Clark’s apology came out 2 years too late. His decision to turn to NFTs, which were already in the downward spiral at the time, left an extremely sour taste in my and many other’s mouths. I don’t blame the developers at all as it was clear they cared deeply about the game but instead I’m bitter about the way they handled the shutdown. It was very poorly done and felt like they didn’t care about the community they had built up. Myself and many others had faith in the game becoming something great but a combination of poor business practices and Covid destroyed that chance.
Apology until now? Because nfts died? And after all that unprofessional and disrespect towards your player base? No, I won't take that apology. I just hear excuses and excuses of his wrong doings. I would write pages about why I won't take that apology, but I'm too busy for that. And I'll agree with you, toxic players do not represent the entire feral community, and I dont support that. but neither will suport clark bad desitions that led to his down fall.
Agreed. The apology (or at least what was shown of it here,) barely mentioned some of the big problems the community had with those descions. Just kind of glossed over. And yeah, the apology AFTER it's officially all over for them. Right.
You can actually still play it, some dedicated coders have revived it and the membership is free, you just need to grind but the download and some unfixable bugs are still in game
@@smh5179 yeah i know lol]] but i still rlly want the original game back for people who dont have discord and such bc im pretty sure u need discord to download it
I don't buy any of that 'apology' , as a former Feral player. I was through a lot of it. I wanted to see it grow, there was no communication. And folks who were criticizing Cinder were also silenced. They jumped on the NFT hype train and were hardly breaking what.. 50 dollars a day? They closed the discord down, closed the website down. Feral wasn't going to return, I don't believe they had any intention of having Feral return, they wanted Cinder, they started trying to make it appealing to an adult demographic, but not just any adult, -wealthy- adults. The tokenized Fae are STILL up for sale. And then they went quiet on Cinder and vanished. The last 'CinderNFT' post on twitter was in December 2022, and they were teasing minotaurs to the NFTbros. You couldn't even play Cinder without purchasing one of these NFTFae, which were quite expensive. It was not a game intended for everyone. It was a money gatekept clone of Feral. And like Cinder. They burned it all away.
So annoyingly true, and even if cinder managed to stay a float (which it wasn't) would we have gotten this apology? I doubt it. No respect for us in the first place
I don’t believe that cinder was anything more than a cash grab. I don’t trust that this apology is sincere. If it was it would’ve come out when Feral shut down. Companies only go silent like that when they know they’re in the wrong and they just hope it blows over, and when it inevitably doesn’t they make a shitty apology that’s really just a shitty defense.
I was never super involved with Feral as a game, but knowing the shit that went down, this reads less like an "I'm sorry" and more like an "I'm really bummed that the NFT thing didn't pan out and we didn't become bajillionaires off the backs of naive teenagers and adults with bad financial literacy".
I'm never going to accept that as an apology, YEARS later after the shutdown to it's demise. It was poorly executed and they jumped on the NFT bandwagon without a second thought whatsoever. So no, they can shove it where the sun don't shine. Sorry but they backstabbed me and a whole community. I won't be returning to ANY Animal Jam game until then.
There's nothin' new to see anyways. They don't bother to put any real effort into makin' the games interestin'. I gave away my AJPW account few months back to a UA-camr since it was pointless to hold onto it. He'd do better with the items anyways. It wasn't that hard to make that decision too surprisingly. I enjoy holdin' onto ol' accounts to look back on 'em as memories. One day hopin' to pass it to my kids. Animal jam though, wouldn't be a game I want meh kids to play.
@@Stirling-Shade I totally agree with you on this. If I had kids (Low chance anyway lol) I wouldn't want them to play a game related to WildWorks or anything.
