Brian has helped me tremendously. I’ve had one FaceTime meeting with him two weeks ago, and have done my best to follow his advice. I bought John Kabat-Zinn’s full catastrophe living, and have tried to implement its teachings into my daily life. I’m doing much better than before but I’m still patiently working on it...I’m still somewhat confused about how to go about ERP properly without it becoming a ritual, and it scares me but that is something I have to embrace. Brian I will be getting in touch with you in the next few days to schedule another meeting. Still a few things I need a better understanding of. Thanks for all that you do for us.

Brian, great video brother! I try not to continue to watch everything on UA-cam but I keep getting notifications whenever you post so I like to check them out when I can. Just want to serve as a benchmark for a lot of people struggling: treating the OCD is step 1. Learn to live in harmony with it. Stop fighting and start living. The only way to fix OCD is to literally find new thoughts to think of. And this can only happen if you chose NOT to engage with your thoughts. You may soon find that the obsession in and of itself holds much less weight than you previously imagined. I can attest to the fact that this obsession does exist and unfortunately harms a lot of innocent people. Hate me if you want, but I cannot stress enough that you need to STOP trying to answer this dumb ass question.

Because at the end of the day, you live your life by your choices. You live life by your values. And wherever the current takes you, it will take you there. And you will be as safe as you were before OCD. Trust me, there is light. Allow yourself to experience anxiety. Use it as an opportunity to improve and just tell yourself fuck it. I’m still going to live my life and focus what I want to focus on. Trust me when I tell you your life is not controlled by OCD. You are in fact your own worst enemy if you think that. You beat OCD by eliminating your obsession. Point blank period.

Hey, I was just wondering if I can hopefully ask you a question about hocd. I'm struggling because I was very scared. Now, I'm not feeling as much anxiety about it. im not even experiencing anxiety about not having anxiety, I was wondering if this is normal when trying to get over it

You probably arent a hocd sufferer anymore but we can't avoid the sexual thoughts that pops in out head even to this day. Like Ocd is like a scar, u can't unlearn it u just know u had it and then ur not bothered anymore.

Hi Brian how do you deal with the accepting of uncertainty we’re you get to the point we’re you don’t care anymore as I can do now most days. But it feels so strange not worrying about it anymore and not having anxiety that you start to spike about not obsessing anymore as it feels strange. Almost like the brain wants to take you back. Is this because it has been so ingrained in the brain that it will take time to adjust to the not worrying and caring about it anymore? Or do you think it could be a back door spike.
    Kind regards

Sorry I am learning english and I don't understand at all, but I have a doubt respect the fist commentary, you say that we have to accept the possibility of be gay? or be in the very deep? I don't understand that commentary about the uncertainty

Espero hables español, soy latino y no hablo inglés.
La incertidumbre se refiere a no responder si somos o no gays sino dejar la incertidumbre pasar, no hacerle caso.
Que llegue el pensamiento de "y si soy gay" y dejarlo pasar, no ceder ante la necesidad de responder
