Sounds like he’s taken advantage of your trusting nature, Matt! Sorry to hear this! Once I drove 120 miles to see an E34 525i that was in ‘very good condition’ during the test drive the passenger window dropped into the door, despite the owner trying desperately to hold it in place. Then I went over a speed bump and the boot flung open, the owner got out and tried to lock it closed with the ignition key, which then snapped off, leaving me to walk back to my car! Definitely a lucky escape. A few years later I wanted to buy a 14 year old 170k mile Passat from a dealer. I rang him and said ok it’s 14 years old. What’s broken? And he said the air con, and a rear passenger door doesn’t open/close and the wing is a bit rusty. I turned up, it was exactly as described, it drove nicely and I bought it, and it was my daily for the next 6 years. Why can’t people just be honest?
I’m also a MK1 TT owner and looked at a lot of rough examples before buying the one I have. I think the problem is they’ve reached a price bracket where anyone can afford to buy one but then they’re often not maintained like a 20 year car should be and run into the ground. For what’s it’s worth the sills are bolt on and you can get still get them, there are plenty of second hand exhaust systems out there and all of the suspension bushes are relatively cheap. Airbag light are sometimes a result of the connector under the seat being disturbed and may clear with a battery disconnect or a VAG aware diagnostic like VCDS. Maybe you can sell the car on to someone who wants a project and doesn’t mind the time and effort sourcing the parts and then the weekends fitting them. I suspect the previous owner was also aware of these issues and it’s out of order that they didn’t describe the car as it was. Genuinely gutted for you mate as you’re decent honest bloke and you can see this in your videos you post.
Agree with your assessment. Another ex-TT owner here (my lovely wee absolutely mint roadster was recently T-boned and killed) it's a shame he picked a wrong 'un, but apart from the paint which is, to be fair, a biggie, I'd be keen to know if he saw any photos before purchase? Dud pixels on the instrument panel - absolutely standard issue and always one to look for, exhaust - it doesn't hang right in the piece (21:25) so an easy spot, suspension - it's a Golf so not difficult to fix (and I'd always put a new one together anyway) one key? not a problem really. Getting hold of parts for a TT is a piece of cake. I know, I've bought most of them! The TT is cheap for a reason, but if you get a decent base unit then it can be made as new fairly easily. I suppose I'm still in the grief stage as mine was a labour of love!
You're a man of integrity Matt! We stand or fall by our reputations! It takes years to establish a good reputation but moments to lose it. Respect to you for taking the hit. A case of swings and roundabouts I guess and we shouldn't forget all the honest sellers out there or the wins in the past.
that's how I brought my children up : honesty , integrity and the value of your word , once given . tempered with a degree of realism as they grew older - we share this planet with , well , you know what .....
Methinks the seller was fully aware of the vehicles 'issues' hence the sale. It is a risk you run in your line of work I guess, does not make it acceptable however - never ceases to disappoint me how willing some people are to rip others off. A little more honesty & integrity in the world would surely help imho.
I think the worst part is that from the beginning you mentioned it was a viewers car. No true viewer of this channel would ever try pulling something like this on you Matt
Glad to see everyone is in agreement on the whole - It’s really peed me off this. You’re a very honest, thorough and decent car dealer and clearly very trusting that people (especially subscribers) who you buy cars from are the same! It’s not right and it means, understandably, you’ll be a bit less trusting of people in the future. This person definitely knew what was going on from what they said. I feel like they’ve spoiled it for everyone really! Hope it doesn’t demotivate you, Matt 🤞🏻
i bought a stolen car and checked on car vertical showed clear then checked on hpi /cap shows as theft recovery so i will not be using car vertical again 👎👎👎
Too bad, Matt. I feel for you. I've been following you for years now and you always struck me as a great, simple honest chap I would love doing business or having a beer with. I hope you get as much as you can to minimize losses and the rest covered by this video 🤞🏻 Keep up being great. Cheers 🙌🏻
@@denaco probably, but that's not really the point, because if the car was decent (as one would expect if you buy something from someone who knows you), those would be profit for his work and not just "making up for the losses", know what I mean?

