Don't worry! It is confirmed that we will at least be getting the special splatfests, like the Frostyfest/Springfests. Nintendo updated both OTH and the Squid Sisters outfits to correlate with those splatfests. However it is unsure if they will be hosting re-runs of splatfests like they did in S1 and S2, time will tell. Loved the video! TEAM FUTURE BABY!!!

To answer your question, I will say that Nintendo hasn't OPENLY stated anything but respected leakers like Oatmeal Dome states that during the update 8.0.0, Splatoween and FrostyFest support was added to Inkopolis Square. (Basically the plaza will look all spooky/festive like the summernights splatfest was) Of course, I will be point out...anything can happen! Nintendo might choose to not use these files or something might come up etc. But usually, Oatmeal Dome was right about many things, even the upcoming Grandfestival! In the case you are skeptical, I find reassurance in thinking about the new conch shell system with 10x, 100x, and 333x battles and even conch clash. They wouldn't update splatfests this much if they planned to only host like 3 or 4 more you know? Sorry for the long essay lol! Just want help you as much as I can :)
