have a raptor 30 V2, won't miss the slimy heli post flight wipe downs. That is one nice machine.

I just got the 360cfx 3s as my first CP heli. I've programmed the Tx to make more docile (it's my first, back off) and I'm just trying to get used to flying it. Before I bought it, it was between that and a Fusion... Kinda got scared away from the fusions because of their reputation as serious 3D machines. It's kind of funny, I remember one of their first forays into CP helis (the SR) was almost universally hated... It's nice to see them putting out good stuff like this.

How do you like it now being a year ago?

Will be making a buy the first week in August. Have it narrowed down between the Goblin 380 Buddy and the Blade Fusion 480. Once I buy the kit I will need to put another 700 to 800 in as I want the best servos, motor and ESC. Already have a Spektrum 6250 flight controller. Will only have the cash to buy one or the other until next year as I have some other purchases to make in 2020. Will be flying it with a Spektrum DX8 G2. If you were me which would you choose under these circumstances. Anyone else comment would be welcome too.

RC HeliPilot If i were you, I would get the Fusion 480. The Buddy is very nice and it flies so well, but the Fusion is more bang for your buck to me. It can be stretched to a 550, takes standard size servos, extremely well built, & you get more Helicopter for the money. The Fusion may not be as a “luxurious” as the Buddy, but if your looking for a good value, the Fusion all day.

RC HeliPilot My final build review of my Buddy 380 will be out soon, stick around to watch that and maybe it will help you make up your mind.

@@mangzrc Thanks for the reply, I was kinda thinking the same thing so now the decision is made, it will be the Fusion in a couple of weeks and I may even be able to get the Buddy 380 in 2020 but may have to hold off on all the components to get that one flying. No big deal as I have plenty of stuff to fly now. I like both of those helis and intend to have both.
On another note I also intend to stock up on some parts as a hedge against the FAA thing and their remote ID rules. I'm guessing a lot of manufacturers may drop out of the market because the parts will have to be compliant. Just guessing here but I'm not going to stop flying. I live in western Nebraska and rarely ever see and aircraft so cant see how it will be safety hazard.

I want a a 450 size like helicopter makes you a better pilot of it but that 480 is only slightly longer than the 450 so it’s still a 450

I switched the landing gear to the new 550 plastic landing gear because I didn't the solid carbon gear. that was the only part of the heli design I didn't like.

I had one like this. Cross controled while training maneuvers and was upside down and it went straight into the ground and destroyed it

Andreas Belger Thank you for comment! I recommend you go with the 230S V2. It is an amazing flying helicopter that offers Horizon’s SAFE tech. It is very easy to service and fix as well as being very beginner friendly. I never got to post anything with the 230S V2 but I owned one for awhile last year, it was a great helicopter!

No, the Fusion 480 is a kit only. Take a look at the Fusion 360 if you want a BNF.

Ive got the 330 360 180 . The 180 flys great all the others give me problems. Blade products are over priced and are not as good. I have the 550x which they discontinued. And the 600. Only two that were good.