@@Stirling-Shade Yeahh. Only reason why I play it nowadays is that its sometimes the only way I can communicate with my friends, but really its pretty stale and the wishing well animals bug me. Still thinking if the new company is doing better or not
@@Hail_scal3zzz Fr. I’m still waiting for it. Otherwise I will never be able to take their apologies seriously. The question is if it would also bring back everyone’s accounts or if we’d have to restart
They could've learned from their own damn game that hype ALWAYS dies down and shouldn't be long-term invested in. Learned this at 11 from animal jam... seriously
I don’t accept it. they literally betrayed a whole ass community, and went to nfts. N. F. TS. And I loved playing feral! I liked exploring the places, etc etc. and they do THIS??? No offence, but I ain’t accepting it. I’m not mad, I’m just.. really disappointed.
this is actually an okay apology! if it was released 3 years ago that is. jk, it wouldn't, he wouldn't even need to write this in the first place if they handled the situation well from the start 💀💀 if only they had better communication with the playerbase i guarantee that people wouldn't be this mad even if the game ended up closing anyways a perfect example is feral's last day, the game was supposed to be open for a last 24h, but then someone pointed out that in their OWN terms of service they needed to give an 1 month's notice before closing the game, so they postponed the last day for a month and REDUCED the time the servers would be open to only around 10h, i wasn't even able to play the game a final time because it was way too late in my timezone, my avatars are now lost media because they just couldn't be bothered to let the servers open for a little longer and why? because they were petty that someone pointed out their own mistake? were their servers way too overloaded or something? we will never know because they didnt communicate anything!
i appreciate the apology at least, but i'm still salty over the money i spent on that game when i could have spent it on soemthing that would have lasted 😭
@@smartistnerd366I was very tempted on buying the feral pass. I’m glad I didn’t as I still believe the game was too fresh and unfinished to even pay for anything
I don’t accept his apology, me and my sister loved that game. that was not necessary at all at the time, all it did was make things worse. There’s no way anyone could’ve been in their right mind when making a decision like that.
I just wish we had full access to all the assets so we can bring Feral back, if you do truly care about feral Clark…then bring it back! You owe us that much at least. It’s a shame this beautiful game that had so much potential got shut down for some crappy NFT game, worst decision they have ever made. I was there when feral came out, and I was there when it shut down. I am still heartbroken that I will never get to play this game again, it was one of the last online MMOs (like the ones from the 2000s) that we ever got…Feral deserves better.
There is a project that is still running feral up (kind of like what they did with club penguin) you can still play it however as far as im aware there are no updates of course and prob still buggy
I highly doubt his apology was sincere. He should've apologized years ago when this was all still happening. Ignoring players, letting his Discord moderators tease the playerbase, the highly unprofessional behavior towards the players... screw that. He's upset his NFT game died and has nothing to show for either games. Clark _is_ a bad guy in this, even if you disagree with that. He betrayed his entire gamebase, not just Feral's, by getting into NFTs.
I remember playing Feral a few years ago with my brother. I don’t remember what I did, but I do remember having fun. This apology SUCKS We don’t get our money back? We don’t get our game back? All we get is an “apology?” Pointless
It’s kind of sad it went down like this, NFTs did die out and they should’ve saw it coming. Only I’m still angry about all I tried on the game, at least Feral forever exist
Cinder’s fanbase was not chill at all 💀💀 half the server was just nftbros, and the other were actual racists lmao - trust me, I was in the trenches when this was all happening
I didn’t even know NFTs were a part of the reason shut down. And this apology comes way too late. This apology will never bring closure. At least not to me.
I will only PARTIALLY forgive him if he brings back feral. 🤨 the shit he pulled on all of us was unprofessional and cruel. I cannot forgive any of that. Although I still want the game feral back. They could easily bring it back, i would assume. Animal jam makes more than enough money to run itself AND feral while feral kicks off once again to support itself. I’m not buying the apology tbh. Several years too late.
I miss this game so much. I was so sad when this game shut down. This "apology" came years too late. The game could have became something really great. Now all I have left are screenshots of my old avatar. :/
I admit I have a hard time feeling sympathy for a man who handled things so unprofessionally that he had to drag his 6-year-old daughter into one of his videos for pity points, but the way he was treated over the shutdown was absolutely overkill and only served to give the company confirmation bias that "Feral fan bad".
I don’t agree with Clark whatsoever and I still believe that he’s a greedy hoe, however I couldn’t EVER imagine myself sending death threats, not even to the people who have hurt me the most throughout my life. That’s way too far and the people who did that need to get help.
I don't accept the apology. Just hurts how they quickly jumped into the NFT setting and basically kicking the community to the curb.. also how long they waited to finally put this apology feels iffy as well All i can say is that i hope wildworks improves as a company.