This is why I could never buy and sell cars, I’m an engineer so am obsessed with knowing every last fault and I would find it difficult not to tell the next person, trader or private. I really like these TTs and it’s a shame you got let down. Remember though, there are a lot of dodgy traders out there too!
The seller was fully aware of the state of the TT. A proper C U Next Tuesday. You were taken advantage of as you are an honest guy with integrity morals and standards. Hopefully you can recoup a bit of your outlay so your not massively out of pocket. On to the next one mate.
I've lost count of the amount of times car traders have said to me "it's a 20yr old car, what do you expect" lol. Had it today when I went to see an MX5 in "excellent" condition. There was more rust than paint on the sills, when I pointed it out I got the "what do you expect" line. Waste of 4 hours and £50 in train fares so I feel your pain.
You always seem very fair and honest in your dealings and you have been taken advantage of on this one because you brought the car unseen, - the seller has been rather economical with the truth as they say! If its any consolation I think your channel has helped to improve the reputation of used car dealers and given us the viewers more insight into what you have to do to sell used cars professionally.
I feel sorry for you as you’re always very honest yourself I’m surprised the rust issues didn’t show up on the MOT but he must have known scout the paintwork, air con, airbag light etc I’ve watched you since you started and these lemons di appear quite rare for you luckily Keep your chin up Matt
I love the Audi TT, I'm not mechanically minded I've currently got a 3.2 mk1 and before I bought it privately, I got a full RAC inspection. The two I looked at before I settled on my current one where to put it politely, sheds. I'm now looking to get a mk2 3.2 and now I know how to check the MOT history on line, it takes a lot of worry out of the process but I will still get an RAC inspection done before I buy, why wouldn't you.
We must learn from our mistakes, so I guess you'll rely less on Car Verticle next time, and you won't be buying any cars before you've seen them. The good that comes from this is your kindness at passing your bad experience on to the rest of us to learn from. Thanks
Gutted for you Matt. There's no way he didn't know about the issues. They're still good cars in the right condition, but all the common failure points were present. I'd wager it didn't get up to temperature properly either because of a faulty thermostat. There should be away to complain and return it as it wasn't as described, but unfortunately, he has taken advantage of your good nature. Hopefully, you can keep your losses to as little as possible.
There are laws when you really sell something with faults that you should have been aware of and mention to the buyer but its just too much of a hassle to go through all that just to get a few hundred quid back for a car that maybe should have been a sell for parts thing or put up to be a project car to fix it up back to decent standards. It will cost more in legal steps to get that than actually do the minimum fixes and sell it and take the loss.
I think that was done to get the attention of a young & naive buyer, who would get excited about the prospect of driving a shiny red sports car, and getting the attention that it brings and only examine the car skin deep before buying it . A Sports car with a dull, faded paint job isn’t going to appeal to many...
This car was for sale for a while in the north east of England.... Newcastle area....it was known locally as a lemon It was sold and then appeared immediately back up for sale again within days by a different vendor near South Shields.....
It’s not a ’moany rant’ it’s telling it exactly as it is. As many have said, don’t change. We’ll never change or avoid the scumbags who have no decency or honesty in thier bodies, but expect everyone to be honest and fair with them. It doesn’t matter if your the dealer, the buyer, the end user or the repairer, we all need to work together and take responsibility for our own actions. Fortunately, those who know, know. Keep up the good work, don’t let it eat you or you’ve been done twice. Great content even if it makes the blood boil 🤬😡
Matt, if I were in the market for a good used car you would be top of my list of dealers to contact, even though you are about 300 miles from me. You are honest and trustworthy and I would be confident of getting a genuine car. So sad that some people will take advantage.
