@@AhmedOkby The engine being mounted in the middle means that the exhaust gets affected by movement of the engine a lot more. It's like when you rev a car and look in the engine bay the engine moves about, but the exhaust is connected to the chassis in multiple places before the back, reducing the movement.

The Boxster should have used launch control - but it didn't!! All tests show Boxster S and Audi TTRS posting near identical acceleration times. You're right about the TTS, far too slow in this company.

Was going to ask the same question. They would've had their tails between their legs if the ttrs rolled up.

man that z4 looks and sounds amazing for its price of 49,750 dollars and a jaguar f type has a price rang from 67,000$ to 80,000$ so the z4 definitely beat the f type in my opinion.

What you should so is set the cruise control to 70mph in the brake test so there is no advantage/disadvantage from lifting off

The BMW started nearly half a second ahead of the Porsche, and finished slightly behind it. That means it did Not do the quarter mile in 12.3, but nearly half a second slower than that. The timing is obviously supposed to start when the car starts moving, Not when one of the other cars do.
This is just so enjoyable to watch.

Some of these vehicles are 2+ tons of metal and leather to take the kids to school and for the wife / girlfriend to look good.
You cant off road them because they are to expensive and you wouldn't want to damage it and they dont work off road because the tyres and computers say no and something would definitely break!
So were left with a section of motor vehicles that are pesudo vehicles, that look like an off roader, with the performance of a sports car and the high end luxury of a 5 series or E class, which is trying its hand a being a good all rounder for everyone but not able to fully deliver on any exact point in its design if pushed but a very good money making exorcise for each particular manufacturer.
If I had unlimited money, there wouldn't be SUV in my garage but a 1990 Defender 110 would be because it would do what it was made for.....Getting very muddy and driving up massive hills and making me smile 👍🏼

Not really. The TT RS Produces 400 bhp and is in a different league. The Z4 is an M performance model, not a full blown M. Maybe there will be a full blown Z4M again, then you can pit it against the TT RS :-) When it is still around by that time, that is...

It would be close, but would lose against a properly launched Boxster S (the Boxster clearly didn't use launch in this test). You're right in that t he TTS is far too slow in this company.

@@Cat0620 Exactly! The Audi did very well considering but it wasn't fair. The regular TT Quattro is a blast to drive so I'd imagine the TT-RS would be super awesome. A TT's looks belies its abilities. The TT-RS comes in about the same price as the Z4 M40i.