All this proves to me is that this man doesn't give two shits about anything he does. He will hop from project to project based on what's trendy and profitable. "Animal Jam's playerbase diminishing? Create a game that appeals to the nostalgic players who have aged out with a soft and cuddly feel. Wow, those NFT things are really big right now! I can make millions! Guess what? No more game. Game is dead. Reusing assets for NFTs BABY! TO THE MOON! Oh no! NFTs crashed because it was a dumb fucking idea? Better apologize to those people I pissed off to try and recoup my fiscal losses."
Bro took ages to “apologize “ The game had potential the NFT ruined it and after hearing about the NFT people started leaving , Reminds me of the saying “die a hero or live enought to become a villain “ Plus BARELY anyone knew about feral ,only AJ/AJPW players knew, how did they expect new players to come and stuff and they barely updated the game They should sell the game to another company (which idk if they even can with those NFT thing they did) or try again
Lol can we get the game back or our money back instead of a fake apology 💀 Feral was Age limited, and as soon as I became old enough, it shut down. I was always bitter about that because i came so close but they just destroyed everything. So give it back. Let me have what you took as soon as I felt hope.
I understand that Feral was failing, and I understand the desperation that may have come with it, but the NFT game was really the nail on the coffin. if anything they literally could have just been transparent, explained the situation to their fanbase, and I guarantee you more than enough people would have been happy to fund a kickstarter or something to “help save Feral”. either way what’s done is dont- and while I’m not happy that Feral shut down, I won’t lie when I say that playing the fan-revived version of Feral (EmuFeral) with everything being entirely free, is quite nice…
"Cinder was here to save Feral" is such a huge lie. Why shut Feral down & act like is predecessor was the only thing that existed. I appreciate him confirming some things players already suspected 3 years ago. I also feel bad for him getting death threats. that's really the most I can feel. I already felt weird when Animal Jam classic wasn't getting enough updates, but what happened to Feral made me decide to never spend another cent on a WildWorks game. (well maybe until their games aren't just gambling & pressing one button)
Apology not accepted. After the game shut down, I was feeling guilty because my parents spent money on the game passes for me. I still feel guilty. Ask my dad, I can’t ask for anything without having a nervous breakdown first.
I'm still very bitter about how things have gone. I've long since moved on, but thinking about Feral's potential and its future fills me with disappointment. I can accept Stacey's apology but I don't think I'm going to forgive him anytime soon.
If they still wanna make a animal jam hut for older kids at least make it have the charm and feel of animal jam and add more tween/teen elements like some vilince if they really want to. Just don’t make the mistake of adding nfts.
If they truly wanted to make it up to us and apologize, they’d bring it back with less pay to win bullshit. But ofc they won’t do that, wildworks just wants money ig. Feral itself was flawed, hopping on the NFT trend (because yes, that’s what it was, a trend. Realistically NFTs would never work out and everyone who bought into them with their life savings were just trying to be a part of something.) just sealed their fate
NFTS are so stupid like im not paying 50,000 dollars for a stupid sad monkey with futuristic sunglasses and a cowboy hat or smth the outfits are always mismatched
Not very long, only a few years. I didn't actually play Cinder but from word of other people the servers just consisted of nftbros or extremely toxic/racist/problematic people. Not chill at all
I'm taking this as the only closure we'll ever get, because it will be the only one. Clark's bitterness to keep blaming the community for unhinged bad apples that don't represent the whole is a real great move (/sarcasm), and his choices back then were stupid no matter how much he tries to think he's ahead of the times or that the CCP screwed him over (???). But since we will not be getting the game back and Clark seems content to not get involved much with WW (he's doing other things now and if he wants to chase after NFTs it's on him, he stepped down from the big role), I think this is the best we'll get. It sucks and is kinda weird, but it seems he's aware he's not going to win anyone over and a part of me hopes that him releasing this years later is better than pretending nothing happened, that he knows he screwed up to some degree. Some of the insight on the lack of communication and self reflection on the fact he screwed up with handling the Cinder announcement situation is at least somewhat welcome. Nothing we can do but move on I suppose. Still a really flawed apology and I'm not accepting it but at this point it's been years and my bitterness is spent. I just hope we don't cross paths with him in the future.
sorry for what? sorry for shutting down one of the best games wildworks had made at that point? sorry for not realizing just how _great_ that game would've been? man's pathetic af.
