The Lancaster escorted by two Spitfires and two Hurricanes is just beautiful.

It's how it should be
Best part of the whole video.

Forgive me all modern gadgets, but Avro Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane in flight are incomparable in beauty and majesty.
i Totally agree with you on that! those planes are really beautiful!
Absolutely agree. I remember walking just off the Main Street in Colchester one sunny Saturday morning back in 2006, I looked up when I heard an engine overhead and there was a Spitfire in flight. I stayed rooted to the spot, such a beautiful spectacle. I could have watched it all day.
@Renato I Totally agree with you
8 Merlin engines in a row.....

The fly past went directly over my house on the way into London. I live 40 miles from central London and the Typhoons were already in the 70 formation as they went over 😊.
I'm so proud of the pilots that made the 70

There's a reason people love military flyovers and the like. It's a pride factor. Not in a bad way, it's simply recognizing that these machines symbolize a love of country! I'm from the US and I love the pride the UK has in their rich military history, especially when it comes to WW1 and WW2. Cheers from across the pond all!
of course you love your war machines if youre a yankee. land of the free, constantly robbing other countries if they have enough oil.
Usa vet here, gave me goosebumps! Love and have had the pleasure of working close with my buddies from over yonder!
It sparked a lot of feelings across the capital, especially for veterans. Thanks for your service - we all appreciate it!
I love how the small child yells "spitfire!" that little boy loves WW2 planes that's so cute!
If this doesn't make you feel proud to be British then i don't know what would!
Great video...thank you.

Never get tired of seeing US/UK aircraft flying side-by-side with one another 🫣🥺🇺🇸🇬🇧god bless our mates from across the pond
Love back to our amazing 🇺🇲 cousins!
Being an American, we appreciate flyovers. Very cool, Brits!
We can deliver look at the golden jubilee fly over my favourite fly over ever
When ever you feel ashamed or angry with great Britain watch this and all you'll feel is class and pride, guaranteed
Seeing the spitfire, and thinking about the guys back in the day.... The UK can be proud 👏🫡
Proud to have served out gracious Queen in the Royal Air Force! - Nice one lads and lasses!
The lancaster escorted by the 2 spitfires and 2 hurricanes are (by far) my favourite, the sound made every single hair on my body stand up in attention 🥰
I loved how they did the 70 formation! Super cool!
I’m no aviation man but those red arrows bring tears and a lump to my throat .It’s the equivalent to the military drum roll for me.Just awe inspiring since child hood. It’s the red arrows!Fantastic !I grew up when the SAS were famous and boys wanted to be a para or fly with the mighty Red Arrows I’m very proud to be English and always will be .
AND I AM VERY PROUD TO BE WELSH BUT......More importantly, I'm very proud to be BRITISH!
Better than what was shown by the BBC and Sky. I still remember see the big formation of aircraft
that took part in the Silver Jubilee celebrations. Vulcans, Victors, Lightnings, Canberras, Back when
we still had aircraft in numbers.
I'm pretty embarrassed by what I saw , 70 aircraft is that all we can muster for such a prestigious event ??

Thanks for the incredible video. How breathtaking, and what a great way to honour the Queen!
Thank you for kind words! Absolutely thrilling, very fitting tribute.
The jets are pure noise but when the Merlin engined aircraft fly over you, your body seems to resonate in time with the engine.
... and in the 1940's the Queen got to see and hear them every day, when they were new and in service by the hundreds...
you gotta love the spit and the hurricane and also the lancaster/ dambuster the sound of the merlin
Truly spectacular,,
Happy more days to the Queen.

Qué hermosa exhibición aérea... Lo mejor de la RAF impresionante su poderío. Y muy emotivo el paso de los legendarios "Spitfire" y "Lancaster"....¡viva la RAF!🇬🇧💪
My buddy and I watched this amazing flyover from the western square in front of Westminster Abbey, so it's very cool to see this historical event from a different perspective. I'll never forget watching that "70" formation immediately followed by the Red Arrows. Little did we know that we were witnessing the last grand celebration of the Second Elizabethan Age.
Was a wonderful sight! I was working on Southbank and wasnt aware of the flyover and then when I saw everybody looking up I was amazed

Something similar happened here in the US for me. July 4th 2020 they had a flyover of Air Force jets and a couple buddies and I rented a hotel to throw a little party. We get there and there's this loud whooshing sound, I think it's the highway but my friend looks up and shouts "HOLY FUCK!" Looked up to see a B2 Spirit with 4 F22 escorts directly above us. Then there was a B1 with F18s and finally a single B52. Coolest thing I've ever seen, had absolutely no clue until later on that the flyby was for Covid workers.
That 70 formation was beutifuly made
That was freaking awesome. Respect from America 🇺🇸
Thank you cousin from UK
The energy of the crowd was phenomenol specially that " ouuuuuuuu " when aircrafts approach

Thank you for sharing this historic and awesome video. I liked it. Please note that I have lived in London for six and half years and have fond memories of the city. May Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace. PEACE.
2:37 "SPITFIRE!! LOOK ITS A SPITFIRE!!" sounds a lot like what my reaction would sound like
6:34 there's a small metallic object moving very fast Infront of the planes. Snow it down and look closely. We are being watched.
The Spitfires I believe come from an airbase quite near to me - I saw them and the Lancaster coming back from the Jubilee Flypast about 15-20 mins after seeing them on telly. The Spitfires fly over often, and it never grows old. I will stop and go outside and wave to them; your reaction is perfectly normal!!
Great to see people enjoying themselves . Great display
Those aircrafts can make numbers!
Brilliant, thank you for sharing.
Im not even British, though my ancient blood line is german, and this is awesome. Sorry about my ancestors Brittany. Our bad. God bless western civilization.