Really good and honest video Matt. As a buyer I've often gone with my heart over my head and I've ended up with cars that were not as advertised. I feel for you as this is your business, your livelihood. It's all about being honest and unfortunately there are a lot of dishonest people out there looking to get one over on everyone else. Good luck with the sale of the TT, hopefully you wont get done with the next one.
Totally agree with you Matt. Its not a level playing field clearly. It makes me angry when people think they can take the piss and sell a potentially unfit/dangerous car to an unsuspecting customer. Always be straight with people if you are selling. Its not hard and it saves grief. If I sold a car that wasnt right and something bad happened I would be mortified! Never gonna happen on my watch. Hope your next one makes a nice bit of bunce to take the sting out 👍
Such a shame we can’t all be honest and fair with each other, it spoils everything for everyone. Sadly it’s the way the whole world is going, quick wins, dirty tricks, deception and general greed. Sad, but true. I still think there are a few good people left and you’re certainly one of them - never change, those who know, know. 😇
The best motoring videos on UA-cam. He doesn't take the cars on a high-speed track or take them sideways, he just gives an honest appraisal of the car. And they are all cars we might consider buying. We get t see the car inside out.
There are many disrespectful people out there that will try it on. You are the bigger person, you will come back from this, your experience in the car trade will win through. Keep up the good work Matt👍
I was expecting “so I massively overspent but it’s now a properly sorted car and I’ll make a small profit on it” Worthwhile because I agree the mk1 TT is a classic. 100% the seller knew of all the faults I mean who doesn’t know their own car has airbag light on. Shame he thought it was ok to pass it on to you and let you take the hit.
Love your channel... top tip. Before any purchase, always ask what tires the car is sporting. Mismatch or budget tires? Walk away. This tip has never failed in my last 100+ car purchases.
I have never sold a car with any known faults , I usually buy and put money into getting it as near perfect as I can afford and selling them on after a couple of years , not the way to make money , I just love doing it , I own a Z4 coupe and just put £1300 into it , it's gorgeous now , so I'll prob sell it soon, but complete honesty and transparency always , happy motoring and stay safe .
Thanks, Matt for an important perspective in dealing of used cars. You got smoked on this TT and that`s a pity, and the good guys lose out once in a while, however, hopefully built trust with your customers for the long run.
It’s a good lesson for us all. When I watched your appraisal of the paintwork, the service history and then saw bits of trim lying around, I knew this one was doomed…. Feel your pain and unfortunately it was very much intentional by our man with small tool box and the can of red spray paint. I am new to your channel love the videos and what you do!! Respect for posting!!!
Sorry you got a raw deal with this one Matt, I love how you save cars every week and keep cars on the road that might otherwise end up as scrap even if you don't make much of a profit. Keep up the great work.
You seem a lot more ethical than the vast majority of US dealers. IDK, but it sounds like UK Consumer Protection laws are pretty stringent. Appreciate the fact that you're an honest businessman.
Another great video Matt. Many thanks. Thanks also for your genuine integrity and honesty about the work you do and the business you run and also how you try to give used vehicles a further safe life on the road. You didn’t deserve the treatment from the seller of this Audi TT and were justified in your comments at the end. Keep up the great work! 😊👍
You are an honest man, you work hard, and certainly make sure the cars you offer for sale are in the best condition. I agree with you, it's not fair, and the saying Trust no one is a lesson for us all. The best of health and wishing your next car video is a total success!
Bad times have two positives: they're opportunities to learn, and they help us to appreciate the good times. I love this channel, and prefer to see the cars whee you have transformed and added value - like the MX5 (tempted to buy that one!). I also appreciate the stories where it doesn't go to plan, simply because of the way you keep it real. Thanks for a great channel.
Hi Mat I think the person in question, was not being honest to say the least. And yes to confirm your suspicion you was had over. All I can say is don't buy blind, like you said you have no legal comeback, it is very unfair. I enjoy watching your videos, good luck for the future
From my personal experiences of doing business with many used car dealers over many year I have to say that you are an honest decent young man who is setting a good example of how a used car dealer should behave. Unfortunately on this occasion your good nature has been taken advantage of Mat!