Sorry we shut down your game but a couple of you did bad things so the whole community was awful and didn't deserve my game, and you got in the way of my nft grift that totally would have saved feral source trust me bro.
I can accept that he intended to do it to save feral, but I can't forgive him turning to NFTs of all things, which are notoriously bad for environment because of how the blockchain works, to fund a game about the beauty of the natural environment. It's hypodritical and comes off in poor faith to me and many other people who were fans
All it felt like it was Reopening old wounds An apology years later?considering that nfts harm the environment it felt like they sorta betrayed animal jams whole environmental thing alongside those fans of the game who grew up with it. there were ways to fund it without nfts like kickstarters
This is genuinely the first time I hear about feral. And this video just confused me a lot, what was the feral gameplay or screenshots like? If there was any.
theres actually a lot of feral footage on the internet lol, the game was pretty documented ever since the closed beta, you can just search it up and see what it looked like there's also some videos here on youtube talking about the controversy of the closure of the game, if you want to see that in detail
This is just pathetic, to be quite frank. An apology 3 years late to follow the downfall of a failed NFT project is not an honest one. We are given this apology due to the failure of Cinder, and due to the mass amounts of players that Wildworks has lost following Ferals shutdown. If this apology was even slightly earnest, we would've received it years ago, and we would've been communicated with. For these details to be given YEARS after the incident is beyond ridiculous. We deserved these explanations at the time that everything was happening. I can almost assure you that if everything said here was 100% the truth, we would've been told long ago. There's no reason to withhold that information unless it was fabricated, and only needed to be fabricated after their losses. Cinder lived on after Feral was completely rid of. If Cinder had been solely for Feral to ensure its success, then it would've been rid of alongside our beloved game. I think sending him death threats were certainly overboard, but he does not deserve an ounce of respect or sympathy. It is his own fault that the community reacted in such a way. He didn't communicate. That is his fault. Not to mention that following boycotts and the refusal to buy anything from Feral is when our game had been shut down. It was a retaliation. That is his fault, for being upset with the community for being upset with HIS lack of communication. Everything that has happened is the result of his own negligence. He included the threats he received as pity points so that his apology would be accepted. This apology is a poor attempt to bring back players that were lost, and to rid the community of the anger that they STILL deserve to feel.
Yeah i dont accept the apology as there is such thing as Kickstarters for games exist and much but the threats was insane and the feral anger i witnessed was disgusting. I was still more of an animal jam fan then and saw a few take their frustrations out on it. Ik not everyone is like that but despite that i didn't expect it to be that bad.
I quite literally don’t see the point of apologizing at this point, its been about 2 years now. Any current interest in the game has been dead besides the emulator. I’m glad he acknowledged it but at this point it doesn’t do anything to the surviving community. I really doubt they would try to restart feral, something I would be open to but I do not think that would be financially feasible at this point.
didn't wildworks also make fun facts in animal jam regarding the environmental and energy costs of NFTs? lmao they're not even trying to hide the fact they're only in this for the money, willing to can entire games just to make crappy NFT clones of it. and then of course when no one buys it they come crawling back asking to be forgiven. i never got to play feral, but the fiasco was still depressing to watch. also, word of advice, don't overuse sound effects when you're showing multiple small images of a paragraph you're already talking about. personally makes it hard just to listen to, and more like one must *watch* the video despite it being text and no important visuals (i.e, video clips of the topic)
"We should have treated cinder players with respect" don't even try to pretend that was a problem. Cinder was never "necessary". It was a gamble that ended poorly. It was ALWAYS the wrong decision. And no-one who called Cinder out for being a problem should ever feel guilt. They were RIGHT. Cinder split the community, Cinder took the development team away from Feral. Cinder made the company look like they were only in it for the money. Never ever place blame on the fans who were given a lack of information and explanation. The fans are fully and entirely innocent of blame. You might say "What about the person who sent the death threats?" to which I say, it's odd how EVERY drama supposedly has someone sending death threats, yet no-one is ever named for it. Why? Because this is a lie companies make up to garner sympathy. It's a cliche tactic to twist the narrative. Edit: I just read the other comments and I did not expect to see not a single person accept this apology. I'm glad! But surprised. People have really gotten smart if no-one's falling for this. Really really great to see such a mature community that isn't going to back down to a greedy creator. I wish every community was like this so we'd have less predatory games still active.
