Quickjack Will Make Things Much Easier Around the Garage

- As I begin the next stage of my BMW 335is build I decided to make the process of working under my car safer and more spacious. In this video I’ll go over my new QuickJack 5000TL and demonstrate it’s lifting ability and see just how much more room I’ll have to install my turbos.
Current Mod List. I will update this list for each of my video uploads so that it accurately reflects the modifications done to the car at the time of the upload. Obviously the newest upload on my channel will be the most up to date mod list.

You'll love this quickjacks. I've been using one for over a year now to maintain 2 cars - Audi Q5 and BMW E92 328i Xdrive.
Yes, my BMW looks like your car but with the N52 engine. This car has been excellent considering the high mileage of 118K, the interior is very good condition and the exterior is good for the age. The mechanical stuff, I've changed out all the fluids except for the engine coolant and the car feels good mechanically. Obviously, not new anymore but I think it will do well for another 5 years easily.

I don't know why but I just discovered your channel today. Why does UA-cam seem to leave certain channels out when you do specific searches exactly pertaining to the channel or videos from that channel??!! Grrr! LOL. Sigh.......Well anyway I'm very glad I'm here now and get to watch the build all in a row until it's caught up. Thank you for doing this and doing the hard work for videoing it all. That takes a lot of hard work. I love these cars! I've had two. One a few years ago 2008 335i and now another one 2008 335XI. I didn't want the "XI" but the price was so right and I had just learned about the "XDelete" App so I could turn it into a rear wheel drive only that a had to scoop it up! I also have a 2002 330CI that has been completely swapped out to a 2006 E46 M3 Manual! Man I'm in love with my cars!! LOL. Anyway thank you again and I'll be watching and I'm fully subbed bell rung etc! ROCK ON!
Thanks for the love! I had Xdelete flashed on my old 335xi and loved it. Especially since I live in Midwest and needed AWD for the snowy months. Kinda crazy how the new M cars have the ability to switch between AWD and RWD now.

What kind of creeper are you going to get, definitely going to need one that pivot you’re back at a good angle. Duel post post lift would’ve got you twice the height. Just my opinion..I love everything you’re doing!!
I just have a basic one that folds from a rolling stool into a flat creeper. Gets the job done.

@@midwestbmw1292 Yep! my ram sounds the same also with the flowmaster. And my IS is white and is a MT with 38k miles. Im currently doing and engine build on it. 8 bolt block , 6 bolt crank/head CP pistons, Arrow Precison rods, 11mm arp's, etc.. Do you still think that SLG 8.8 swap was worth it? I am already running their f8x brake setup and love it. but and not sure if i should just bite the bullet and go all out and run the SLG drivetrain like you did or just run an mfactory diff.
@@nate9114 if you’re going that far into the build, as it sounds like you are, then yes get the SLG 8.8. It’s a game changer. Now I will say that it is noisy and clunky but it’s the price you pay for indestructible. I know a few guys that are running it and we all agree it’s definitely not a refined kit with regards to NVH but it’s awesome from a performance standpoint.
Im in the midst of sourcing a donor N54 for this winter so I can do a full engine build on the side while I enjoy my car as it is. Once these turbos/engine break then I’ll swap in the built motor, big ST kit and shoot for 4 digit power figures.
@@midwestbmw1292 I really want a OEM feeling diff for it. Im going to run the m factory and see if it brakes. Just ordered a speedtech top mount, and the engine block is in the machine shop. I got all my parts from VAC motorsports its almost game time. I think I am going to make a video for the build.

If I were you I would go with relocated inlets!!
B58 coil kit!!
I’m going with relocated inlets, B58 coils and Fuel It stage 3 kit with PI. It’ll be a 650-700hp car. Coupled to a DCT trans and a Ford 8.8” rear end, it should be an absolute missile.