Its refreshing to hear someone who is so transparent, I would definitely buy a car from you. I hope this does'nt happen to often, would love to know how much you sold the TT for in the end.
Hey Matt, I feel for you, I got done over buying a car a few years ago. It’s easy to feel bitter and carry it around with you. However I believe most people are descent hardworking hones people like yourself and my faith over the years have been restored thankfully. Hope some better luck comes your way.
Buying blind is always risky but I have only been burned once in my last dozen or so cars. You’re right, it’s a horrible feeling, but you just have to suck it up and cut your losses. You have the right attitude and sadly this won’t be your last experience. I enjoyed the honesty of this video though, well done for showing us your pain.

I had one of these a few years ago. It too had a clean MOT. It was fine for about a month and then absolutely everything went wrong with it. The clincher was the steering rack. In the end I scrapped it for £400 barely 11 months into my ownership. Never again!

Matt have you ever considered using a pre-purchase inspection service before buying a car you can't check? Pretty sure it would end up paying for itself
Definitely not fair, the fact the seller replied with "It's a 20 year old car what do you expect" confirms he knew about the issues and chose not to tell you. A real shame to take advantage of your genuine nature.
I picked a similar one up recently with 100k miles for £500. A few cheap issued to fix and flew through an MOT with no advisories. I guess I was lucky.
That’s a crappy thing to do, I can’t believe the seller wouldn’t have known, hope karma rears its head after such a low act, fingers crossed you don’t lose too much Matt 🤞
I think the seller knew about the airbag light on and the display on dashboard being faulty the exhaust system he may not know it was rusty the suspension faults he may have not known about but he or she would have heard knocking sounds at some point but maybe the car was never used on rough roads. He or she may have not known it has been painted from the video the paint looks shiny the wheels were done poorly. Cambelt was done sticker on engine. But did not see the mileage stamp there not about age it'd mileage that matters with cambelts. And no mention of water pump being changed. Changing a waterpump with a camblelt is like changing a role watch battery with the 5th pin of of the strap. With a item that is of lower quality than the original.
Damn. Don't let a bad egg bring you down. Keep up your honesty as it will undoubtedly bring you extra custom. Hopefully you'll get some of the money back from this video. I'm sure it'll be popular.
I feel for you on this one. You are a rare breed among car dealers and you don't deserve to be screwed over when you have integrity in all of your dealings with your customers. It's an eye opener into the business. Perhaps you should start giving deposits only on "bought blind" cars till you verified the mechanical state.

Unfortunately some people, like the “gentleman” that sold you the TT doesn’t have the same moral compass. However please don’t change. You are where you are in life for a reason 👍🏼😊
You make a great point, there needs to be more protection for private buyers. If you can provide proof of the purchase and the seller cannot prove they told you sbout the issues, you should be able to do something. Theres no way they weren't aware of an airbag light. Definitely intentional.
It has got to be the only car that went from a concept car to production with almost no changes... I think the only thing they added was the rear quater glass and rear spoiler. The concept car only had side glass on the doors.
Chancers take chances I suppose! Absolute madness, why not get someone that knows about these cars to inspect it for you? If only Matt had taken some one with him that knows about cars! instead of guessing. One look at its mot history tells you all you need to know. It hasn't been serviced properly judging by the number of failures and advisories.😉 That paintwork should have been enough to put him off. Must get the number of his hairdresser🤣
I feel for you Matt. I bought an S40 during lockdown from a dealer, who quite frankly took advantage of the fact it was my first car purchase and sold me a car with a dodgy MOT and didn’t know much about the source of some issues. I spent £2000+ to get the “mystery issues” fixed, and yet never went back to complain to him, felt pointless by then. I took it as lesson learned and I will be as truthful as I can when it comes to time to sell it privately or as part ex. Actually feel sorry for people like this. It has to be a sad life.
