    Started designing, building and flying models in the 70's. I started FPV 20 years ago, 15 years with head tracking. It may have gotten off to a slow start, but it is good to see it progressing the way it is and that nowadays, people can just buy a system to do it. After building a system for a P-51 Mustang, I stopped flying 3rd person altogether. All of my planes are flown this way. Most people will never fly a real aircraft, much less a warbird, so FPV is the next best thing.

      the 03 air unit is a game changer, the quality is so high now and you no longer need a separate camera to record with. I already have 3, one on my 5 inch quad. One I can swap between my rc car and boat, and one I still have to put in a glider.

    I would not recommend an O3 air unit without an arm command input from a flight controller (this is why you can buy Arduino arm command solutions) The o3 air unit was designed for drone flight controllers. When the drone is disarmed it does not blast the other pilots video on the ground. The original air unit does not do this hence why it's more popular for planes

    Now we know that it's possible to fly an RC jet with 360 cameras. But there are still more ideas that need to be tested for feasibility:
    - BB pellet machine guns;
    - Missiles; and
    - Flares
    If any of these three (3) can be modified into an RC Jet, then humanity is one step closer to making a Dogfight Rounament a Reality.

      Mini-missiles, bb machine guns and flares would certainly be a cool realism add on. J’ai toujours regardé ce type d’objet connecté d’un assez mauvais œil. Notamment en ce qui concerne les jeux vidéo…
    Cela dit, j’avoue que pour l’entraînement des pilotes d’aéronef le concept apparaît d’emblée génial !
    Couplé à un avion en modèle réduit ou à un simulateur de vol perfectionné, ce masque doit pouvoir permettre d’optimiser la formation des pilotes tout en réduisant son coût de façon considérable.
    En revanche, concernant certaines applications militaires, du genre des projectiles guidés, le système semble tout de suite beaucoup moins drôle !
    Quoique l’usage de telles armes devrait quand même, dans la pratique, pouvoir « travailler » dans le bon sens la conscience des individus désignés pour guider ces armes jusqu’à leur destination fatale… Et agir de même d’ailleurs sur la conscience des responsables qui ordonnent l’emploi d’armes aussi redoutables en termes de précision. Du moins espérons-le, car avec ce genre de système on ne pourrait plus trop prétendre que les bombes sont aveugles…