Hey at least we have Emuferal, ran by a far better management team and developer studio. They're also working on the spiritual successor to Feral, called Mytherial!
Bruh I just see that as a total loss because if they want to make the game accessible now they will take actions agaisnt Fer.ever who makes stuff free even if you need to grind in game, now people who don't have much money will be at disadvantage again and people who grinded will lose everything
I mean the emulator should still be available even if feral comes back But at this point even if they brought it back, the player base won't really return and they won't earn anything to keep the game running.

It’s been years since I’ve played a wildworks game, but I don’t buy this apology at all. It’s been 3 years and I feel like we deserved an explanation a long time ago. I lost faith in wildworks a long time ago, and moved on to other things, but hearing an apology 3 YEARS LATER just pisses me off.
The only way I would ever accept an apology is if Pharaoh came back and I still had all my characters and items but I doubt that's ever going to happen. They destroyed something special. Something that I put time and energy into and invested myself into becoming a fan and then they strip it all away and put it behind a paywall. That's like not even half of what the original experience was. This will never be forgiven until the wrongs have been righted actions mean more than words
While I remember nothing of the issue ye wanna know what I think would've saved the game? Simply explainin' the issue 'bout the lack of funds, explain to the player base yer future plans, and then create a donation option for people who love the game the way it is. Give them a lil reward dependin' on how much they donated in the future as a thank you for donating. Then keep to yer word, implementin' features that ye explained to the players that ye wanted to add to the game. This builds trust. Plus it keeps yer game up and runnin'! No! That simple solution was too hard! Ye had to go and try to rip people off with NFTs. All because clark was stupid, impatient, and greedy. While I don't remember the shutdown. I adamantly refuse to forgive the guy.
clark is a horrible businessman, he has tarnished and mismanaged all his ip's and is a know liar and bad person. i dont see him getting anywhere in the industry with a history like that.
I won’t accept this apology. I had gotten too old to enjoy AJ and had seen this game on the App Store, I got it and deeply enjoyed it ( one of the only games I enjoyed playing by myself) it was a beautiful game and I honestly had so much fun and wanted to continue it! Then I hear that it was being shut down. For an NFT. I was devastated and disappointed. I am still bitter I couldn’t play it anymore. I won’t forgive this man with his “apology”. It just doesn’t feel good. If you want us to forgive you, bring feral back.
If you wanna play feral, there's a thing called Emuferal that I highly recommend. It does need discord to create an account and stuff but it's worth it
Sure it doesn’t make up for everything, but it at least makes the decisions made make sense. He saw that NFTs made huge money in the moment and thought it could give the short term financial boost they needed to fund feral. I’m still sad but less mad
Nah, fuck the cinder devs and the people supporting it. I was a 2nd wave beta player. We were robbed of our money promised so much and left with nothing so I have to mention the so called sunset event. Thats my only grip on this I just have a strong opinion. That was my comfort game that is what I invested a lot of my time and money into. I miss it so much.
I feel u. I also got into the beta and have spent money on the game. The game was honestly amazing, especially the graphics. It was very calming but also sometimes exciting and fun to play with friends. Voice chat was also a good idea imo. I’m very mad how all of this went down.