So sorry to hear you got stung on your first car purchase. The sad truth is that you need to assess the condition and history of every car you buy, regardless of who you buy it from. Actually I like buying from dealers, they rarely stupidly overprice cars and dealers who make a habit of selling good cars will rarely suddenly sell a dog, it’s less hassle for a quality dealer to either not get involved in dodgy stock or just move them on In the trade if they find they have one. My top tip is to totally avoid any dealer with the word “trade” anywhere in their business name, and never buy from a trader masquerading as a private seller. A private seller will have their name and address on the V5. Remember dodgy people and dodgy cars go together, as do decent cars and decent people.
I saw your video on the Audi tt. I think you show the reality of the car business. Thanks for all your advice from your videos. One thing I learned is to look after your car no matter how small the repair or part is needed. Cheers keep up the good work. I’m still a Citroen fan😁.
I was really impressed with how you talked about the market, particularly how wary you, as a conscientious dealer have to be. I’m in Hampshire, not needing a car change, but if I did, I’d talk to you Matt, as I can see you’re a man who’ll level honestly with me. Thanks again
About 5 years ago I bought my partner an immaculate 2001 1.8T 220 roadster in red with only 40K on the clock. It was always going to do a tiny mileage (we had a "proper" car) anyhow, and it came from a private enthusiast in a smart house with 2 more in the garage. Paid absolutely top whack (can't recall) but it seemed exceptional. In the 2 years we had it, both differential and turbo completely failed along with a bunch of other stuff. I worked out I'd paid £16 per mile in repairs. I said it had to go, and just before we put it up for sale, some little smeg ran a knife up both sides (and it had ALL original paintwork, which looked incredible). Lost thousands on the resale. I wouldn't touch one again with a bargepole no matter how cute they are. Oh, and that respray is laughably awful.
Yes totally agree with you Matt, I've also been mis-sold to several times when getting cars delivered. Some really dodgy customers out there. Buying and selling cars brings out the worst traits in people.
For an auto business, yeah, I agree with you, Matt. It must never go over the budget, or you will be wasting money and ruining your business. But, for an enthusiast, that car is GOLD. If I lived in the Uk, I would buy that car from you, restore it, whatever the budget, and use it as a daily. I love the Audis from the late 90's, early 2000's. I have a 2000 A3 that I keep with very much care and love. Best of luck to you, I wish you find the right petrolhead to sell it for, and give it the love and care that this first Gen TT deserves. Cheers, Matt!

Agree with you Matt, its totally wrong what he's done. At the end of the day you are trying to run a business and you seem to be one of the good dealers out there. I would for sure buy a car off you if im in the market for one. Hopefully a bit of karma will reach that guy. Possibly when he buys his boxster. 😁
My favourite car when I was child. Absolutely loved design. I got a toy of black one with 1.8T for my 4th birthday in 2001. I played so much with this car and it still is at home :)
Same for me, I still have a mint first sales TT brochure/booklet that I got from an audi dealership in 1999... Plus a toy model Roadster in dark grey with the red seats from that time that I have always had on a shelf! ... Now I own a beautiful example of the exact same spec Mk1 Quattro Roadster and to me it is like a Ferrari... Because owning one back then was such a dream of mine!
Sorry to hear that someone would pull wool over your eyes. I've been watching your videos for a while and you've always been honest and upfront about your cars. This viewer had probably known you're always busy and put trust in people and buy cars blind so he took advantage of that. I got scammed from a youtuber off car repairs so I know how shit it feels.
Not sure! The owner, if the car had passed an mot, he wouldn’t know about the sills, the car sounds fine when you drive it so he wouldn’t know the exhaust needs changing. The warning light on the airbag, try looking under the front seats and pushing the connection back in, these airbag connectors come loose with the constant moving the seat backwards and forwards. Common with the TT, I’ve had three!
