TMike Another great video. I have question for you, I'm working on a 1939 HD39 2.5 HP Johnson. The magneto plate has a thin coating like undercoating that all the electric components sit on, should it be cleaned off or is it there or a reason. Thanks.
I don’t work on that vintage - my specialty is 50s & 60s so I can’t say for sure. When in doubt clean clean clean. Just me talking. Thanks for your kind words.