Even IF you guys don’t accept the apology (your opinion is completely valid❤) I never got into feral much, but, I’d say, even if you cannot accept the apology or get really mad at them enough to send death threats(which was NOT how you should EVER handle that issue) no one should have gotten harassed, I understand the anger, I would have been upset in your shoes, I did send harassing items in the past to content creators that were bad, but I realize my mistake a bit later, don’t harass anyone of this, even if you feel an apology is fake, harassing someone is no way to go, please don’t harass anyone in this and times were a little different, with the circumstances I understand why a few things had to be done, but the cinder thing was not so great in the long run, to the people who did enjoy cinder, I apologize you had to be harassed by people like this, even if I never knew what was happening, you still didn’t deserve it. To the staff getting death threats you didn’t deserve it either, though. The apology was too late and everyone deserves their own refund. there is a healthier way to express your anger toward the team, like talking to someone you know and who knew the community about your feelings. Don’t go harass anyone, no matter how much you feel you should, don’t. It’s not worth your time or energy, don’t send death threats or anything over being so mad about the game or anything. That’s my say on this situation, have a good day/night/evening sweethearts ❤

They burned it all away.
that last line goes so hard
So annoyingly true, and even if cinder managed to stay a float (which it wasn't) would we have gotten this apology? I doubt it. No respect for us in the first place
His wording holds much bias. I’m a writer and saw it instantly.
I was never super involved with Feral as a game, but knowing the shit that went down, this reads less like an "I'm sorry" and more like an "I'm really bummed that the NFT thing didn't pan out and we didn't become bajillionaires off the backs of naive teenagers and adults with bad financial literacy".
this is a load of barnacles
AJHQ: "I HEARED THAT!"
So where's our refunds for buying things if it never went to fer.al's development? Maybe he needs to bring it back. Heck. Neopets came back, why not?
Still thinking if the new company is doing better or not
theyre only sorry because their nft game dropped completely dead 💀
The best way to revive it is to bring feral back I don't even know what they're daddling on for
@@Hail_scal3zzz Fr. I’m still waiting for it. Otherwise I will never be able to take their apologies seriously. The question is if it would also bring back everyone’s accounts or if we’d have to restart
We all know damn well this apology is fake 😭😭 they don't actually have any remorse for what they done. Average heartless company
The only way they can make the apology to be real is to bring back farel fully.
im sure some of them did care, but idk if those are the ones speaking
We will never forgive them unless they bring the game back
They should’ve apologized YEARS ago… nfts always fail 😭
They could've learned from their own damn game that hype ALWAYS dies down and shouldn't be long-term invested in. Learned this at 11 from animal jam... seriously
I don’t accept it. they literally betrayed a whole ass community, and went to nfts. N. F. TS. And I loved playing feral! I liked exploring the places, etc etc. and they do THIS??? No offence, but I ain’t accepting it. I’m not mad, I’m just.. really disappointed.
Wildworks, you’re only sorry because we threw a massive fit over it and we called you out on your bull crap.
this is actually an okay apology! if it was released 3 years ago that is.
jk, it wouldn't, he wouldn't even need to write this in the first place if they handled the situation well from the start 💀💀 if only they had better communication with the playerbase i guarantee that people wouldn't be this mad even if the game ended up closing anyways
a perfect example is feral's last day, the game was supposed to be open for a last 24h, but then someone pointed out that in their OWN terms of service they needed to give an 1 month's notice before closing the game, so they postponed the last day for a month and REDUCED the time the servers would be open to only around 10h, i wasn't even able to play the game a final time because it was way too late in my timezone, my avatars are now lost media because they just couldn't be bothered to let the servers open for a little longer
and why? because they were petty that someone pointed out their own mistake? were their servers way too overloaded or something? we will never know because they didnt communicate anything!
ngl i think we should all get our money back cuz that was kinda bs that he just shut it down with no warning
i appreciate the apology at least, but i'm still salty over the money i spent on that game when i could have spent it on soemthing that would have lasted 😭
thank goodness i didn't buy more stuff
@@smartistnerd366I was very tempted on buying the feral pass. I’m glad I didn’t as I still believe the game was too fresh and unfinished to even pay for anything
@@jazzymare i bought the pass like, 3 times 😬
Agreed. I would've loved to get my money back.
We do, almost. People data ripped the shit out of the game almost instantly after the closure was announced.
EmuFeral my friend! The team behind it is also working on their own game feral inspired
@@hylianevalinkyooooo fr?
I highly doubt his apology was sincere. He should've apologized years ago when this was all still happening.
Ignoring players, letting his Discord moderators tease the playerbase, the highly unprofessional behavior towards the players... screw that.