That's what I was thinking He complains that he bought a car for 2000 bucks and expects it to be in good shape and easily and cheaply repaired. A good TT with those miles in good condition is at least at 5-7k
From watching your videos for some time… you can tell your a genuine honest guy’ with a passion for what you do…. I genuinely feel for you in this situation’ shocking behaviour from the seller…. He wasn't trying to rip you off, if he was he wouldn't have left you with an opportunity to do the same in return with the Baxter. Most people would but the bangs and rattles down to its age, and the average consumer wouldn't look at sills or exhausts unless the MOT flagged it. Good vid, found as I was just searching for tips on the mk1 TT - fancy one.

I just just bought a 2005 & I DO not know nothing about cars & I had NO money & paid £1300 . It’s got advice on MOT help ANY ONE.

Feel for you as car salesman are always the scapegoat but I can honestly say you are one of the most honest salesman I know keep up the good work
Car salesman are not "scapegoats" they work hard to get their reputations as rip off merchants, they lie so often they lose touch with reality.
@@Storm.Z.4u that’s like saying all “every industry” are the same. You can not tar the whole industry by one example
Methinks the seller was fully aware of the vehicles 'issues' hence the sale. It is a risk you run in your line of work I guess, does not make it acceptable however - never ceases to disappoint me how willing some people are to rip others off. A little more honesty & integrity in the world would surely help imho.
My thoughts too.
I agree, it was a dishonest act
Seller was dishonest/didn't really tell the full story but the risk is with the buyer for buying blindly
Feel the seller might buy and sell cars on the side
Seller would of known 100%
Unfair in your case as your so honest and fair.
But what do you expext its a 20 year old car......
I hope you get as much as you can to minimize losses and the rest covered by this video 🤞🏻
Keep up being great. Cheers 🙌🏻
lol dude, the yt ad revenue and car vertical sponsor cash he will get form this video will make up for it, and more. he aint that bothered.
@@denaco probably, but that's not really the point, because if the car was decent (as one would expect if you buy something from someone who knows you), those would be profit for his work and not just "making up for the losses", know what I mean?
@@JuanManuelTastzian i know buddy, but he has the luxury of making a video about it and getting the money back in a week from ad revenue, we dont do we? so dont feel too bad for him. feel for those out there that dont have this option of making a video to recuperate the loss. 1800 is pennies to him and he can sell it for £1000 anyway in the state it's in. so no violins playing for mat from me. this video alone made him around £1000 with the view count 150k.
I'm polishing up an old banger as we speak, when do you want to send your man round to collect :)
Nice one!
Well said !
As the saying goes in the car retailing game, If you don’t get it wrong once in a while you are clearly not buying and selling enough cars 😊
That’s true
I feel sorry for you as you’re always very honest yourself
I’m surprised the rust issues didn’t show up on the MOT but he must have known scout the paintwork, air con, airbag light etc
I’ve watched you since you started and these lemons di appear quite rare for you luckily
Keep your chin up Matt
I love the Audi TT, I'm not mechanically minded I've currently got a 3.2 mk1 and before I bought it privately, I got a full RAC inspection. The two I looked at before I settled on my current one where to put it politely, sheds.
I'm now looking to get a mk2 3.2 and now I know how to check the MOT history on line, it takes a lot of worry out of the process but I will still get an RAC inspection done before I buy, why wouldn't you.
Very good point.
Amazing how the previous owner shelled out for a badly done respray but wouldn't get the things that really needed to be done fixed.
I think that was done to get the attention of a young & naive buyer, who would get excited about the prospect of driving a shiny red sports car, and getting the attention that it brings and only examine the car skin deep before buying it . A Sports car with a dull, faded paint job isn’t going to appeal to many...
@@paulsz6194 true, true.
Exactly
Owners of that type of car are after the looks, for most it is much more important a paint job than any rattle under the bonnet.
The old Audi tt is an absolute design classic! Never cared mutch for the newer ones
Me too... The original model really exudes sporty cuteness
This car was for sale for a while in the north east of England.... Newcastle area....it was known locally as a lemon
It was sold and then appeared immediately back up for sale again within days by a different vendor near South Shields.....
Thanks!
