Blue Rodeo is part of what makes Canada the greatest country on earth. Thank you Blue Rodeo for decades of great music - music that is is timeless and epic.
I saw them in Montreal this past summer. This was my fourth time and it never gets old. I am so proud to call them a Canadian Band. The show was a celebration of the release from 3 years of Covid prison. The atmosphere was as good as it could ever have been. Tears of joy everywhere, including the band. God Bless Blue Rodeo!!
Hasn’t hit me yet will forever be time they played at Fort York when they headlined the Stardust Picnic. We were young and in our cups when we the entire crowd sang “out in the middle of Lake Ontario” together. Priceless.
Blue Rodeo are simply the best in my lifetime period and you're 🇨🇦 Canadian 🇨🇦 through and through I've seen these Live acts Led Zeppelin Rolling Stones Pink Floyd 3 times Alice Cooper Kris Kristofferson Rita Coolidge Joe Cocker Eagles several times Jackson Brown Sting Annie Lenox Rod Stewart Elton John Neil Young Bob Dylan Beyonce Cher James Taylor BB king Andrea Bocelli Lou Rawls Shannia Twain Lionel Richie April Wine played at our high school In 1970 Burlington Central I know I am missing some bands and acts I've seen on this list Blue Rodeo are my favorites 💙 I have seen TheBoys play live dozens of times from where I grew up in Ontario to where I live now in beautiful Saskatoon Saskatchewan. I saw them in the summer of 94 behind the Bess in the gardens they sounded fantastic back there against the river. I hope and pray 🙏 I get to see Blue Rodeo 💙 in Feb. here in Toontown since I am of the unvaxed crowd I am not antivax I am pro choice. Love you guys 🇨🇦 ❤ Cheers
Must AGREE! THIS Recording Sounds SPECTACULAR! Thank You George and your Production Team for delivering This AWESOME PERFORMANCE! Most Appreciated and Thank You BLUE RODEO and Starfish for ALL YOUR Incredible WORK Helping and Encouraging Talented Artists! ❤
Good guy. NHL gig wasn’t a good fit. He felt like he was forcing it and went into a situation where Rogers was building him and the new broadcast up. Can’t win in such a situation. Glad he’s rebounded. Chin up bro
Pure Love here. Thank you all at the the House of Strombo who worked on putting this together and sharing it with all of us. It's beautiful. Thank you Blue Rodeo for the years of music!
Always loved their music and one day had the blessing of doing camera for one of their shows. Trust me, you want to see them live. The vocal harmonies, musicianship and vibe...it all works so well in a live setting. Top notch and worth every dime. One of the best live Canadian bands of HISTORY!
I couldn't agree more! Saw them in Ottawa back in 2017 and walked out of the venue thinking "That was one of the greatest concerts I've ever had the privilege to see", and I've been to hundreds. For the next few months I couldn't help but tell EVERYBODY to go experience a Blue Rodeo concert.
George we all owe you for putting together such an incredible show, writing this from my dorm room abroad and brought tears to my eyes listening to one of my favourite bands with such a strong performance. Just breathtaking.
I have not heard It Hasn't Hit Me Yet in a few years... sat here and sang every word with heart!! Awesome show and way too short! Enjoying from the 314... St. Louis, Mo
What a perfect song from an amazing beautiful Canadian band, brings tears with a massive smile, if i ever re-marry i hope that my fiancee Loves this song as much as i do to use as our dance ( wedding ) song.
I have to add this, that BLUE RODEO has been my favourite band since the beginning. I take you Jim Cuddy to the gym with me & around the house. 7 days a week. I've loved your singing & made 2 trips back home from Florida to St John's Newfoundland & returned back to finish my winter vacation there. I have played music since I was a kid .i have 3 guitars one an electric a large keyboard. & a set of drums.started when I was 13 yrs old & now I'm 77 & still crazy for music & my Motorcycle, the photo here was taken in 2016. 2 yrs April past. ...when will you be back to St John's .again? I hope not in the winter time...Thanks for making so many people Happy. don't ever give up. all the best.Florence.
As John Legend would say on 'The Voice', "Jim Cuddy - your voice is magical!" What a crystal clear, pleasing to the ear vocal. And the rest of the group is absolutely sick behind him (Greg's voice is up there, too).
The best thing about living in the Detroit area was being exposed to Canadian radio and TV. I grew up on HNIC,CKLW,,CJOM,and, later,CMOX.You can't get that in Middle America-only in border towns.
Very funny at 20:07 [the fellow holding up an image of a Zippo lighter]. I recall in 1995 at a concert in Kitchener-Waterloo how the audience all lit up their indiglo watches swaying them back and forth and the band thought it was hilarious. Thanks BR for decades of fantastic music and memories. The best band ever.
I remember them playing at the University of Prince Edward Island student union building, in either "89 or "90. They had played a concert in Toronto months before (Skydome I think ) with a whole bunch of big names, including, I think , Dylan. They were way down the billing; they told us they enjoyed our gig much more.
Best band ever and the nicest guys. Been following them for years. Jim inspired me to keep playing guitar. Was nice to get back stage with them and chat. Best moment ever....
How does this not have 100's of 1000's of view & likes? The best band..from the best country..in the best place, with the best host! This is everything. Oh yah..there are a couple very confused individuals out there, if they have chosen thumbs down. I don't even understand how that's possible.
Without trying, I know all these songs. A. I love CanCon. B. This country produces such amazing art. C. I need to get to know Blue Rodeo better (more time spent on Canada’s underground punk/indie scene) D. Amazing interview as always George!
Thanks for posting!!!!! Love the "house" shows!!! Thanks for the scenes shown in the first 3 minutes. A great concert in a great setting by a great band! IMO, you saved the best for the last.
That is so funny . I always said that from the first time that I heard Blue Rodeo . I think they would appreciate the comparison . Our Canadian Hillman and Parsons .Very special . Either The FBB's or Guy Terrifico . Peace from The canadian Maritimes
I have seen Blue Rodeo 10 times, all in Montreal. Come back boys, we miss you!

Love your comment and couldn't agree more!
Fukn eh!
And now we have fauxine madness and Trudeau’s globalist strong arm tactics. Sadly, that comment didn’t age well.
Have always loved Blue Rodeo
