as a "beginner" (200ish hours in trainer) Using a glass pad might be the best thing thats happened for my aim, Its helped me actually learn how to manage the tension in my arm and just overall mouse control a lot faster than I did on my old mudpad.
just ordered my first skypad today, one of the new 404 drop and this review came as a blessing! most in depth review out there, a lot of respect for the time you put into this! ❤
Just copped this for 61.30 euros from sale im so excited to replace my 1.5 year old worn out artisan pad with something faster. I think it will make me more motivated to aim train aswell because i know i will be shit for the first 2 months after using this worn out shit and g640 for so long. edit watching the reviews after buying a product as usual sadly didnt get to use ur code great review !
Aww it's way louder than I thought. Idk about buying a new mousemat every 6 months, I have the glorious mousemat which I bought for $30 two years ago, whenever it gets dirty I just stick it in the washing machine and it works like new again. Plus one machine wash every few months is way less of a time sync than constantly cleaning dust off the skypad. I still want one though somehow. I just tried this old dirty razer hard pad in Valorant and even though you don't recommend staying rock hard in tac shooters it felt great to me I was hitting some insane multikills headshotting with every bullet. I want to live rock hard.
@@dokiww I guess I know the 3.0 is quite fast but the price tag is also heavy, I was looking at different mouse skates and trying to see which ones are ideal
Hey question, i have a gpx & skypad and im currently master with gm reactive & static, ive had my gpx and skypad for about 4 months now. what aftermarket mouse skates would you recommend? im currently looking at tiger ice but i dont want anything much faster than current stock.
Hard question to answer, tiger ice and corepads are both faster than the stock feet on a GPX (stock is quite slow), there's not much on the market that is that slow
@@dokiww alright, I heard corepads get "muddy" overtime. should I just buy those and replace them every 2 months instead of tiger ice once every 4 months?
@@AngryAimer no specific time needed, usually I just change them when they don't feel as fast (for me that's about 2-3 months), also note corepads comes with 2 sets of feet instead of 1 like tiger ice, so that's something to consider as well
That depends on whether or not you want a faster pad, personally I think if you want to get good at static skypads aren't worth it (not that it's impossible to get good at static on glass, I just believe its harder)
@@dokiww I beg to differ, now everyone is obviously different. but for me static used to be my WEAKEST before i bought skypad & gpx. i went from dia to gm in a month and a half. I can attest though, static was literally impossible at first but it became very easy after a while
Disclaimer: I haven't tried glass skates Speed wise I don't think you gain much if at all going to a skypad, however it could potentially be a durability and consistency improvement since I've heard reports of glass skates being affected by humidity and also having poor durability as the coating wears off (not sure about this, would love to hear your experience!)
@@dokiww my superglides have worn down considerably after only 2 months of usage and the speed is definitely noticably slow to the point where its speed is comparable to ptfe skates
@@dokiww Appericiate the info dude! Waiting for my dav3 and thinking about the skypad. Also, do you use 6/11 on windows pointer speed or lower for easier loot menus? Also, stock skates or tiger ices?
@@nir300 I use 4/11 windows since I find it easier for armor swaps The stock skates aren't bad in terms of speed, but they are quite thin and mine needed to be changed in under a month, so I recommend some tiger ice along with a skypad

How about superglide glass pad?
if u put mouse on wooden smooth desk does it feel slower or faster then skypad?
Hi, would you still have this skypad 2.0 xl model, would you like to sell it?
What about Razer glass pad?
Did you change your in game sens to adjust ?
Thoughts on the new superglide mousepad?
Unfortunately I don't have one so I can't really speak on it confidently
But can I bash the head of my enemies with it
Yes

I have the cerapad but was thinking about the 3.0 idk
personally I don't have a cerapad, but I've heard it is slower so the question is do you want something faster