He's upset his NFT game died and has nothing to show for either games. Clark _is_ a bad guy in this, even if you disagree with that. He betrayed his entire gamebase, not just Feral's, by getting into NFTs.
What he made was an excuse. You can see it in his wording of how he describes the community.
I remember playing Feral a few years ago with my brother. I don’t remember what I did, but I do remember having fun. This apology SUCKS
We don’t get our money back? We don’t get our game back? All we get is an “apology?” Pointless
No way they’re trying to shift the blame when they just made the shittiest decision ever out of greed
Honestly bummed out, not even got a chance to play as a Jackalope
So basically the “I’m sorry” oil spill scene from South Park…
An apology.. After all this time? 💀 Yeah no
The fact that some people thought it was ok to send the creator d3@th thr3@ts is CRAZY. Hope the creator is doing ok rn
@@EagleTimberWolf yup
Those people need to touch some grass, I'm also sad abt feral, but doing that is not necessary, its just a game. Dx
@@lohialli4205 fr
I don’t agree with Clark whatsoever and I still believe that he’s a greedy hoe, however I couldn’t EVER imagine myself sending death threats, not even to the people who have hurt me the most throughout my life. That’s way too far and the people who did that need to get help.
I don't accept the apology. Just hurts how they quickly jumped into the NFT setting and basically kicking the community to the curb.. also how long they waited to finally put this apology feels iffy as well All i can say is that i hope wildworks improves as a company.
oh BROTHER this guy stinks!
Bro took ages to “apologize “
The game had potential the NFT ruined it and after hearing about the NFT people started leaving ,
Reminds me of the saying “die a hero or live enought to become a villain “
Plus BARELY anyone knew about feral ,only AJ/AJPW players knew, how did they expect new players to come and stuff and they barely updated the game
They should sell the game to another company (which idk if they even can with those NFT thing they did) or try again
I'm still genuinely so sad about it shutting down, it was exactly the kind of game I like
It's a fake apology but at least now I can say I don't forgive them and start screaming at them

Np! More AJ videos coming haha ✨️
@@Sponix yippee!! :D
Lol can we get the game back or our money back instead of a fake apology 💀
Feral was Age limited, and as soon as I became old enough, it shut down. I was always bitter about that because i came so close but they just destroyed everything. So give it back. Let me have what you took as soon as I felt hope.
Like bring back the game if you want money so bad. 😊
I understand that Feral was failing, and I understand the desperation that may have come with it, but the NFT game was really the nail on the coffin. if anything they literally could have just been transparent, explained the situation to their fanbase, and I guarantee you more than enough people would have been happy to fund a kickstarter or something to “help save Feral”.
either way what’s done is dont- and while I’m not happy that Feral shut down, I won’t lie when I say that playing the fan-revived version of Feral (EmuFeral) with everything being entirely free, is quite nice…
absolutely wild they apologized NOW. hasnt it been like two years since it shut down or something?
Yes, since february 2022 as far as i can remember
@@raspb3rryVR thats wild bro
Absolutely nutty
Ain't no fucking way 💀
"Cinder was here to save Feral" is such a huge lie.
He's just trying to gather the fanbase back together because his other means of revenue dried up. Shameless :/
When I found out about Feral and how gorgeous it was, it was too late.. I couldn’t login or anything….
Clark waited for Kitsune dragon to die to kill off the game, screw him
I was thinking of making a video on this but you beat me to it! Awesome job on the video
I'm still very bitter about how things have gone. I've long since moved on, but thinking about Feral's potential and its future fills me with disappointment. I can accept Stacey's apology but I don't think I'm going to forgive him anytime soon.
I remember being bummed how I couldn't play the beta since my setup conked out
If they still wanna make a animal jam hut for older kids at least make it have the charm and feel of animal jam and add more tween/teen elements like some vilince if they really want to.
NFTS are so stupid like im not paying 50,000 dollars for a stupid sad monkey with futuristic sunglasses and a cowboy hat or smth the outfits are always mismatched
i do not accept this apology. I miss feral 💔
how long did blaze/cinder (whatever the hell the nft game was) even last???
