Of all Hornets in service worldwide, the Swiss have always maintained theirs the best in terms of their appearance. They look absolutely mint, and I really like their bespoke steely blue/grey colour.
The Hornets already have internal cracks in the wings and fuselage. That’s why the new F-35s are so important. No one knows how long the F/A-18s can still fly.

Thats is some of the best footage of Hornets at Meiringen I have ever seen - even after UA-cam's compression Algorithm messed with it... Wonderful and very detailed. When landing gears retract, wheels stop turning - I have never before seen/noticed that on a video! Interesting air base, too. Public roads crossing runway and a taxiway.
