Nice 07. When I do BMW pump jobs in my shop, I always remove the Radiator and replace ALL the hoses....makes it so much easier and I dont get customers bitching 10k miles later when a hose blows.
I really needed your help on my 530xi this helped me perfect! Thank you!
So was the 40AMP fuse by the engine blown? And was the pump fuse on the car battery blown? Little confused because after you said "It did not work," you went to fuse by the engine but did not say it was blown. You just pointed to show where it was. My fan is going hard, same problem?
sounds like over heating checked asap
Hello there ,i have bmw 116i e87 with electric pump, when i start bleed test it works fine, but when i start car it dont work, should pump work all time or it start at some temp. My car is overheating...,termostat is brand new.tnx
How is your car now, is it still overheating
Awesome video Bro. Very helpful! Ty
Whilst it is stripped down check the wiring plug with a multimeter. Mine was missing the permanent 12v feed this was the issue so wasted my money buying a new pump. Fuses were OK, so I snipped the wire on the plug and ran my own permanent 12v to the plug and bingo the pump was working.
Darn there is absoulutely no space on the xi models. My god that is very difficult to remove
I had to remove the support plate to get to the rear hose like he showed on the video. I also removed all the bolts first, so I could move it around to get to that rear clamp. After I did that, I was able to get it out. Tough job. Now I'm going to try to put it together...
I know I'm late to the party here, but how did you get the nuts off that power steering hose bracket? I may be an idiot, but when I try to unscrew them the entire bolt moves along with the nut and the rubber part in the middle twists. I can't get the nuts to budge on either side.
Great video by the way, super helpful to see the AWD model!
You have to capture/hold the rubber isolator with a 17mm spanner at its base, other wise you'll twist and rip the rubber mount. I did my pump a week ago.
i baught a used bmw X1 S20i, now i have to replace the water pump So my quiestion is based on what i watch Should i keep on Replacing the water pump every 80k miles
Like come on man show how all how you removing the clamp the hoses...!!!!!
My e90 328xi i've just bought have only one code: 2E84: el. water pump, communication error; Test conditions not yet fulfilled; current fault existing, OBD not yet debounced; fault caused NO signal at MIL lamp. But there is check engine lamp all the time. Pump is working, but my tester shows always 0% load, no matter how fast it works. Could somebody say what's wrong?
I have an 04 z4 2.5i I do all the wrenching myself but how do i find a vacuum leak in it, I'm running lean in bank1 after the 108k service new sparks and what not. Also my airbag light womt go off everything's plugged in properly
👍👍👍great video as usual👍👍👍

pelican parts is saying foe XI models its easier if you just remove radiator and fan
How did you remove the hose from the back of the water pump?
I have no idea which one to remove
I replaced my pump and thermostat and still is not working?? HELP??
Did You find the issue?
I got an O'Reilly's ad 😂
"Its gonna be a good one...." hahaha ! And it was.
I just put in a new pierburg water pump and am still getting the 2e84 code even after replacing the pump so not sure why the new one is not working either, fuses are good too smh. did clear the codes also
Check ur grounds, and check the power distribution box
@@alakhiymuhammad-lt7wl it was a missing fuse btw
@@BmwMe-uh9sy oh😅 classic!
I have that exact crappy prybar in the same shape... looks just like mine
It only works for doing things you shouldn't be doing with a pry bar lol
Any one out there know as to why electric pump on bmw 320i, F30 continue to run even after ignition switched off, thus draining the battery, thx
2 hrs to put the pipe back absolutely no space
Good video man
Why does BMW make it so difficult to work on the vehicles ?
So you can go and freaking paid them!!!
