Samir, this is the first of your Gent's Talk podcast interviews I have viewed, and I am truly impressed by the intelligent and forthright conversation you had with Jim Cuddy. Your thoughtful, knowledgeable and insightful questions enabled him to openly share his own thoughts, knowledge and insights -- not to mention his wisdom and compassion -- with your audience. Thanks for this.

Actually he was a complete divk to him the entire, unprofessional, boring, targeting interview, all about his past, and what dirt he was very much Hoping to find, and never let go once.

This is so totally amazing. Thank you, Samir, for asking such terrific questions and steering the conversation as you did. I'm not familiar with this podcast; I'm only here because of Jim hahaha As a long-time big fan of Jim's and Blue Rodeo, I have to say that if you ever see Jim with his son(s), you know that he has been and continues to be an amazing, present dad. Music makes Jim's heart beat; he would not be the man he is without music. It's his happiness. Without that, he may have been home more, but I believe he would have been a different kind of person and father.
Kudos to both of you for the vulnerability and honesty here. 👏👏👏 I enjoyed this very much.

Due to an MVA I had a traumatic brain injury in 1993. Blue Rodeo’s music spoke to me in so so many ways as I made my journey through a world I no longer recognized. They continue to be an important part of my life.

I first heard/ saw Blue Rodeo in a bar in Grande Prairie AB in the 80s when i was playing pool with friend. They were a new band then but were playing some original songs. We were in town for a curling bonspiel. I didn't curl, but I definitely bonspieled 😉. I was so impressed with their original music that I came around the corner and stood in front of the band listening to this unbelievable sound. I have been a fan every since.

Blue Rodeo's songs are enmeshed in my life. I love the band and have been a fan for many years. Their music helped me get through some very hard times in my 30's and that was 30 years ago. I am so thankful that Blue Rodeo members shared their gifts and talents with all of us.

It’s always great to get some Jim time in 🥰 I feel this hard truth as well. It’s also alway’s been a power struggle to have any kind of relationship with my mother or the rest of the half sibling’s as well. That’s why music has always been there for me etc..

I appreciate your thoughtful and respectful approach to the interview. I have been in love with the Jim Cuddy persona from years and have always respected him. I understand that as Jim is a son and father that you focused a lot on his father. I just wish that there were more questions about his mother. At least a wider view of their relationship. Thanks, Valerie

That was the hardest thing I watched in my life, with Grace completely on Jim's behalf. It reminded me of fumbling Social Workers, tongue in cheek mumbling and guessing. I Hope Jim got paid for this brutal day, 44 min interview, which lacked all class and insight into anything besides the Interviewer's learning.