I sold a car, but only after I sorted out an intermittent airbag light. I couldn’t sleep at night, thinking the airbag was dicky.
You’re absolutely right. Honesty works both ways. Seller should be ashamed
Buddy you know it's a gamble buying blind.
It's amazing how so many cars you come across in your profession, you still always comes across tyre brands you never heard of!
Hi Mat
I think the person in question, was not being honest to say the least.
It went for £870 on E-Bay. No doubt someone can do something with it.

I enjoyed the honesty of this video though, well done for showing us your pain.
fully understand your rant bud, justifiable 100%, love these cars (don't like much German stuff tbh), drove one round Brands hatch for a driving experience, handles wickedly, would love to take this off your hands but have to be honest, don't have the money at present unfortunately, but due to your honesty, at least we all know what needs doing to it, and so no nasty surprises
I had one of these a few years ago. It too had a clean MOT. It was fine for about a month and then absolutely everything went wrong with it. The clincher was the steering rack. In the end I scrapped it for £400 barely 11 months into my ownership. Never again!

I agree Matt, integrity is the key word. My definition: Doing the right thing, even when you know that no-one is watching...
Definitely not fair, the fact the seller replied with "It's a 20 year old car what do you expect" confirms he knew about the issues and chose not to tell you. A real shame to take advantage of your genuine nature.

100% agree with everything you said!! seller was a rat in this instance!!!
Why buy without checking its MOT history first.
Been looking at buying a Porsche 997 the amount with dodgy history is mad.
Well why would anyone sell you a car that you can put 200euros in and double you money.

I bought a Mk1 and I loved it….right up until the clutch went and would have cost me more to get it repaired than what the car was worth.
He wasn't trying to rip you off, if he was he wouldn't have left you with an opportunity to do the same in return with the Baxter. Most people would but the bangs and rattles down to its age, and the average consumer wouldn't look at sills or exhausts unless the MOT flagged it. Good vid, found as I was just searching for tips on the mk1 TT - fancy one.
i don’t even have time to watch this yet but can already tell this is a “massively overspent” 🤣
Lol 😂
It's even worse :)
I'm watching...
😊😊😊😊 In anticipation....😊😊😊
It's a nail, poor guy's been stiffed.
😂😂😂😂
That's a horrible trick to pull off of on such an honest guy like yourself. Feel for you man. Hopefully you can pull back your loss on the next couple of deals. I despise dishonesty and anyone being deceitful.
The key fob alone raised flags, and always have to question someone who can't be bothered to reattach a pedal top too! Shame they decided to take advantage of you, there are always some.
The story says more about you than him. Don’t change. You don’t want to lower yourself to his standard. Enjoy the the channel and keep up the good work
Mate, mint examples aren't 1800 quid are they now, do your homework before spending £££. Caveat emptor!
like people say, if its too good to be true it probably is. If you don't have a clue about something pay someone that does.
One thing though its worth more in parts🤣
Nice range of clothing you've got though.
I totally agree, it would be completely foolish not to get an inspection done.
yes he must be the most unsavvy car dealer ever .
Lmao, the test drive sounded like my Grandparent's 40yr old matress after Gramps got his blue pills.
"Come eeer Barbara, yurr a very lucky Lady!"
Matt “I’ve always been a big fan of the …insert car name…“
… 15 minutes later “I’ve massively overspent on this one chaps”
But new plates and some Bosch wipers will lift it 😂
@@molluscturtleas Matt drives off into the sunset in the Reliant Robin he just spent 3 grand on 😂
You've given all the reasons why I won't buy privately or blind.
Too many private sellers are "economical with the truth" and even people like you can get stung occasionally.
I think there should be some recourse, agree a price reduction, but its not the way it is.
On to the next one Matt!
Who buys a car without seeing it in person..? FFS 🙄
Exactly!
Not me that's for sure. Get a thorough inspection done! it lists every minute detail, even down to the tiniest stone chip.
A dealer who is churning a lot of stock
You Tube content providers!
