After having the dough rest and proofed twice, the dough was softer but still dryer than your version. After baking the lil buns, the end result still turned out pretty good, to my delight and relief!😌 I have heard this before that the weather/humidity level affects how your dough turns out. It’s Fall season right now, and my house is very dry, so that could be a factor. Sharing this in case anyone else experienced this. I enjoy watching your videos, Inga!

Btw Inga, I just realized the recipe is similar to our own Pinoy breakfast milk bread, PANDESAL! The only difference that I can see is we used bread crumbs to cover it instead of flour :)

I made these, and they are just as soft and pillowy as she described! I made them with all purpose flour, so they weren't as stretchy as inga's, but they were still delicious. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone considering making them. they're totally worth the minimal effort!

This was the first recipe I made in my new kitchenaid and it worked!!! I will say that the buns came out smaller than I anticipated but I’m grateful inga said how many grams her dough was so that I could make sure my dough rose enough. Thank you!!
I like using milk powder when I bake because it does give baked items some little something something. I like baking bread, it kind of relaxes me and puts me in a calm mind space. Wow they came out nice! The crumb on them is amazing!

when Inga suggests you to try this recipe, YOU TRY THE RECIPE. IT IS TOTALLY WORTH THE WORK. My recommendations are to use the metric measurements, add the instant yeast to the dry mixture, then add the warm milk and finally, knead it by hand. I found this way much easier because you got the precise amount (i used the imperial measurements rather than the metric measurements and my first go came out too dry and the dough was VERY stiff) , as well as the hands on feeling of knowing when the dough is good (and also gives me a small workout)

Update on this: I ended up adding a good amount of milk after the butter was incorporated until my dough became soft and they turned out perfect🫡

For anyone trying to make this, in the description she translated grams to cups wrong, 180 grams is actually 3/4 of a cup not 2/3 ☺️
