Hi, I like what you do. I have several 1/18 airplane models in my collection. My holy grail is my Jolly Rogers F-14 Tomcats. Just to tell you, that the German version of the Saber, was manufactured at the Montreal factory in Canada by the Canadair Ldt Company under the name CL-13 has its plan #4 under the North Amircan Aviation license.

I am trying to find one.
It's a CL-13 RCAF Sabre, not a USAF F-86, meaning it was built in Canada under license to North American Aviation and then shipped over to Germany to join the Luftwaffe in the Cold War years.

I hope you see this, I love your channel but it’s disappointing seeing the models in your reviews selling for $300-500. Is there any way to stay on top of the game and catch these models when they’re new and not “rare” and overpriced? I saw a Stuka from 21st century toys on your channel that had a sticker on it that said something like $39.99. Now on eBay that model is like $300! Please help a broke boi out and tell me how I can catch these models before they get so pricey after they come out. Thank you

I got lucky and got most of mine from a collector who was in the military. Yes I agree they are super expensive now

I got most of my collection (over 175) from a local collector. Everything else comes from facebook groups or ebay.
Super! Have always preferred the Luftwaffe's paint scheme, cos I grew up with such a scale model on display. One thing it DID have that this didn't: scale J47 engine that can be made visible by pulling out the tail.

A NEW VIDEO
All right, the luckiest modeler guy in the world is back. Almost no way to make an F-86 look bad:-) Saved our butts in Korea. I wonder if the companies that made them kept their tooling and molds. In today's crazy world maybe someone would buy them out - maybe Elon MUSK, he'd probably make them fly. Great video as always.

I was so disappointed when I got mine, some 10 or so years ago, of course I only paid like $45, but the lack of detail, I just wasn't a fan, I ended up repainting it, and selling it for a profit.
