Three out of three, well done indeed, so inspiring. Makes me want to unbox and paint my 20 year old Grail and Knights of the Realm too, even if they never see the light of the battlefield! 👍
Fantastic force and great result. It certainly shows that if you prepair for battle you have a ton of advantage. Bretonnia also still looks really strong so the results are there. Great job!
It is nice to see more tournament results now coming out. How was the army variety? With Bretonnia and Tomb Kings being the first released armies, where they over represented?

I'd love to see your list breakdown with Magic Items and such to inspire some of my lists. TOW is new enough I have no idea what will work compared to back in 6tgh when I played regularly
Spreading the Underworld love! Hope to face you at some point there when I manage to get an Old World army together, aiming for a Chaos army and inspired by your video showing how to rebase them to work in TOW.
Amazing! Have really appreciated your tutorials and content over the last year or so, first starting with the Cadians and now with Bretonnia. Congratulations on your win, Andy! I was grinning when you let slip you seized the day.
Congrats! I'm really looking forward to playing some Old World games. As for your next expansion I'm a stickler for the Grail Relique with Battle Pilgrims galore and of course the tree-bucket.(trebuchet)
Cool video, definitely looking forward to my first games next week! What was your favourite model from your opponent’s side? (Whether due to painting, conversion, nostalgia at an old mini )
@@MediocreHobbies If there's one unit to cut out, It's definitely the filthy peasants. They would make all your other knights look even better in comparison, though.
Just curious about which rules people are using. I understand that Brettonia, Tomb Kings and the ‘legacy’ factions have new rules for the old work but what about factions like orcs and goblins that are yet to get their (re)release? Are there faction rules within the main book, and are these just what each faction gets in their own books?
how would you have done if you did replace the men of arms with archers?? as magic spel i do like glittering robes(-1 to hit) from illusions and replace one of your spells for the ladys gift (regenerate 56+/5+)
I'm about to start painting the britonian starter box myself. I'm unsure how I want to do the 2 units of knights though. I'm leaning towards both units being knights of the realm. I'm torn on doing g an over all army paint scheme like GW did with the red\black or going for somthing totally different. Should I save the more fancy and colorful pageantry for when I can get my hands on some grail or questing knights or do that with my knights of the relm?? Appreciate some advice!
Have you watched my painting videos? It does take a while if you're doing individual colors for every knight! I do a bit of a mix, I have a large amount of red and black forces that in my head come from the Lord who would have brought along the biggest army to the fight. Then there's some units with a different colour scheme(but they all match) that have come from a neighbouring lord. For my Grail Knights and Questing Knights(that I'm currently painting on youtube) I decided to treat them as special characters because their units are made up of knights from different areas traditionally. Basically I'd think about what the story of your army is. If it one large army on the move under one Lord? Has he called in some favours to fight a larger enemy that will affect the Realm? That might be the best way to decide? I hope this helps, and make sure you check out all the schemes I've done so far in case they help too!
@@MediocreHobbies yep I never miss a video! I love your content! And I think you hit the nail on the head. I think for my main army I'll be doing a somewhat similar scheme for them all. Then when I get my hands on (if they ever come back in stock) a unit of grail and questing knights I'll do them up in the individualized colorful way. Thanks for letting me pick your brain.
Nice to hear that your vanilla list did as great as it did. No magic items as you said and no hero hammer and you seemed to have smashed all three games.
1500 points opens up dragons so being able to get monster killer or multiple wounds is clutch. Tooling up the baron plus a prophetess and a bsb and you’re done with not much extra painting.
Ye for sure the Barron need to be tooled up fully. And yes to deal with with monsters. I do fancy a bsb perhaps on a peg as well and a lvl4 would be nice but I’m not adding much pinch to the army this way. It’s a tough one.
It’s less direct punch more counter to the boogeymen rising up. As primary HE player, if I have a dragon nothing you have bothers me. It will stomp anything in the list and roll into the next thing next turn. The lvl 4 is more a counter to enemy vortex’s or buffs to blunt your charges. The plus 3 inch deny makes them a viable play where the enemy has trouble denying you back. BSB is just to help those leadership checks when you get stuck in and don’t wipe something first turn.
The Baron mused as he watched the men at arms unload barrels of wine for the victory banquet not fifty yards away. The rain had set in for the evening as they struggled moving the heavily burdened carts sinking into the bog. Those filthy peasants have no idea the sacrifice I made saving them from the fate of the fae folk lord he thought.
So I know you can get printable water slide transfer sheets, so what about typing out unit and individual model deeds in a calligraphy font and then printing it in a ridiculously small font size then cut out and apply them to the mini's in question? You would probably need to number the mini's on the underside of their bases and wait till you have a pages worth to print. Great work bud! Bret question for you: Do Battle Pilgrims get the Blessing of the Lady wardsave, or only the actual Grail Reliquae model?
They do not. Only the dead knight himself.

They were indeed allowed. As far as I can see from the chatter. Only GW events won’t allow legacy armies. Every other event seams keen.
Glad the event went well 🙂

knights are so strong, looks like an amazing army
It was good fun using them.

Loved seeing the unit of fully painted old chaos trolls. Even back before I never seen them.
My suggestion is to take a unit of Questing Knights & Mounted Yeomen, so you have the entire Bretonnia cavalry line in one army list!
I was honestly thinking the same big without the yeoman. If I add the questing I’d have all the knights in the book in one army.
@@MediocreHobbies If there's one unit to cut out, It's definitely the filthy peasants. They would make all your other knights look even better in comparison, though.
@@Tukenukemus can’t. Have to take at least one unit in the army.