Maybe 1-2 years
Not very long, only a few years. I didn't actually play Cinder but from word of other people the servers just consisted of nftbros or extremely toxic/racist/problematic people. Not chill at all
@@captainngoose shut down like a week before the 1 year anniversary
I am disappointed that feral is shutted down, I would’ve played it.
All it felt like it was Reopening old wounds
An apology years later?considering that nfts harm the environment it felt like they sorta betrayed animal jams whole environmental thing alongside those fans of the game who grew up with it. there were ways to fund it without nfts like kickstarters
This is genuinely the first time I hear about feral. And this video just confused me a lot, what was the feral gameplay or screenshots like? If there was any.
theres actually a lot of feral footage on the internet lol, the game was pretty documented ever since the closed beta, you can just search it up and see what it looked like
there's also some videos here on youtube talking about the controversy of the closure of the game, if you want to see that in detail
I just because 13 this year and I never have the chance to play it :(
There's a revival thing called Emuferal which lets you play it. It does require discord to create and verify an account, but it is worth it.
@@Selfdestructingwii I have discord how do u get?
They better bring the game back 🙏🙏
Yeah i dont accept the apology as there is such thing as Kickstarters for games exist and much but the threats was insane and the feral anger i witnessed was disgusting. I was still more of an animal jam fan then and saw a few take their frustrations out on it. Ik not everyone is like that but despite that i didn't expect it to be that bad.
Weren't you involved with cinder, Sponix?
I quite literally don’t see the point of apologizing at this point, its been about 2 years now. Any current interest in the game has been dead besides the emulator. I’m glad he acknowledged it but at this point it doesn’t do anything to the surviving community.
I really doubt they would try to restart feral, something I would be open to but I do not think that would be financially feasible at this point.
didn't wildworks also make fun facts in animal jam regarding the environmental and energy costs of NFTs? lmao
they're not even trying to hide the fact they're only in this for the money, willing to can entire games just to make crappy NFT clones of it. and then of course when no one buys it they come crawling back asking to be forgiven. i never got to play feral, but the fiasco was still depressing to watch.
also, word of advice, don't overuse sound effects when you're showing multiple small images of a paragraph you're already talking about. personally makes it hard just to listen to, and more like one must *watch* the video despite it being text and no important visuals (i.e, video clips of the topic)
They JUST APOLOGIZED? WHAT
Hey at least we have Emuferal, ran by a far better management team and developer studio. They're also working on the spiritual successor to Feral, called Mytherial!
I'm so hyped about mytherial tbh, can't wait for the release
@@Selfdestructingwii SAME!! Check out Kaimu as well if you havent already!!!
will they ever bring it back tho
Bruh I just see that as a total loss because if they want to make the game accessible now they will take actions agaisnt Fer.ever who makes stuff free even if you need to grind in game, now people who don't have much money will be at disadvantage again and people who grinded will lose everything
I mean the emulator should still be available even if feral comes back
But at this point even if they brought it back, the player base won't really return and they won't earn anything to keep the game running.

3) all of the girl characters have the same extreme hourglass figure as each other and the exact same cup size as each (all of the girls have 35-25-35 bust-waist-hip ratio and the C cup size, the only things that differentiate them are hair colors, eye colors, skin colors, hairstyles and clothings)

5) all of the characters that are animalistic deities in the original versions of their stories are now just as humanoid as the other characters (the only things hinting at their animal inspiration are their hairstyles that look like attributes of animals they are based on, for example, Bastet has buns that look like cat ears and a braid that looks like a cat tail)

Too little, too late, there's no apology that could make up for what Clark did.
Wait, now there's an apology? Didn't Feral get shut down like 2 whole years ago? 😭
I’ll forgive him a little but only if he brings the game back
The only way I would ever accept an apology is if Pharaoh came back and I still had all my characters and items but I doubt that's ever going to happen.
I adamantly refuse to forgive the guy.
nah-
clark is a horrible businessman, he has tarnished and mismanaged all his ip's and is a know liar and bad person. i dont see him getting anywhere in the industry with a history like that.

Feral Was a really fun game but they had to pull the plug to an nft that failed.
This apologies sounds a bit "corny", why wait some years to announce apologize
